We felt the deal we got at the Royal Santina was worthwile compared with (atleast the presentation of ) other hotels in the same street. The Royal Santinas location is right near the back entrance to the termini station (where you can get buses/metro to anywhere) however there were no decent restaurants near the hotel. Staff we're as straight faced... more

We just stayed at the Royal Santini/Santana in Rome and did not have a very good experience. We stayed in a 'triple' at least that's what we called it. I believe it was their double with a cot. The beds were terrible, actually had a spring poking through one. The cot was even worse. Between the three of us, we... more

Don't stay on this hotel! The furniture and the rooms are old, there is a smell of smoke everywhere in the hotel, no matter how much time you leave the windows open. The chief of the restaurant kicks you off it if you arrive near to 10h30m (on a decent hotel, you enter the restaurant and finish the breakfast without... more

Stayed there many times with my company. Very practical location to be sure, and the comments about the front desk staff are very much to the point, except for a couple of the front desk staff. The review which mentioned a lost purse/bag caught my interest because two years ago, I mailed work-related materials to the hotel two months ahead... more

We have just stayed for a 3 night break at The Royal Santina Hotel and could not fault it. We had a room at the back which meant peace after hitting the streets of Rome. The breakfast was ample, the rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff were all very helpful. We left our luggage in their luggage room on... more

went for a short 3 night break to see the sites of Rome and could not have wished for a better hotel, friendly, helpful and ideally situated. Being next to the Termini and bus station thought there might have been a bit of noise, but all was quiet. Would certainly recommend this hotel to friends and family. more

This hotel is a good base for sightseeing. It is directly opposite where the terravision airport shuttle coach drops off so there is no need to look for a taxi or walk in an unknown place although the termini (station) is literally less than 100 yds down the street and from there you can take a train, take the metro... more

Biggest plus is convenience. Right next to Termini station - great for the bus from and to the airport, the metro lines both go to the Termini and everyone knows where it is so you can't get lost. Room was small but clean and comfy bed, shower was great and breakfast was fine. Will stay here again next time in... more

I liked this place but didn't stay here long (one night), on the advice of the Venice accomodation office. It was comfortable, clean and cool (GREAT AC). Not too noisy (Higher the quieter). Decent breakfast if you like croissants. more

The biggest benefit of this hotel is its location next to Termini station. Of the dozens and dozens of hotels near the station, the Santina appeared to be one of the nicer ones and was not too loud. The benefit of being near Termini station is that it is the only place that the A and B subway lines go... more
