I spent 2 nights at the Medici and booked this hotel directly as it was much cheaper that way (80 + 90 euros for a Thursday and Friday). It is a pleasant hotel though the single beds are tiny, not 3ft wide as I expect a single to be. Room was dark due to what appears to be fixed shutters,... more

Medici is a nice hotel with positive and helpful staff(we had good information and help in other ways too). We stayed fo 3 nights and have not much to complain about. The rooms were clean and fine. We had a nice breakfast with many sweet things(marmelades, juices and sweet bread). The only thing that we didn't like was noices from... more

on our family vacation to italy, we stayed at hotel medici after reading reviews from trip advisor. i must say we were quite happy with the rooms and the hotel. The complimentary breakfast had good variety. most important, it was centrally located and near all the major tourist attractions. it saves lot of time as well as money. i highly... more

The hotel is on a quiet side street on the east of Rome but still within walking distance of all the attractions. It was clean and reasonably well furnished. We had a triple room which was plenty big enough and of a reasonable standard of decor. Breakfast is a buffet affair but plentiful, more than enough before a long day's... more

Spent two nights in the Hotel Medici and found it reasonably good. On arrival the concierge was pleasant and courteous, The room was a little disappointing in that it was darkish and hardly spacious but as Roman hotels go it was fine. It was clean and had a room safe and large bathroom. The breakfast was ok with ham, cheese... more

Although I read the reviews I felt this Hotel was not centrally located and was in fact quite a walk to most central attractions. I am usually happy with most hotel however I was disappointed in the size of the rooms which were miniscule and quite dark. Very different to the photos. On checking in I was given a key... more

LOVED this hotel! Though 3 star.. great service, great location and very nice staff. We were pleasantly suprised that the hotel was so nice. We could walk to the Termini and all the sites and sounds. The patio was great to sit and read at. Wine at the bar at night. And a good filling breakfast for the morning. I... more

We have just returned from a stay at the Hotel Medici and we had a wonderful time there. We arrived at the hotel at 11am and expected to have to wait to check in but the man on reception went out of his way to find a room that was ready and even took into account a room away from... more

Hotel Medici was a wonderful place to spend 3 days in Rome. The room was clean and spacious, the staff (who spoke English) were very friendly, and the free breakfast was great. There is also 3 little restaurants and a little grocery store right next to the hotel. The only thing I could complain about is the shower was a... more
