We stayed for a long weekend for the New Years and we were quite satisfied. The location is excellent, it is very close to the Termini train station and there is a bus stop within 2 minutes. However, you will probably not need the bus, since most tourist attractions are within walking distance. We walked everywhere, we only took the... More

Location is fine, rooms are grand for the price, people at the desk are excellent, breakfast just adequate, but a fine base for a weekend visit...nice walk to Querenale district, and taxis are good value when ordered from the desk. More

We stayed here for a few nights at the beginning and end of our trip to Italy for sightseeing in Rome. The location is great for sightseeing in Rome, and many sights (Trevi fountain) are in walking distance. The hotel staff were very friendly helpful, and made great restaurant recommendations and also assisted with transportation arrangements, and sightseeing sggestions. All... More

Just stayed in Medici for 5 nights over the Christmas/New Years holiday period with my partner. We are a couple in our early 30s from Ireland. This was our 3rd trip to Rome. We selected Medici on the basis of reviews on Trip Advisor. Positives: * 10 minute walk with luggage from termini. * Reasonable walking distance to most major... More

This charming italian style hotel has a very nice downtown location on a tranquil street with a number of really good restaurants, wine bars and groceries/delicacy shops. Don´t miss to try for example the modern and trendy Marchetti wine bar or the nearby Ristorante La Locanda di Bacco both also at Via Flavia just two bocks away. At the same... More

The Hotel Medici is truly a little piece of heaven in "the eternal city" with an outstandingly helpful and charming staff. Very comfortable room with huge, well-equipped bathroom. Lovely breakfast room with very good continental breakfast buffet which featured a coffee machine that produced excellent espresso, cappucino, machiato, americano cups of coffee with the push of a button. Beautiful little... More

I wished to add to my requirements and advise that I would be arriving after normal check-in hours. I received a prompt e-mail response that set the tone for my stay. The first morning I went to reception to meet the charming Dino, who presents like a film-star, and reported a problem with the waste-plug and to request some extra coat-hangers.... I agree with other reviewers about friendly staff, great location (quiet, near Termini Station) and being more than 3 stars. In addition, the place was impeccably clean and the room came with free wifi. Best of all, was how they handled a problem for us. We asked them to call us a cab for the airport. Instead, they arranged for... More

We stayed in a family room which was clean and reasonably spacious. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the included breakfast tasty. The hotel is in a quiet location, but as with most of Rome, sadly, the streets are dirty and smelly, especially at the end of August.. But this obviously not under the control of the Hotel. It...
