This hotel is in a safe area which was also very quiet which was much appreciated after a full day of walking around and all you want is a good nights sleep. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. We would have appreciated in room tea and coffee making facilities. Our room had only a shower cubicle but... More

I actually liked the room at this hotel, the bed wasn’t great, pillows a little hard and crack in the mattress was annoying if your a swimmer while you sleep. But the rest of the room was perfect, the location was great, i liked the courtyard, and the restaurant right across the street served a good meal. All in all... More

Lovely room, service, breakfast and within five minutes of two outstanding ice cream shops! The desk people were friendly, helpful and we could not fault the establishment at all. Lots of places within walking distance, and bus stop in XX September will take you almost anywhere in Rome.

Adriano greeted us warmly and continued throughout our visit to go the extra mile to find directions for restrauants, tickets to Opera, a laundrymat , the metro for a trip we planned and made our stay feel as if we had visited a friends house ... even enjoying exchanging tales of our lives paths at 4 AM when we awoke... I stayed in a family room. One double and two singles. It was clean and basic ... It does what it says on the tin. Not fancy but adequate. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was really nice. The children filled up every morning and we ate locally in various restaurants. The walk to the termini took ten mins... More

We loved our double bed room. It was very comfortable and nice feeling of privacy. We recommend this hotel to all but be aware, you may have to climb steps. The elevator may be super busy or not working. We were not familiar or told that when you enter, you must flip the electric box switch to get electricity. I... More

We spent four nights at Medici in a double room (honeymoon). The location was great. Peaceful place and still quite close to everything. Room was fine and bed was just right for us. Breakfast was also good and all the staff were always very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended, very good value for money.

10 min walk from train station (where there is a metro and the hop on buses are also) The area feels safe at night with plenty other hotels, restaurants in the area, a 2 min walk from hotel will probably give 10 good places to eat. We booked a large double, bed was huge and good storage. The room was... More

We stayed at Medici hotel for 9 nights. Throughout our stay the staff were always friendly, our room was clean daily & WiFi in our room was great. The hotel is surrounded by nice restaurants. The wine bar & gelateria close by are highly recommended. Close to public bus stop.

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
