You can walk to once of the tour companies Carrani Tours and the bus picks you up right there. Right next to the tour office is an Express Grocery store where you can get water, wine and snacks for about... More

We stayed at Medici hotel for 9 nights. Throughout our stay the staff were always friendly, our room was clean daily & WiFi in our room was great. The hotel is surrounded by nice restaurants. The wine bar & gelateria close by are highly recommended. Close to public bus stop.

We had such a lovely time, the hotel is in a fantastic location, just a short walk from lots of really beautiful locations (we can highly recommend a visit to the santa maria degli angelini, about 5-10 minutes from the hotel) and only about 15 minutes from the tour bus stop. Our room was lovely, really high ceiling with a... More

Hotel is situated a 5 minute walk from main station. Staff were very friendly and helpful. we had to leave before breakfast on the Sunday, so they made us up a breakfast box to take away. Very clean and we'll maintained rooms. Would definitely stay there again.

Location, location, location. The Hotel Medici was a warm and wonderful hotel. The people are friendly, the bed was comfortable and the view from the terrace was something out of a postcard. The room was charming and had plenty of space to store luggage and move around. Pros: spacious room and bathroom which were clean and warm throughout our stay, comfortable beds, lovely soft towels that didn't have that vinegary industry washing smell, friendly staff and a small lift to take you up. Right next door to Pincere, the famous hole-in-the-wall pizza place. Cons: 15 min walk to the centre of town (Bernini etc) and 8 min... More

Just got back from Rome and spent 6 nights at the Medici Hotel. What an absolute treasure. I was by myself and had a single room that was very clean and had a modern bathroom with lots of hot water. I was up on the third floor and though there is a quaint old elevator - I used the stairs.... More

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for four night in October. I have to say that it was close to the metro around a five to seven minute walk. The rooms were clean but extremely small. Breakfast is a continental breakfast with the coffee being the only hot thing. The staff was friendly and helpful. You don't need... More

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
