Myself and may family stayed in Hotel Medici for 4 nights. Overall the stay was good. The only thing which spoilt our trip was the guests next door , shouting in the middle of the night. Unfortunately our room was not sound proof. The breakfast was ok , though not much choice . The staff was v friendly , especially... More

I booked this hotel for a surprise birthday present for my wife, I wanted to be in a central location for visiting all the wonderful sights Rome has to offer without paying a fortune, also not to far to go of an evening for a good restaurant. All I can say is it was absolutely perfect for us,10 min walk... More

My husband and I were part of a tour group of 35. The hotel was clean and in a good location to our planned tours. The bed and pillows were not very good. Overall the rooms were very tight and difficult to navigate as bathroom door opened into the bed and unable to move past it when it was open.... More

We stayed here with a group of 20. It wasn't too far from most of the sites in Rome. We walked all over the city. The rooms were fine for two of us. It was pretty close to the subway system. The breakfast was pretty basic.

This hotel is located in a government/business area which makes it a fairly quiet location. There are restaurants everywhere with outside dining. It is 8-10 blocks to the major sites. Rome is a beautiful city to walk around in with history being everywhere. The staff was helpful with someone at the desk who spoke English every time I asked a... More

This hotel was good value for money. We enjoyed the location and managed to walk everywhere, even to the vatican (though this was an hours walk or so) as we were keen to soak up the sunshine. The staff were friendly, recommending us activities and restaurants, breakfast was typical continental fare and the room was clean. Excellent shower which included... More

We chose this hotel, because it's close to the Termini station and in the walking distance to many attractions. We spent 6 nights and had a pleasant stay overall. The room is very clean and spacious. The breakfast is sufficient with a wide selection. The staff is friendly and helped us to make our trip enjoyable. We will choose this... More

We were a group of 15 people and we stayed in Medici for 2 nights. We were all impressed by staff's services and their hospitality! After a horrible experience with another hotel (we booked it 1 month ago but 2 days before our arrival we realised that our reservation did not exist!), we found this hotel and we were amazed... I only have good things to say about my stay at this Hotel, the room was cute and cozy, the linens and towels were up to par. The breakfast was good I enjoyed a ham and cheese sandwich, they also provide cream cheese, Nutella, pastries, and the coffee of your choice. Hotel staff were very helpful and courteous. Official Description (provided by the hotel):
Hotel Medici is located within the Roman Walls, in a historical area of the city, which was already important at the time of the Roman historian Sallust, who ordered the erection of a series of buildings with the largest and richest Roman garden (Horti Sallustiani), which can be still seen behind the hotel. At the beginning of the XX century, when the building was being renovated, a Greek statue of the fifth century was found, and it is now located in the National Roman Museum, and some Roman artifact are still visible within the structure.Hotel Medici offers high quality services in a warm and comfortable environment, and it is well-served by transport links providing access to the main points of interest of the city and the Termini Railway Station, which can also be reached on foot. The facility is located in an area with plenty of bars, restaurants, pizzerias and shops, bustling during the daytime, but very calm and peaceful at night.Staying at the Hotel Medici, wandering between the past and the present, you can easily reach the Quirinal Stables, have a cup of coffee in the fashionable Via Veneto, immortalized in Federico Fellini's La Dolce Vita (The Sweet Life) , or visit Villa Borghese enjoying a splendid view of Rome from the terrace of the Pincio. ... more   less
