Was very excited to stay here but I'm afraid to say the the high point of this hotel was the location. Very close to lots of sights such as the Fontana di Trevi, Spanish Steps, Pantheon and Piazza Navona. The hotel lobby and meeting rooms are very grand looking, but the actual rooms are quite dated and could use a... More

The only good things about this hotel was the wonderful location, a friendly Egyptian at the reception upon arrival and a great balcony. Light in bathroom never fixed after 5 days, curtains falling off rods and black mold in the bathroom. The staff in the Terrace Bar were rude and after waiting 15 minutes left without being waited on. Beware... More

Stayed here for 1 night - arrived at the hotel in the afternoon after a long couple of days of travel, wasn't sure what was more shocking seeing the doorman smoking at the door or him not helping me with my luggage or even opening the door. Check in was a bit cold, no welcome just very transactional lugged my... More

Had a great 2 nights here, still here for another 2 nights, it is located in an excellent place 3 min walking from spanish steps, 6 min drive to vatican city, 5 min drive to the colosseum. Lobby is really nice, staff are great, especially thomas from the conceirge, rooms not huge but enough. I would really recommend the hotel.

Worst staff, Hotel is outdated, tried to charge us an enormous amount after we had already paid for the rooms. Electrical wiring was exposed in the room. Plumbing leaked. We left a day early after already paying for the second night with no refund, that's how bad the hotel is. We went to another hotel, having already paid to stay... More

The hotel is very grand but the service is non-existent and the staff are quite rude and not at all helpful. The hotel is tired and needs refurbishment. We had a junior suite which was large but bathroom had no separate shower only the one in the bath. The breakfast was simple (tinned fruit and not much choice of breads.)... More

We wouldn't recommend this hotel, however, the location was good. Too many things to mention. It depends who you are dealing with, but generally we thought the service poor. No way is it 5 star. However, some of the decor is grand!

Wonderful location, all major sights are located close by foot. Via Condotti 2 min, Vatican 15 min, Trevi 20 min and all places by foot. Nice place to stay! Helpful staff. Enjoyable breakfast in calm hall. The possibility to organize transfer to Castell Romano.

Staying in Campo Marzio

Neighborhood Profile
Campo Marzio
From its original role as ancient army training fields to its present-day identity as one of the city’s most desirable neighborhoods, the Campo Marzio is the best place to get lost in Rome. Gorgeous Renaissance and Baroque palazzos line the streets, and are filled with enticing boutiques and food shops. By day, Rome’s best-dressed denizens criss-cross its streets in a fashionable parade of errands, occasionally pausing to look fabulous in gorgeous piazzas like San Lorenzo in Lucina. Campo Marzio can be a bit of a sleeper after aperitivi hour (9pm), so visit by day and experience the pulse of daytime Rome.
