The hotel is just like a palace. You feel like a king/queen on the entrance. The breakfast is fine. The rooms are clean, tidy and has great view on the city side. The service is also fine for an Italian hotel. It is a bit of a price range but really worth it. The location is perfect, it's in the... More

Lovely Hotel ,if you are looking for something more contemporary this is not the hotel for you. It is on a busy street and sometimes can be a bit noisy, so before we arrived we asked for a room overlooking the courtyard and on a top floor which they gave us ,we could not believe how quiet and peaceful it... great location. nice staff. good breakfast. but somethibg doesnt really work for The Grand hotel. all ingredients dont add up to a 5* hotel. it's just almost but not quite. it seems that they dont try hard enough or dont try anymore. it looks like it feels like: "this is the hotel. take it or leave it". we took it.... Loved the old world decor and rich colors and the Italian feel, it was exactly what I wanted for my first trip to Italy. There were musicians playing outside on the street lovely Italian music, a beautiful church just across the street and shopping and dining all right there.

We've stayed in many 5-star hotels in our travels and this is hands-down the worst. The hotels in Beijing are way better than this over-priced and over-rated hotel. The irony is that this hotel came highly recommended by a friend who had stayed at this hotel several years ago. I don't know what it was like then, but my husband... More

This hotel is located in an ideal location with easy access to virtually everything. Room had plenty of space for three people, ample storage, beautiful bathroom. Breakfast had a very good selection of items, and staff was generally very friendly and accommodating. I will definitely stay here the next time I am back in Rome.

My daughter and I stayed at this magnificent hotel for 5 days. It was absolutely perfect. They upgraded us to the presidential suite. They upgrade for free if available. The hotel transforms you to the grander old fashioned days of times gone by. You cannot ask for a better location easily we walked to all the sites. It's located on... More

This hotel had amazing ambience, decor and the best location ever. Literally on the doorstep for great shops, historic cafes, famous sights. We wouldn't stay anywhere else. We were a group of 4 friends and all loved the faded grandeur and history of this hotel - a great treat to stay there. The only things that could be improved upon... More

We spent four nights at the hotel and really enjoyed it. Great location, around the corner from the Spanish steps, about 15-20 min walk to Castel Sant'Angelo and a further 5-10 min walk to the Vatican. Pantheon was also close by. The church across from the hotel is magnificent inside. Our room was on the 5th floor, facing the courtyard,... More

Staying in Campo Marzio

Neighborhood Profile
Campo Marzio
From its original role as ancient army training fields to its present-day identity as one of the city’s most desirable neighborhoods, the Campo Marzio is the best place to get lost in Rome. Gorgeous Renaissance and Baroque palazzos line the streets, and are filled with enticing boutiques and food shops. By day, Rome’s best-dressed denizens criss-cross its streets in a fashionable parade of errands, occasionally pausing to look fabulous in gorgeous piazzas like San Lorenzo in Lucina. Campo Marzio can be a bit of a sleeper after aperitivi hour (9pm), so visit by day and experience the pulse of daytime Rome.
