While the hotel was in an excellant location within walking distance to the Spanish Steps, the Hotel could improve. I enjoyed the roof terrace and the tranquility of it in the late afternoo. The room was very comfortable and clean. We had a shower attachement but not at above head height! On check-in the staff member came across moody or... More

Et tu BRU-TAL! It just doesn't get any worse. If it wasn't for the location...it would be a zero star. The "free" breakfast is inedible. Our key doesn't open the room again. So we call down from another room to get a key brought up. The dude brings the master to open the door, but no key to leave us.... More

Location, Staff and Chefs are great about this hotel. Breakfast was great when you add hot options. The Lobby and sitting rooms have luxurious interior. The Basilica is front is grand to look at morning and evening. Other than bed and bathrooms, rooms are not cleaned for ages. There is smell of dust in the carpets. No complimentary water/tea coffee/bottle... More

Spent time at the hotel with the family. took 3 rooms. All rooms were spacious and clean. Staff was very helpful and all-in-all service was good. this is our 4th time there. Pickup from the airport was also efficient and quick. The location is superb. within walking distance from all the main attractions. Highly recommended.

Was told to come here for a Ameretto Sours drink. Yes the drink was nice, but this was past midnight and I had been drinking a lot. The place was quite strange. The furniture reminded me of the film Beauty and the Beast. This place is odd.

I was pleased with my choice of location of this hotel, I had never been to Rome before. We were greeted pleasantly by staff. The first night was a basic room. Very lovely decor and rested well. One week later returned to same hotel for 2 nights after a cruise. We had a room with a balocony and a view.(up... More

The hotel is dusty, the staff are rude and not helpful at all, the breakfast is like a breakfast at a 1 star hotel, the rooms smell of dust, the beds aren't comfortable at all! An excellent location hotel in via del corso. A huge hotel(maybe palace in the past), but very much outdated. Furniture was very very old, not particularly clean. The sink, toilet and bathtap in our room were dirty from the day of our arrival .There was mould on the walls of the shower..Breakfast was unacceptable. The pastries were stale. I always considered eggs... More

The two things going for this joint is (1) location, location, location and (2) the wow factor when you see the classic lobby and grand staircase. But that's it: the front desk (particularly the lady gestapo) is not professional or service oriented. The rooms are not elegant, quite worn, indeed odd, and lacking in basic essentials, like tissues, found at... More
