We had a great time in Rome and found the hotel to be well located. It is a little tired in places but the magnificence of the whole hotel and our spacious room helped us to be tolerant of it's tiredness. We booked a special deal which included a Rome pass and upgrade of room. This deal was only on offer... More

On arrival at this Hotel you soon realise you have made a mistake, the rudeness of the reception staff (first impressions count)no good morning , no first time in Rome just passport no please then credit card no thank you and then wait there and let me check if your room is ready.I now want to go home and to... Only go there if you want the best location. Otherwise an absolute disgrace. It's a shame as I'm sure once it was extremely grand. Apparently it's in the process of being taken over so it's in limbo. Staff has halved. Friendly staff and tried hard but they were stretched. I booked 4 rooms but they only had 2 for us... More

Although the location is really good right in the centre of the city and Via del Corso, the rooms are not well isolated and you can hear the noise from the street early in the morning. The bath didn't have a shower holder, which is not ideal at all. Hairdryer was old and not very efficient. Staff at the reception... More

The hotel is indeed beautiful. But given its price, there are items that can not be overlooked: Very uncomfortable to have a shower. It was a tub with cable shower. There was no support in high. making it even more difficult We also suffered an ant attack in our room. It can get quite noisy as it is located on... More

We were driving around in Italy by car, once close to Rome we called the hotel for direction as we know Rome is not accessible by car. The hotel told us to go trough Via Tomicelli and than once to the reception register the car plate number for permission. Once we arrived to the reception we had been welcomed by... More

You are in Rome after all and almost everything in the city is old. We ignored the bad reviews and picked it anyway. We had room 559 which was spectacular. Super high ceilings, very comfy beds, great air conditioning a very large bathroom and surprisingly super quiet. We were only in Rome two nights and yes this is the most... More

I have returned to stay at this hotel because it is centrally located. It is within walking distance of some great shops (L V) not forgetting the nearby attractions like the Spanish Steps, or the Trevi Fountain. It is not a modern hotel but ,I love all the marble and wood.It makes a pleasant change.

We booked a standard double room at the Grand hotel Plaza with a room cost €250 per night. The lobby felt like an airport with so many groups of people checking in and out. We entered our room and we felt an instant disappointment and at the same time a lot of anger! The room was dated (probably last refurbishment... More

This is the third time I stay at this hotel over the last three years. The hotel is centrally located, on Via Del Corso, giving you easy access to outstanding shopping. It is also located steps away from either the Trevi Fountain (currently under repairs) but more importantly to the Spanish Steps. What pleasure it is to stroll out at... More
