We stayed for the second time in this hotel in a very good position near Termini Central Station, where you can reach easily every attraction in Rome. The staff is gentle and helpful all the time, the room is little but clean and confortable. The best of the hotel is the panoramic terrace roof where we start the day with... More

We stayed at this hotel twice. The first was for 3 nights, we then went to Sorrento for two nights and then came back to Rome and stayed here again for 1 night. The staff were all very welcoming, friendly and helpful! When we needed maps, directions, advice and ideas on where to go they were all very accommodating. We... More

I was given this hotel as a mystery hotel and I was pleasantly surprised. It was easy to find and only about 200m from the Shuttle Bus drop off point at the terminal station. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was clean, tidy and spacious. The bed was huge and I usually wake up with a... More

I booked this hotel for my parents, who stayed in Rome last weekend. The staff was very welcoming, helpful and professional: this is not so common in Rome so I was happy that my parents got that kind of service. Rooms are very clean and tidy, double bed was comfortable and spacious. Great food for breakfast on the terrace.

Spent 4 nights here and loved this hotel. Location is great for arriving in Rome by train as it is just 5 minutes walk from Termini train station. Staff are extremely helpful and gave us good advice on local attractions, shops, bars, restaurants e.t.c. Wonderful breakfast with absolutely everything you could wish for, and has great views over the Roman... More

Great hotel, wonderful breakfast! Very friendly staff. The rooms were a bit small and the shower was leaking. A good price. Very clean which is always positive. Free WiFi. The only thing that was annoying about the WiFi was the fact that you needed to log in again all the time. It takes about 30/40 minutes to walk to the... More

I stayed at the Domus for seven nights in late June early July 2014. It is very conveniently located near the Termini Station having arrived at Fiumicino to then take the Express train to Termini. As a solo traveler, I use my hotel room to rest and sleep as I want to spend most of my time visiting the sites.... More

A very clean, friendly budget hotel minutes walk from Termini Station. Breakfast was good. Room very small, no drawers or room for clothes, we stayed 5 nights and basically lived out of our suitcase which wasnt what we expected so only suitable for 2/3 days stay. As a couple who are well travelled we didnt feel particulary safe out walking... More

The hotel is very close to Roma Termini train station. You can go anywhere by public transportation, but it's not a bad idea to walk. Every place in Rome is beautiful, not only the famous spots. The room was so small, I had difficulty to store a backpack! This must be a trend in Europe, but unfortunately you have to... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
