Staying at this hotel was a wonderful experience during our 4 day visit in Rome.It is located right in the heart of the city , a minute away from the Spanish steps and Piazza di Spagna(two of the most visited places in Rome). We booked a suite for our vacation and had a wonderful surprize in the room where we... more

At the top of The Spanish Steps, you'll find Hotel Internazionale, so the location is great. Everything is within walking distance. The building is old and very charming. Though an "overall" repair is needed as it looks pretty worn out. The place was very clean, our rom was large for a classic double room with a large bathroom and the... more

Stayed for 4 nights at the Hotel Internazionale and thought it was a perfect location. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast superb with a lot of choice, ie scrambled eggs, bacon, cereals, hams, cheeses, breads, pastries, fruit and also tea, coffee and orange juice. The hotel is about 100 yards from the top of the Spanish Steps.... more

We recently returned from a wonderful 3 week self drive holiday around Italy. My daughter booked all our hotels through recommendations on trip advisor, except for Hotel Internazionale(which was recommended by a family friend.) It was the worst experience we have ever had.Honestly we cannot understand how people are actually giving this place good reviews. Our pictures speak a thousand... more

Starting last August completed a first part of the work of renewal: the lobby, the bar, and half of the rooms. Actually, we are working for a complete restoration of all the rooms of our hotel: classic rooms, superior rooms and mach more a new gymnasium!! We are supposed to finish this works for the end of January 2009. We...

We stayed at the Hotel Internazionale for 4 nights and I wanted to put in a good word for this place. The staff was excellent and the service was great. Hotel Internazionale, Rome DATE: June 08 (4 night stay before our Mediterranean Cruise) REVIEWER: Olivia, San Jose, California My family and I stayed at this hotel in June of 08'. We had four rooms and each had it's own charm. Americans need to remember we are in Rome, the Romans do not sweat the small stuff. The rooms were clean,... more

I stayed here with my family over new years. The rooms were quite small for the price and a bit dark. Otherwise they were pleasant enough. The breakfast was excellent. The location is basically just above the Spanish Steps, meaning that it's right near the Villa Borghese Gardens, which is nice, but not that close to other points of interest.... more

Had a fantastic stay at Hotel Internazionale. The location was great just to the right of the hotel are the Spanish Steps. When we arrived we were greeted warmly and had a porter take our cases to our room. The building was very clean, well looked after and the staff very efficient. Our room was clean and the shower/toilet worked... more

Stayed here with a group of friends in October. I found the hotel somewhat dirty. Front desk was not at all helpful. My room was so small I had to crawl over my husband to get to my side of the bed....maybe 1 ft on either side to the wall. In the bathroom you could sit on the toilet and... more
