My friend & I stayed for two nights at the Relais Teatro Argentina. We had a spacious bedroom which was traditionally furnished with a modern shower-room & two very comfortable beds. Breakfast was served in our room (although I believe in the better weather there is a small garden balcony which is used for breakfast) & was delicious & plentiful.... More

My husband, son, and I stayed for three nights. The room was roomy and quite beautiful. Bathroom was updated with everything needed. In the morning, a lovely breakfast with hot cappuccinos were wheeled in. Great location. The best thing about the hotel, though, was the owner, Paolo, who went out of his way to help my husband find a battery... More

We couold waslk to every major location in Rome from this hotel within 5-30 minutes. It is right across the street from where historian believe Julius Ceasar was killed. There is a taxi stand also across the street. Vatican City is about 20 minutes walk. One Wed. night from about 10-12m there was loud Karaoke from a bar next door... More

Location is perfect with local bus stops and taxi stand across the main road, while the hotel itself is on a quiet lane. Taxi to Roma Termini Station was just EUR8 in each direction when we arrived and departed. We were able to walk to major sites like the Trevi Fountain and even to the Colosseum. Note that the hotel... More

The staff was consistently thoughtful and kind from the online reservation process through check out. Our room & bath were large by Italian standards, thoughtfully furnished and immaculate. The wood floors polished and coffered ceiling beautiful. Nice bedding. Breakfast of pastries, yogurt, fruit etc is served on tiny internal terrace or in room. There is no lift but staff brought... Picked the hotel based on a Rick Steves' recommendation in his Rome guidebook 2015. There is no elevator so you have to walk up and down 3-flights of stairs. A porter was available to help with luggage. On check-in they give you a key and instructions on how to open the gate at street level and how to access the... More

My wife and I stayed at the Relais Teatro Argentina on our Honeymoon. I spent considerable time looking for a boutique hotel in Rome and was extremely disappointed to find that, contrary to the description on their website, this is not a hotel - it is a large Rome apartment where the owners let out the rooms and where the... Perfect place for the weekend in Rome. Ideal localisation plus full comfort and very helpful staff. Place where you want to be again. Quiet hard to find the entrance as there is no any label or sign. First door on left on the Via del Sudario from the Largo di Torre Argentina

My husband and I stayed there for 4 nights. It was great in all aspects. The location is wonderful near Pantheon and Piazza Navona... Also there lots of great restaurant near it. We walked everywhere from the hotel. Staffs are really friendly and helpful with good advice. The room was big and clean. We need late check out and they... More

Good service, friendly, they helped us carry our too heavy bags up the stairs (no elevator - pack light for your Italian trip) . Room was spacious, high ceilings, good bed/mattress, good bathroom. Great location. Right in front of a bus station. Near one of the many Roman ruin sites) Good restaurants nearby. We were trying to find something cool... More

Staying in Navona / Pantheon / Campo de’ Fiori

Neighborhood Profile
Navona / Pantheon / Campo de’ Fiori
With three of Rome’s most beloved piazzas within a five-minute walk of each other, the Navona/Pantheon/Campo area may be the prettiest and most picturesque area of the city. Join the beautiful throngs hanging out in cafes, boutiques, art galleries, and wine bars, or peek at a neighborhood museum or monument. If you want nonstop movida, the streets here are busy with chic bicyclists and Vespa drivers, street vendors, merchants, and locals. There is no rhyme or reason to its winding streets and there's something to see around every corner, so take pleasure in a spontaneous wander.
