This is a comfortable hotel close to the Vatican in a quiet area. The hotel is a little overpriced and old fashioned. But not worst than your average Rome offer. The service a reception is alright, but doesn't offer consistency, as some of the staff are friendlier than other.

Room was clean and well appointed. Staff were attentive and helpful. Breakfast was generous and varied. Typical medium priced hotel situated near Castle sant'angelo and the Vatican and reasonable (6 blocks) walking distance from metropolitans.

We stayed at this hotel because of the location and the convenience of the parking lot. Very important to have parking in Rome. The room was so small that we could not open our luggage. The hotel smells of smoke all over. There is a beautiful terrace on the top floor that we could not enjoy because it is a... More

We booked this hotel because it had secure parking for our 2 Harley Davidson's, unfortunately the secure parking was full but the concierge put our bikes right outside the front door and turned a security camera on them for the 4 nights we were there, excellent. The room was unbelievable (room 16) large, cool, luxurious, stylish and extremely affordable. The... More

Rooms are old fashioned. Booked online but upon arrival receptionist said book direct for a cheaper deal. Decided to stay an extra night as there is so much to do in Rome and a different receptionist tried to charge us double. Then they made us pay for beer we didn't have from the minibar. Does have free parking though which... More

I stayed at this hotel with my sister in early June of this year. The location was so close to everything that we wanted to see in Rome, within walking distance for most attractions but in an area where you could get away from the crowds. The rooftop patio was a peaceful oasis and had a great view of the... More

I really liked this hotel because it was comfortable and clean and well-located. However, the bed in the single room was small (it was a twin, not a full) and the walls are thin (I heard the family next-door). However, my stay was good and the staff was very nice. A great place to explore the Vatican, Castel Sant'Angelo and... More

We arrived around midnight in a very nice Mercedes also arranged with the hotel (absolutely painless) We were welcomed and shown to the only unoccupied room in the hotel. We were perturbed to find a double bed. We had come to Rome for rugby weekend and I was sharing the room with a good friend but not that good! Fortunately... More

We were three couples travelling together and we gave the job of finding a hotel for three nights in Rome to one of our friends. Being the time of year and just a week after the canonisation of Popes, JP II and John XXIII, this was the only hotel he found with 3 rooms free on the same nights. On... More

Staying in Prati

Neighborhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the center, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighboring Borgo, Prati is a local favorite for its aesthetic organization and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
