The location could not be better for a weekend to visit The Vatican. It is just a short walk away with a wonderful view of the dome of St Peters from the lovely roof terrace. Our one small criticism is we feel they have missed a trick not serving drinks up there, you could take something from the minibar in your... More

Stayed two nights , steps at the front entrence with no lift, could be a problem for anyone with walking difficulties. Staff very helpful , rooms a nice size with lots of mirrors, cleaned everyday. nice rooftop with good view of the Vatican, lovely to sit there at night when its all lit up, with a glasses of wine. Stayed here for 2nights whilst in Rome with my Fiancé & 4 other members of our family. The room did have a very foul smell as we arrived but the receptionist took full care of us & sort the problem out straight away. All staff were very friendly & polite, the hotel on a whole was very clean & well... More

My wife and I rode our Harley–Davidson motorcycles from Aberdeen to Rome. Stayed here at the Archangelo for three nights. They really looked after us, as well as our bikes. They have off–road secure parking. It is a perfect location for visiting the many attractions of Rome, all within reasonable walking distance—even on hot summer days. Gino was very kind... More

We stayed here for 1 night with our 3 kids. Wanted to stay at hotel with local flavour and avoid the chain hotels while in Rome. The hotel was really old and dated. Bedding could stand to be updated, and the room was quite small. Rooftop patio was nice, but the pictures make it look closer to St. Peter's than... More

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The place was immaculate. The maids do a really good job. Breakfast was very good. Location within walking distance of Campo de Fiori, Piazza Navona, Trevi, the Vatican. Front desk was very helpful. Only complaint we had were the mattresses. They were like rocks. Hard to sleep on. Had an opportunity to speak... More

This is a comfortable hotel close to the Vatican in a quiet area. The hotel is a little overpriced and old fashioned. But not worst than your average Rome offer. The service a reception is alright, but doesn't offer consistency, as some of the staff are friendlier than other.

Room was clean and well appointed. Staff were attentive and helpful. Breakfast was generous and varied. Typical medium priced hotel situated near Castle sant'angelo and the Vatican and reasonable (6 blocks) walking distance from metropolitans.

We stayed at this hotel because of the location and the convenience of the parking lot. Very important to have parking in Rome. The room was so small that we could not open our luggage. The hotel smells of smoke all over. There is a beautiful terrace on the top floor that we could not enjoy because it is a... More

We booked this hotel because it had secure parking for our 2 Harley Davidson's, unfortunately the secure parking was full but the concierge put our bikes right outside the front door and turned a security camera on them for the 4 nights we were there, excellent. The room was unbelievable (room 16) large, cool, luxurious, stylish and extremely affordable. The... More

Staying in Prati

Neighborhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the center, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighboring Borgo, Prati is a local favorite for its aesthetic organization and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
