Located close to the Vatican, and a 8 minute walk from the metro station. Check in at 12 but room wasn't ready until 13:30 and even then it wasn't exceptional clean. From the outside the hotel looks very nice and traditional. Inside in the communal areas it looks quite grand but the room was a real disappointment. Very dated, grubby... More

The hotel is nice and close and central to most things in Rome. We were excited to sit on the roof top And view St. Peter's which you can be the photo has been photoshopped. While you can see St. Peter's it much further off. The rooms were nice and the staff were friendly

Stunning little boutique hotel, nice rooms, a little dated but large and comfortable, breakfast was good with a nice selection, 5 mins from vatican and within easy reach of all other sightseeing tours. reception was friendly and very helpful telling us where to go and what to see. lovely rooftop terrace with views of the vatica, take your own bottle... This is quite a smart hotel within easy walking distance to The Vatican & Castel St Angelo. The other main Rome attractions are also easy to get to within a gentle hour's stroll to the Arcibasilica di San Giovanni. The room was very nice and the bed comfortable. They have a good roof terrace which is great for sitting out... More

The location could not be better for a weekend to visit The Vatican. It is just a short walk away with a wonderful view of the dome of St Peters from the lovely roof terrace. Our one small criticism is we feel they have missed a trick not serving drinks up there, you could take something from the minibar in your... More

Stayed here for 2nights whilst in Rome with my Fiancé & 4 other members of our family. The room did have a very foul smell as we arrived but the receptionist took full care of us & sort the problem out straight away. All staff were very friendly & polite, the hotel on a whole was very clean & well... More

My wife and I rode our Harley–Davidson motorcycles from Aberdeen to Rome. Stayed here at the Archangelo for three nights. They really looked after us, as well as our bikes. They have off–road secure parking. It is a perfect location for visiting the many attractions of Rome, all within reasonable walking distance—even on hot summer days. Gino was very kind... More

We stayed here for 1 night with our 3 kids. Wanted to stay at hotel with local flavour and avoid the chain hotels while in Rome. The hotel was really old and dated. Bedding could stand to be updated, and the room was quite small. Rooftop patio was nice, but the pictures make it look closer to St. Peter's than... More

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The place was immaculate. The maids do a really good job. Breakfast was very good. Location within walking distance of Campo de Fiori, Piazza Navona, Trevi, the Vatican. Front desk was very helpful. Only complaint we had were the mattresses. They were like rocks. Hard to sleep on. Had an opportunity to speak... More

Staying in Prati

Neighborhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the center, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighboring Borgo, Prati is a local favorite for its aesthetic organization and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
