We booked this hotel for the very reasonable price of £69 per night ( look around for special offers.) You will be hard pressed to find even a one star hotel for this price anywhere else as it's an expensive city. If you are expecting four star luxury then this is not the hotel for you. However, if you are... more

We ended up at this hotel after an online booking agency left us in the lurch by booking us into a place that was already full. I was initially skeptical as the trip advisor reviews were very mixed, but we found it perfectly adequate. The staff were very friendly and helpful (maybe we had different staff to what other reviewers... more

To call this a 4 star hotel is a joke. The service (or lack of it), rooms and breakfast are all average at best. The location isn't convinient for anything except the tourist trap of Via Veneto which is still a 15 minute walk alongside a busy road. My laundry was returned wet. The website says that internet access is... more

This was a surprise trip so couldn't look up the reviews beforehand. It is rated 4* but should be a 2/3*. The staff are not very friendly and look grim most of the time. The room was extremely small but was clean. We overlooked a building site and it was noisy. Had it been a fairly cheap trip we wouldn't... more

Well I was worried about this hotel after reading the reviews as this trip was our Honeymoon. Yes the hotel, rooms & Lift are small BUT it is in a traditional Roman building and those of you who have travelled through Europe before know that these building are normally tall and thin. The service here was excellent and they did... more

We stayed at the Executive hotel this week. We booked with a travel agent and then read the reviews, we were very worried we had made a bad choice. The hotel is out of the city centre a bit but there is a good bus service in.1 euro for a ticket , if you are brave, one ticket would do you... more

My first visit to Rome, wonderful city and hotel Executive didn't ruin my stay. I managed to make the best of it. First, the hotel is quite far from all atractions (except Villa Borghese). Second, on our arrival, the receptionist told us we had no room for that day because some american tourists decided to stay one more day and... more

Major building construction works next door! Very (very) small rooms. If you insist, take room 207, at least it's got a reasonable balcony. The flip side of the medal, there are some decent restaurants in the Salaria area. And the Galleria Borghese (10 min walk) is an absolute must!! more

The Executive sadly did not live up to our expectations. Our room was very bland and dark with no view. It overlooked the hotel bar making it extremely noisy at night. The facilities were basic but without doubt the worst aspect of Hotel Executive was the very unhelpful and unfriendly staff. On our last morning we asked for a taxi... more
