My wife and I just got back today from one of the worst hotels i have ever stayed at. Unfortunately my travel agent booked it and I looked at the reviews only a week before our stay. It is supposed to be a 4 star hotel, I would say 1 star is over rating the hotel. As previous reviewers have... More

The exterior and lobby looked good, however the room was basic and definitely not worthy of four stars. Breakfast was very simple, consisting of cereals, bread rolls and ham. The hotel is about a 20 minute walk from the main station (termini).

Thé room was quiet small, but ok. However there was a strange smell when we arrived, but we solved it with open window and switch on ac. It was a nice European breakfast. The hotel was easy to find from central station.

Of course it all depends on your standards, but I think I have never stayed in a such disaster hotel like this. The smell in the whole house reminds you an elderly house/hospital and is far from the scent of clean and fresh welcome. The curtains a barely hanging and ripped. The stearways are so dirty and smelly that it... More

I booked this hotel through lastminute.com secret hotels, once booked I was given the name of the hotel and I used trip advisor to look at the reviews. I was so worried as the reviews are really bad but the hotel was actually ok, breakfast was nice and staff are very helpful and friendly. The Room - We were in... More

I made the mistake of reading reviews after booking this hotel through Hotwire. After reading do many bad reviews, I grew very anxious but was pleasantly surprised with the room. My husband and I went with another couple. Our room was huge while there's was tiny. Both rooms were clean and quiet and neither room smelled bad. We stayed on... More

The hotel was run down- and disgusting. I feel bad for the staff, they were very friendly and helpful, but the owners must be awful because this hotel needs to be upgraded. We had to switch rooms the first night, the toilet was broke and the room was a mess with stains everywhere, and broken cabinets and no outlets. The... More

The hotel is in a decent position to visit the main attractions, with some walking, which we enjoyed. The place could do with a refurbishment and general clean and tidy to get rid of the awful smell in the corridors outside the rooms. The breakfast was nice enough to set you up for a day's sight seeing. We went as... More

Average cheap room. Very nice staff. Exceedngly mildewy and smelly showers with poor drainage. In fact, the collective smell of mildew strikes you as you step off the elevator. Wi-fi available only in the lobby and decent enough for streaming media.

We've just returned from a very pleasurable long weekend in Rome where we stayed at the hotel Exective. The hotel is situated a fair distance from the centre, just outside the old city walls and is up hill. It's a relatively pleasant walk into the centre and not too far from the Spanish Steps etc but is a good 45... More
