We stayed here for a weekend in feb 2015. Hotel was clean and breakfast was a buffet Mediterranean style. We walked from hotel in and around rome center. Maybe if you don't like walking it may be Abit far away from the center. We can't fault it for the price.

A very basic hotel, definitely NOT 4 stars, room decor was a bit tired, and the ceiling showed signs of water staining from a roof leak, the lamp shades were burnt and the 14 inch tv was terrible. No shower curtain mean the bathroom floor was constantly flooded and the door frame was rotting due to the continual soaking. Air... More

My girlfriend and I have just returned from our first week in rome which we stayed in the "4 star" executive hotel. A few things missing from this hotel which you would normally find in a four star hotel. 1) Wall sockets that work. 2) any sort of tea/coffee making facilities. 3) an iron and/or ironing board. 4) walls that... I hope I could rate it at minus but it's not possible, here it is: 1- The man behind the counter was really unfriendly and don't care about your satisfaction! 2- really tiny and slow elevator, 3- terrible smell in the room 4- really poor breakfast, just basics 5- ruuuuuuuude staff 6- crazy shower with no hanger to hang it... Un welcome staff. Tiny lift. Smelly corridor reading to even worse smelling room. Stained floors. Mouldy bathroom. Cracked and stained walls. Crooked lamp. Dusty sides and curtains. Hard as a rock bed. No atmosphere. The bar was a shelf next to the reception. Breakfast was bland and awkward sat so close to other annoyed, I welcomed guests. There were a... More

Although our trip wasn't recently..I'm quite surprised at the reviews..We really liked the area with it's great pizza restaurants nearby massive supermarket up the street. ( which had a rapid wine chiller) lovely shoe shop next street massive posh dept store behind which which was a bit like Harvey Nicks. Bus stop opposite with one every few minutes down to... More

Upon arrival at airport in Rome, my transportation gave me my papers including hotel information, reserved tours etc. The enveloppe however had a different hotel name than I had requested and was told it had been overbooked. I was told the Executive was an equivalent 4 star and even better than what I had wanted.Untrue - Instead of being in... More

The rooms are cheap but certainly not 4*. The breakfast was lovely although fruit isn't fresh and it's best to arrive early to avoid getting the burnt leftover pastries. It's a good 15 to 20 main walk to the nearest metro or the Spanish steps, but the location is great for visiting the Borghese gardens and galleria (We wouldn't have... More
