I went there in September last year and I must say this hotel is awesome! The location is great, the rooms are clean and comfortable, the people working at the front desk are truly there for you to enjoy your time. The hotel is located within walking distance to Termini train station which makes it really easy for people who... More

My daughter stayed here March 16 and found the accommodations to be excellent and the staff extremely helpful. When she lost a precious necklace, they helped look around the hotel for it. When she needed to get to the train station, they gave her a ride. In general, they looked out for her and took care of her. We would... More

Very disappointed with this hotel. Saw the ratings and reviews on trip advisor and thought it was a nice standard hotel. While the hotel was clean that's where the positives end. Location - close to train and metro stop. While this is usually a good thing. It was a half hour walk to city center and not the best part... More

I hate to compete with "Captain Obvious", but it bears mentioning there are two (2) TRAIN STATIONS in Rome. Tiburtina Station in north-east Rome is where our high speed train arrived, and the taxi fare was a reasonable 10 euro with bags. It was rather ironic to drive past the Termini Station on the way to our hotel (booked by... More

Stayed here in January with my beautiful wife, what an amazing place it was, very clean, rooms cleaned and bed made every day. Breakfast was buffet style and was of a good quality. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

It is not like staying in a hotel but apartment. The room is very big and Italian style. You need to share bathroom with another two room. There is only one bathroom on my floor but it is very small size.

Stayed here twice. Within walking distance of Termini and bus station, if, you don't have a lot of luggage to drag. Worth a taxi if lots of luggage. A little difficult getting luggage in and out of storage room before room was ready. Rooms are clean and comfortable, as are bathrooms. Lift is small, one person and their luggage at... More

This was my first stay in a hostel and I hesitated before making my booking. However, they were very quick to answer to all the questions I had via email. Arrived at the hostel and was able to check-in painlessly. Very close to Termini and Castro Pretorio station. Do not be offput by the staff, Italians are not known for... More

We don't have a lot of negative points to say about this hostel. The staff was friendly and helpful. When there was a problem, they immediately solved it. The rooms were clean, although the bathrooms should be cleaned more often. The breakfast was a nice treat and fulfilling. The wifi was a nice extra. The hostel had a good location... More

This old-fashioned hotel could be a good alternative if you do not require to much to be happy. Good bedroom for a nice sleep. The old infrastructure could be revitalized. I spent only one night in the hotel, during a a fast connection on a business trip. 5 blocks from Termini Stazioni made my access easy to entire city. The... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
