Great location, clean comfortable rooms with air. We enjoyed nightly gelato on the nice roof top terrace. Train station only a few blocks away. Breakfast was adequate. The front desk was helpful with all inquiries. The lift was a nice bonus with heavy luggage. The location was great with a Metro stop, ATM, grocery store, pharmacy and laundromat all right... More

We stayed here for our first trip to Rome. The location we found were able to walk everywhere. When needed we used the Public transport. But walked most of the time. There is a wonderful pizza place around the corner called Radicchio & Pommodoro BEST PIZZZA YUMM! The room offered a doublt bed, the room was very clean, with a... More

Was transferred to this hotel for one night only. Rooms are quite spacious, although are not representative of the promotional picture shown of the room. There are no soft furnishings at all, just a single chair at a desk. The beds were dressed with just white sheets, no other covers, throws, which would have made them look a lot better.... More

We stayed with a group of 30 people in Hostel des Artistes. Great location near Termini, good service and communication with the reception and great breakfast buffet. Clean rooms and (shared) bathrooms. Would definitely recommend booking this hotel!

We stayed here for 3 nights. Staff were friendly and helpful. Brought our bags to our room and didn't want anything in return, I had to insist he take a tip after carrying my wife's 30kg bag up there (told the wife I wasn't doing it for free). Hotel itself is somewhat dated, however I think this is part of... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
