The location was great. Within walking distance of Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, some of the Piazzas, Pantheon, and other attractions. Not a long drive to St Peters Basilica and Sistine Chapel, along with the Colosseum. Very good location. Samson, one of the bellmen, was great. We arrived at the hotel way before check-in time and he took control of our... More

We stayed 2 nights in the Hotel Anglo Americano in Rome and I am really struggling to find something good to say about this Hotel - perhaps the colour scheme was nice. The bed was hard like a slab and the pillow was flat and rubbery. The bathroom was big but the shower was so small that my husband who... More

Stayed four nights in a triple. Room was fine and staff at front desk generally helpful. However, the WiFi charges are a bit ridiculous. You can purchase two hours for one euro but it only works on one device and you have to go back and purchase more. They have a 24 hour option but it is something like 5... More

Stayed 4 nights on business in June. I was worried about the air con having read previous reviews on here but I had no problems, you can't adjust the temperature but it is set to 22 degrees c and you can change it from low, to high, to double high. It kept my room lovely and cool. Room was small,... More

The front desk staff are extremely cheerful but not particularly helpful. The elderly gentleman in the evenings was especially uncooperative. He wanted 15-20 minutes to photocopy our passports, but wanted us to come down and collect them from him later. He "didn't have staff", so they could not be delivered to our room. The room itself was tiny. Once we... More

The location of this hotel was great - walking distance to the Spanish Steps and the Trevi fountain, the Capuchin Crypt and other sites nearby (Borghese Villa, and others). The hotel itself was unimpressive - shabby breakfast area, completely unfriendly front desk staff, very hard uncomfortable beds. You had to pay for wifi by the hour and make sure you... More

Front Desk Supervisor was not particularly friendly. The Hotel Staff failed to clean our room the second day we were there. The beds were ridiculously uncomfortable. They charged for wifi and the wifi was sketching. Breakfast facilities were inadequate for the amount of people in the hotel and not particularly good. Kind of a bummer all the way around.

My wife and I stayed here for four nights an it was great our room was huge six meters X six meters very clean and a good size bathroom, one of my criteria is good hot water pressure and I had it. They change the linen and towels everyday. The breakfast was typical of a European breakfast, they have a... More

This hotel is in a good location but it is tired and needs a makeover. SAS Airlines lost my husbands suitcase and one of the gentleman receptionists was very helpful, but the other didn't want to know when we were trying to get information on the lost luggage. Especially when we were hampered with a language barrier. There is a... More

The hotel is past its old glory. While the location is good it does not make up for the lack of amenities, poor service and small rooms. Even the wifi is paid, which is not the standard of service anymore.

Staying in Trevi

Neighborhood Profile
Trevi
A non-stop photo and souvenir opportunity, Trevi is all about action. From early morning through the wee hours, the piazza surrounding Trevi Fountain hosts a never-ending flow of tourists hoping to make a wish or take a selfie. Clever restaurants, charming gelaterias, uncanny bars, kitsch shops, and a range of hotels make up the local landscape. Beneath the bustle are the remains of an ancient neighborhood that you can visit by heading over to a repertoire cinema and asking for a peek underground. There is something for everyone, but if peace and quiet are what you seek, plan to visit in the early morning hours.
