Stayed at the Hotel Anglo-Americano for four nights in March 2014. Stay proved excellent from start to finish and we were very happy with our choice of hotel. Location: The hotel is just round the corner from Piazza Barberini and is surrounded by restaurants and cafeterias. It is also within walking distance from all major attractions (most notably Trevi Fountain... More

I stayed for 7 days, and found the location to be perfect. Close to Trevi and Spanish Steps, and shopping. Train station is around the corner, and this will easily get you anywhere you need to go. Hotel room was very small, and hot, I didn't bother complaining about the air con not working, as it was cold outside, but... More

Very bad attitude, when I asked how come it so hot and the air condition is not working, I got a story like I'm stupid that never visit other hotels in Rome, I came for business and it was the first time I had to pay for internet access and not only the level of the internet quality was really... Very friendly staff and didn't mind location, very close to Trevi Fountain. The roo was really small felt like we were staying in a cheap NYC hotel (guess that's where the Americano comes in). Shower cubicle was tiny, difficult to get in and no space to bend. On 2 occasions we had early morning starts and hotel couldn't even supply... More

We stayed at anglo americano for three nights in March. The room was clean ,not too spacey or very crowded but every room in the hotel is different. Walls must be thin .too much noise from corridors and tv and shower of next room. Room offers shampoo ,shower gel, dental kit, shower caps, sleepers, a safe, hairdryer,tv Breakfast has eggs, scrabbled... More

Work related stay, only required bed and breakfast, room was cosy, lifts are slow, breakfast is great with a dedicated coffee dock, however a limit of two coffees per person. Wifi is poor, not at speed that I am used to. Overall, it was fine, could do with a gym.

I stayed in Hotel Anglo Americano with my sister and friends for 2 nights, March 12-14, 2014. The best thing about this hotel is the location and the large elevator. It is a 5-10 minues walk from the Spanish Steps and it has many great cafes near it. However I was disappointed with the hotel lobby and breakfast and the... More

Loved the location of this hotel. Right by the Piazza Barberini. There was a lot of traffic out the window though. The wifi you had to pay for- not like our other hotels we stayed during our trip to Italy. And…It dint work very well! The morning breakfast was so-so. Great coffee. There was a great snack/bar on corner called... More
