Stayed at the Anglo Americano for 2 nights in April '12 with my girlfriend as part of a 5-night stay in Italy. The hotel was overbooked as we discovered upon considering extending our stay here and I wasn't all that surprised as certainly a lovely hotel, recently refurbished, as we had read, and looked it. Very 'white', clean and spotless,... More

Only the Italians know why it is rated a 4 stars hotel. By international standarts it is a 3 stars hotel. Great location. Clean. Resonable room. Comfortable bed. Good complementary breakfast. terible antipatic nervus unpatient unhelpful sour face guy in the front desk every morning but charming helpfull guys at the afternoon and night shifts. try the hostaria romana restaurant... A great location not 5 mins from the Spanish Steps and close to some of the most exclusive (and expensive) shops on the planet - if that's what pushes your buttons. The service, rooms and general experience of the hotel was more than satisfactory. The decor and interior design is interesting - an eclectic jumble of classical and postmodern, but... More

I read some of the negative reviews on this hotel, and was a bit apprehensive, since we had this hotel chosen for us by a tour packager. We were very pleasantly surprised, nice, airy room, modern bathroom, friendly hotel front desk that would make calls, etc. for us. We were 1/2 block from the Triton Fountain, a few steps to... More

This is an excellent Hotel. My husband and I stayed here for two nights in April, 2012. The Hotel is in excellent condition and classily decorated. Our room was large, bright, airy and in first class condition, with a double and a single bed. Extra blankets were available if needed too. There was plenty of hanging space for clothes and... More

Extremely comfortable accommodations at Hotel Anglo Americano. We arrived after an easy commute from the airport via Termini. We were welcomed by a friendly, helpful staff and settled in to a quiet, modern room. Great location near Metro, food, shopping and landmarks. The icing on the cake was waking up to a great shower and a delicious breakfast. The only... More

I had a perfectly reasonable stay at this hotel. Location is central, rooms are clean, staff are efficient and friendly. However, this hotel is not four star and whoever gave it four stars I assume is driving around in a nice car. Why do I say this? The breakfast is average, the wifi is confused (you have to go to... What a great trip! I just visited in early March and was very happy with the accommodations. It's a great location, friendly staff, and nice modern rooms. It was a quick trip from the airport, easy to find after strolling the windy streets all day, and comfortable quiet rooms. The staff was very gracious and helpful with all questions, directions,... The hotel is OK. But the service is terrible. The man at the front desk is rude and unhelpful. Not just to us; we listened as we sat in the lobby and his comments to other guests and his directions are exceedingly useless. He sent us on a wild goose chase and it was only after we stoppped in 3... More
