This hotel is situated in wonderful place of Rome, close to Barberini square, close to Spanish steps, to Trevi.... You can explore Rome by step beginning from the hotel - almost everything is rather close. Even to Trastevery I've walked by feet. Also, it's a nice, helpful staff, very good breakfast here. I would strongly reccomend for any type of... More

Excellent location. Breakfast is average. Attitude to guests at the reception range from reasonable to impatient. Relatively small rooms but reasonable. Be careful not to get a room on the ground floor - a depressing room facing a wall that blocks any possibility of view.

The hotel is very well positioned close to attractions like the Trevi fountian and the Spanish steps and all the many other places one wishes to see in Rome. All of these are within walking distance and most helpful. The hotel staff very friendly. The rooms we received, on the 6th floor were very big but be aware of the... More

I stayed at this hotel during my recent visit to Rome for 1 night, then went on a tour and returned for 3 nights. I left for the tour at 7:00 am and was told that I could get a quick breakfast at 6:45 am, however this did not pan out and on the additional nights the breakfast was extremely... More

Not the greatest hotel, but it is very central to everything, the concierge was great!! A lot of restaurants close by and only a short walk to the metro and to the tour bus stops! The room we had backed onto a little ally way, if you are a bigger person the shower is extremely small (my partner as wide... More

We went to Rome in September 2014 and on a recommendation booked the Anglo Americano Hotel near Piazza Barbarini. The Hotel is in a central location and only 50 metres from a 24 hr taxi rank, very handy. We had a room with windows to the street but be warned, do not stay in rooms without windows to the street... We stayed in this 4-star hotel for a whole week, and it turned to be an excellent choice. The hotel was recently renovated and our room on the 6th floor was comfortable, with plenty of space and generously equipped. Breakfasts were crowded but plenty and tasty, offering an excellent choice of outstanding fresh coffee, as well as tea and juices.... More

This place is fabulous. Look it's not perfect but it's in the centre of Rome and the location is great but it's the staff that make it a good place to stay. The rooms are a great size. TV is large and the bathroom was great. We have had a ground floor room and a 3rd floor room and we... More
