Stayed two nights at this hotel after coming off a cruise. Location was great with walking distance to tourist attractions, local restaurants and sightseeing bus routes. Room was clean, a reasonable size and quiet however air-conditioning was not working to its full capacity therefore only minimal cooling in the heart of the summer heat which was reported but never fixed.... First impression was negatively from the time we walked in to check in. Older Italian gent at reception was rude and unhelpful. Service was poor. We had issues with room key card and had I go down to get it changed and same staff member said there was nothing wrong the key and said that he would send a colleague... More

Stayed here recently and found everything acceptable. Location is perfect for transport links, including most routes used by sightseeing buses, which is useful if you have a hop-on, hop-off ticket and highly recommended. Room was spacious, clean and benefitted from Air Conditioning. View wasn't great but being at the rear meant there was little noise and gave a good night's... More

This is our second stay at Hotel Anglo Americano while travelling to Rome and I would recommend it to anyone visiting this beautiful eternal city. We were a group of four and shared a one room hotel room for our short stay. Even though we had an early morning check out time of 6.30am for our onward flight, the staff... More

Just back from a break in Rome and stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. As previously stated the location is excellent! Cant be faulted-minutes from the Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps. Breakfast was plentiful on ok-did not feel that the rooms warrented the four stars-they were just average-really plain with not a lot to recommend. Staff were very... More

Hotel was centrally located only one block from metro. Rooms were clean and roomy. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was plentiful, and the breakfast rooms were very nice Would definitely stay again.

Arrived at 2000 at hotel to check in. Lobby had one person on desk. Was told to wait and shown to the seats in the breakfast area. Others came during this time for information (not to check in) they were served before we were called. After 26hrs of travelling this was an annoying start to the holiday. Was given room... More

Hotel - Just come back on Tuesday from our stay here, and it is in a brilliant location. Trevi fountain is just a 5-10 minute walk one way, the Spanish steps are about the same distance up another road, and the Colosseum which we walked to also took us about half an hour (we were walking slow though). Breakfast at... More

Stayed here with my brother this weekend just gone. Great location, really central to everything so you can walk basically everywhere and if you want to go to the Vatican you can get the tube from just outside the hotel in the square. The room was an okay size for a few days, (might be a bit small for a... More
