I picked hotel quickly as I was given some leave. The hotel rooms are beautiful and well appointed. All the staff I encountered were friendly and helpful. The cost was only 46 euros as I was travelling in January and this included breakfast. The best surprise was the breakfast. Absolutely everything you could hope for including the price. I only have... More

In fairness we arrived rather frazzled from London. It was gone midnight and we had had a horrendous arrival in Rome some six hours before. A fault at Terminal Five LHR meant no one arriving with BA in Rome that evening got any of their luggage. Along with hundreds of passengers we were made to queue at Customer Services for... More

Friendly hotel staff, especially the reception staff. Nothing was too much trouble to them. Right in the heart of Rome itself and near all the amenities. Would definitely go back again. Great for the sight seeing.

As everyone has said the location is perfect and the service is even better! Great clean room and the staff are super helpful. Nothing was too much trouble, even at 1am and my husband needed a pharmacy. Definitely would go again. Plus the gelato shop across the road is amazing

I stayed for a night at this hotel. It has great reviews and a reasonable price, considering you're in Rome. It is in the close proximity of the metro and Termini railway/metro station therefore excellent from a logistical point of view. Interios are decoured in typical and fashionable italian style however the matress is rather rigid and you can sense... More

This hotel is excellently located an easy walk from the train station loaded down with bags, and a nice walk to the Spanish Steps and the Colloseum. We stayed for 3 nights and the rooms were very clean and the size of the room we had was nice sized with a large comfortable bed and great street views. The staff... More

Perfectly situated 3* hotel. Rooms are en-suite, very clean & comfortable. Breakfast room is small but adequate. Fantastic value for money. Staff are really friendly and very helpful. They booked us a table in a local restaurant on our first night so we didn't have to walk the streets looking for somewhere. They marked all the points/places of interest on... More

We were very surprised to find the reception tucked in a corner of the lobby. The receptionist, Mario was extremely helpful in recommending places to see (for such a short visit) and restaurants in various areas. The room was quite small, as are most rooms in Rome catering to the budget traveller. We have a street view, which was nice.... More

Everything in Rome is just 10 to 15 minutes walk from hotel Miami: colloseum, trevi, spagna...even the train station and the metro station on the Reublic square. Maria and Mario are willing and able to assist in anything a guest can need. Warmest recommendations for hotel Miami

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
