I stay in this hotel with my family last year. The room is very small. It barely fits the bed and the TV. The mattress is probably there since its opening. You could see the “U” format of all bodies that rested in that bed. The bathroom was clean, but very small and there was no curtains to separate the... more

As mentioned this hotel is in dire need of a refurbishment. It was clean-ish but there are marks all over the walls and the rooms are old and mine was small. My TV remote control was bigger than the TV (nearly). My room could have been in a nuns convent. The lobby has masking tape covering wires that have been... more

I booked this hotel through their own web site. It was listed as a 4-star hotel. NOT EVEN CLOSE! The room was small and run-down, as a matter of fact the whole hotel was run down. There was a small window in the room which overlooked the exhaust system of the restaurant next door. There were hairs in the sink,... more

Booked on easyhotels. Took my Mom for a short getaway. Sure, if you want to pay a fortune for a street view, go ahead. However, ifyou want a clean place, at a decent price, with nice staff, this works. Very walkable...and, near the northern parts of Rome, where you can get away from all the tacky touristy crowds. Nearby restaurants,... more

The Hotel is in what looks like a back street but the location is wonderful - 3 mins to the Trevi Fountain, 5 mins to the Pantheon and all the lovely little streets to explore. We booked through Easyjet and got a good deal (3 nights for 2), but I must admit I had a look on this site and... more

My friend and I stayed at this hotel this week, for three nights. It is a small hotel based centrally for the Trevi fountain and Spanish Steps. We arrived early and the room was ready. The room itself was small but quite adequate for our needs, tea and coffee making facilites in the room, would have been appreciated, however there... more

Rooms small - prebooked 6 months but still allocated smallest room. Clean but service poor - towels like paper. Location very central for sight seeing and quiet but in a filthy backstreet. No corporate or civic pride - a nearby public drinking fountain surrounded by old rubbish and cigarette ends. Locked iron shutters ouside the bedroom window and no fire... more

We have just returned from a three night break in Rome and stayed at the Hotel Memphis. It is advertised as a 4 star hotel and so we expected good standard which was certainly lacking. The rooms are small and dark with bathrooms which would not be out of place in a YMCA. There weren't even proper towels provided when... more

A place of contrasts but doesn't that apply to Italy, if not Rome itself. Great location - Trevi, Spanish Steps and don't forget Via Vento. Handy for the Metro, bus routes and numerous eating places from cheap pizzerias through interesting trattorias - and that's not to mention the ice cream! The price of being away from a main road is... more
