And a lot of other things. Not sure it deserves it's 4* rating. It reminded me more of a 3*. The location is hidden away round the corner of a somewhat dingy looking alleyway. Our room was tiny. So tiny you can hardly walk around the other side of the bed without barging into the wall. Decorated pretty basic too.... More

A basic hotel in the heart of Rome very clean neat hotel. Continental breakfast was adequate with the usual choices croissants toast fruit & Danish & coffee. The hotel is very close to the Trevi fountain Spanish steps and some great restuarants & shops. Wifi isn't great here very slow & doesn't always work so can be frustrating. I would... More

This hotel was only 5 minutes from the Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps and very convenient for restaurants and cafes. The rooms were basic and clean and breakfast was fine. The dining room was small but there were enough spaces. No wifi.

Okay peeps, here is the scoop on the Memphis Hotel in Italy from experienced travelers. First, it is an amazing deal for the price, its location is perfect for budget minded travelers. You are within walking distance to the Trevi fountain and Spanish Steps. You could walk most places, but above those two locations we chose a cab. It was... More

We enjoyed this hotel the location was outstanding for visiting all the tourist attractions. The staff was pleasant but their English was strained. The continental breakfast was quite good and offered a lot of options. Although free wifi is readily available everywhere in Rome the wifi at this hotel was very frustrating. It dropped off all the time and we... More

This is a nice little boutique hotel in an excellent location. A small basic room witth no frills at a fair price. Very close to the Barberini metro station an an easy walk to the Trevi Fountain and Pantheon. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The only downside was the really spotty wifi. That drove me a l bit... More

This hotel was clean and had all the basics. It was in a good location. The wifi is really spotty though. Would stay here again. It has just the basics. But the bathrooms looked to have been upgraded which was nice. We had a room with a balcony which was nice because it was really hot in the room. We... More

We stayed at the Hotel Memphis in the Trevi area of Rome since it was small, well located, reasonable in price, and appeared to be minimalist in decor. I have allergies and did not want to stay in a heavily carpeted and draped room. While not newly decorated, it was pleasantly minimal, adequate room size, very clean, with a very... More

An hotel with a great location in Rome, as most attractions are within walking distance. Attractions further away can be reached using the Metro with a station very close by. The rooms in this hotel are small and not as portrayed on the hotel website. Rooms at the front of the hotel also suffer with noise from the street below.... More

This hotel was a disappointment. The location is probably the only good thing about it. It is less than 10 minutes walk from the Fontana di Trevi, close to the metro. There are many restaurants around. However it is located in a very small street and difficult to find. My room was extremely small, to the point I didn't have... More

Staying in Trevi

Neighborhood Profile
Trevi
A non-stop photo and souvenir opportunity, Trevi is all about action. From early morning through the wee hours, the piazza surrounding Trevi Fountain hosts a never-ending flow of tourists hoping to make a wish or take a selfie. Clever restaurants, charming gelaterias, uncanny bars, kitsch shops, and a range of hotels make up the local landscape. Beneath the bustle are the remains of an ancient neighborhood that you can visit by heading over to a repertoire cinema and asking for a peek underground. There is something for everyone, but if peace and quiet are what you seek, plan to visit in the early morning hours.
