Have recently returned from a 5 day trip to Rome and this hotel did not meet my expectation of a 4* hotel...not by a long way! The room was clean but basic, the staff were ok but didn't go out of their way to make you feel comfortable (except for the restaurant staff in the evening, they were very attentive)... More

The hotel is a modern building well out of Rome, about 45 minute using a bus and them metro, however we did not find this to be a problem as we had 7 day tickets for the public transport, we went in and out of Rome twice each day (sight seeing and then in evening for dinner) The room was... More

We stayed in Cristoforo Colombo for two nights. We got a good deal through ebookers and had a discount of nearly 70%, so it certainly was good value for money. However, the first disappointment came when the hotel charged me 100 euros too much - they corrected it later, when I asked about it in person, but they never answered... More

Stayed for 8 days booked with Trivago got a very good deal. Have been to hundreds of places all around the world Rome is the place to go. Hotel great and restaurant good Fabio worked on this and he's the barman to see making his speciality cocktails not only alchoholic but fruit ones for the kids they were gazing at... More

Had a great stay here. The room was more spacious than expected. There were 4 of us & we had enough space. It was clean and included safe, TV (no English speaking channels, but we weren't in Rome to watch TV!), hairdryer etc. The breakfast buffet was fantastic, with a range of rolls, cereal, yoghurt, ham, salami & cheese. The... More

I booked this hotel for the following reasons, it was 4*, it had a pool, all rooms have a balcony and it has internet. Firstly it is not a 4* hotel, our room was ok but under the bed was filthy with dust and fluff everywhere. The edge of the shower curtain was black. When I opened the metal shutter which... More

I stayed at the Cristoforo Colombo Hotel for two weeks this month and have to say I was disappointed. Firstly, out sheets were changed once in two weeks despite asking, and the time they were changed (day 10) was because we had spilt orange juice all over them. The maids left all the glasses in the room and rarely emptied... More

This hotel is really far from reaching the category boasting. Hotel is a half at most, that we paid. Not close to the metro, which is not suitable if you got no car. The breakfast leaves a lot to be desired for the money paided, can not be that disposable plastic cups are to set an example, Wi-Fi is expensive... More

This hotel might be ok for a budget accommodation, if it offered budget rates! It is extremely over-rated, far from 4 stars. Rooms are old, never renovated I'd say, with marks all over the walls, bed duvet old and consumed, and breakfast just barely ok....not for a 4 stars hotel. Also beware of hotel raising prices in busy weeks. I... More
