Two of us, mother and daughter, on our first trip to Rome. We chose hotel Giada for monetary reasons and booked six nights. On check in we asked for a balcony and were able to have one which made the whole stay for me, as a smoker, very pleasant. The location was a dream, so convenient for all transport links... More

This is the worst hotel ever and undeserving of any stars let alone 3. The walls were filthy complete wih shoe imprints on them.Radiator broken and dated. Shower grouting filthy, tiles cracked and soap holder rusty and broken.Toilet at such an angle that an average sized person has to sit sideways on? Mattress had seen better days and bed made... We stayed here from 12/8 - 12/12 - The worst hotel I've ever been to. Prices are so huge for this type of hotel and I don't know how they can allow that hotel 3 stars. Anyway - Location is good for exploring Rome, but there are many other hotels in this area. Walls are dirty, breakfast IS NOT continental... More

Located next to termini train station, a best location for exploring rome with Minimum budget for hotel stay. All the sight seeing buses and airport shuttles are 5 minutes walk. Metro station is 3 minute walk. No In room Wifi, the same is available only in lobby. Delicious complementary breakfast with coffee available every morning. Rooms are Ok but little... More

My friend and I booked this hotel because we planned a last minute trip to Rome and it was the cheapest available (Still at 250 eur for 2 nights). It was extremely close to the train station, which is what we wanted. When we arrived it took about 20 min until the receptionist came to the desk to check us... More

Its a nice hotel if you are not staying in the hotel all the day. I went their for 2 nights (16 and 17 september). I go out at 7am and return at 10pm. About 2 minutes walk to the main Termini Station and to Maria Maggiore church ==> very very close to them. When you arrive to Termini Station,... More

About 4 minutes walk to the main Termini station. Our room involved a zigzag zag walk along a narrow corridor to our room which was very dark so had to put the lights on when in it, but this is Rome and the room was very quiet. No air conditioning just a fan above the bed but we opened the... More

Conveniently located, decent breakfast, fairly clean, good value. Not the place to stay for a romantic getaway but adequate for our group of 10 friends! WIFI was not accessible from the room. We had to go down to the lobby to use the WIFI.

My first impression of the so called "Hotel" was the reception desk. Although the gentleman was friendly, costumer service wise was a bit dissapointing at the desk. First when you arrive in a hotel you should be approached with a smile on your face no matter how much you earn because the costumer is YOUR FOOD. So I didnt have... More

Good Value for the Price, close to the central. There is nothing wrong with this place, though it probably isn't the sort of hotel you'd choose for a romantic/elegant weekend but it nice. Courteous service!

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
