I was looking for a non-expensive hotel (single room) close to Termini station for 2 nights, and found Hotel Giada on the website nyceRome.com. The hotel (3 stars) is quite basic, but clean, and it satisfied my needs. The room was simply furnished, but the bed was good. The breakfast was average.
The location of the hotel was superb, 3...

The Hotel Giada is completely different to what one sees on the internet, there is no comparison. Its dirty and depressing to stay in. Apart from the room having dirty walls and looking shabby altogether, there was a strong smell of dust as if the room had been closed for a month. I could barely breath, since I suffer from...

In Rome this is classed as a 3 star, and you are situated right in the middle of the city, so expect noise, not a nice view, the usual inconsiderate night revelers returning to their rooms making a noise and a Roman style breakfast. We arrived to find that the company we had booked with was fake (HotelsVision) and we...

We've traveled to Rome without booking a hotel in advance and since it wasn't high season yet it wasn't that hard to find one. We arrived at the Termini (the Central Train Station) and we decided to pick a street and see if we could find a hotel close enough. Well, luckily there are loads of hotels around the Termini...

My main reason to book hotel Giada was because it was accessible with a wheelchair. Upon arrival the receptionaist seemed quite astonished that I was travelling all by myself. At the entrance there is one small step which is barely worth mentioning. The elevator is spatious (a rare thing for a hotel in Rome) and my single room was accessible...

The staff here are very friendly and helpful. Room was a small single which felt quite depressing at first but I spent very little time there so it really didn't matter. Bed was comfortable. Shower clean with plenty of hot water. There were some students shouting in the corridor a lot one night but I was so tired they barely...

I found this hotel when looking for a budget accommodation. When we arrived, check-in was quick and smooth. The room was good and clean, and the parquet floor is a nice touch. Beds were comfy and bathroom was good too. Breakfast was ok too with bread, croissants, cereals, coffee etc... Location wise, its perfect as there are a variety of...

Room was big enough & bathroom was OK, but it was very dirty. Room was badly in need of repair & redecoration. Shutters onto balcony did not open, heating was on all the time and uncontrollable. Lift was completely inadequate for the number of users: the building and lift (but not the reception desk) is shared with Hotel Altavilla which...

I stayed at Hotel Giada for 3 nights at end of June.
The price was reasonable. I booked a single room for 65 or 70 euros and they gave me a double room!! I was definitely pleased with that. I also knew the location, as this was the 3rd time in Rome. It is situated close to the main Termini...
