I want to give you a feedback regarding my stay at this hotel last week. Almost everything was wrong from the first day. We had to wait in the lobby till 13.30 to have the check in made because the room was not ready. And the receptionist wasn’t nice at all. He apologized but he was nervous. Then, the room... more

I found the room overall comfortable and well equipped. I went as part of a package tour. It was the only of the three-star European hotels I stayed at that had a fridge and a television. The TV was basic cable but in summertime being able to keep drinks cool was a huge plus. The front desk staff was very... more

I stayed in the hotel at the end of July 2009. It is situated quite far from the city centre, however is very accessable with the use of public transport. It is situated in a lovely little area close to local shops. The rooms were a fair size and very clean. Their was not much of a selection for breakfast... more

We stayed here as part of a tour group and arrived one day early as well. The hotel is a disaster the life is so small only one person and their suitcase could fit at a time and then they were the most indecisive lifts I've come across. The room was small, bed rock hard, fridge wasn't on and when... more

This is not a serious hotel. How can they say that they are located "100 metres" away from the Vatican in the location section in their homepage??? It seems to me as a fake statement. And the reception workers? Far from friendly!! Considering this is a VERY FAR hotel from Roma Center, the staff should at least warn you about... more

We came from Tallinn, Estonia and stayed at this hotel for three nights, had a pleasant stay during this time. The hotel staff was friendly. This is a hotel with a quite good location, ca 5 min walk to the bus stop and 20-25 min drive to the center. We really enjoyed our stay, hope to come back! more

Just come back from 4 nights, staying in this hotel. Although it was not too bad, it did not live up to the expectations we had read. The rooms are small and it can become very noisey. We were on the ground floor and because the floors are all tiled, it didn't muffle any noise. Everynight one of our rooms... more

I stayed with a tour group there for three nights total and the rooms are very small. The management managed to squish four single beds into the room which left no room at all for any luggage, we were packed in like sardines. The bathroom shower is directlly over top the toilet, which makes it extremely hard to keep your... more

Spent three nights at Hotel Giotto, which were pleasant and enjoyable. The staff were friendly and helpful. I advise any travellers to go to Battistini train station rather than Cornelia station ,as it is an easier walk and not continuously up hill and takes around 10-15 minutes walk. Found the hotel a little hard to find as side street is... more

I live in NYC and I have to say that, for traveling to another major city, I was very happy with the Hotel Giotto. As a Manhattanite, I see MANY tourists come in and out of my beloved city. Some are more comfortable doing what the masses do and staying where the masses stay. Times Square is just fine, but... more
