We were originally reinbursed for a terrible disaster of a holiday prior to this and decided as I'd always wanted to visit Rome we would spend the money on doing that. When we arrived we were informed that our rooms were not ready and wouldn't be until the following day due to Spanish students "destroying" them. I took this with... More

The location is good, near the Vatican. Clean rooms, of course it's a 3 star and in Rome nothing so great. But a decent place where to stay. I think I would stay here again. Price is good, nice breakfast.

We stayed at hotel Giotto on a 4 night break with flights through a British airways deal. Although a bit out of town, it was quiet, the staff were friendly and the accommodation was very acceptable. We stayed in room 219 on 2nd floor overlooking the front entrance. Room was compact but was suitable for our needs. Breakfast was included... More

I visited in company of my 10 year old son for two nights to watch a AS Roma football game. The location is a little bit off in a quiet area of Rome. The nearest metro station is a 20 min. walk from the hotel and a little bit hard to find, we used gps the first time. The metro... More

The hotel is basic but is clean, the cleaners do a great job every day making up our room. Staff friendly. Location was a pain as it right on the end of the metro line plus you either had a walk or a bus to get back to hotel when your knackered from walking round Rome all day last thing... More

I stayed at Hotel Giotto for three nights in February. The hotel itself was quite pleasant, the room very small but clean. The cleaners did a great job making the room up daily. I didn't bother with the breakfast so can't comment on that. Free wifi (when everyone is not trying to use it at once and it crashes). Walls... More

My partner and i have just returned from a three day trip to rome. We stayed at the Giotto hotel and after reading some reviews were surprised at some of the bad comments. We found the hotel clean and tidy, rooms were cleaned every morning, staff were friendly enough and the breakfast was what you would expect from a continental... More

The staff in here were miserable. They attempted to charge six euro tax for someone staying in our group twice. We had a drunken couple next to us throwing things at each other at 2AM. We have a small child and I went to complain after 4 hours being next to a convention of football holligans. I went to the hotel... More

Recently returned from a 2 day trip to Rome with a friend. Purchased the holiday through British Airways and was a little disappointed in the locale. It was more of a residential area with little or no night life. We arrived late evening and the hotel restaurant was recommended - do not even go there - it was microwaved food!... More

Took off for a few days in Rome to catch up on sights missed in previous visits. Hotel Giotto made a good base for a single traveller - wouldn't dare take the other half as rooms basic - but everything was clean and tidy if a tad compact. Breakfast tasty but plain, though the staff were friendly enough. Easy access... More
