We stayed at Hotel Giotto for 7 days and we had a blast. The breakfast was very good, our room was beautiful and comfortable with a very modern private bathroom. The hotel is in a quite neiborhood so we never had our sleep disturbed by street noises. At night it was even better because we used to hang out at... More

My friend and I just got back from here and it is without a doubt the most miserable and depressing place I've ever stayed! Firstly positives : It was clean. Negatives: Location, very slummy area of Rome, rubbish everywhere, graffiti all over the place, a very intimidating place to walk around at night. No nice restaurants nearby, metro only runs... We booked an all in flight and hotel break with BA. We didn't realise, having not been to Rome quite how far out of the city it was. It is in the middle of nowhere it felt like! It is on a metro line, granted but it's a long walk with constantly avoiding uneven pavement and crazy drivers. Luckily we... More

Stayed three nights in April 2015 there. Very small room in the sixth floor (the lift ends on the fifth!), hardly to pass by the double-bed (and impossible when doors of wardrobe are open). When I wanted to use my electric shaver I had to switch it on the only electric outlet placed on the wall in the middle of... More

If space isnt a priority then you can't fault this hotel. It appears to be a circular building with wedge shaped rooms. The singles are small, but clean, with an ensuit, for ~€55 a night, including a basic breakfast. The hotel is a 10 minute walk from Battastini Metro station. It has a nice terrace bar on the 5th floor,... More

Arrived at hotel and was greeted by reception staff very polite and we're polite and helpful throughout stay. The hotel is used by schools but the kids were good they were a bit noisy at night but once asked to quieten down they were not an issue reception were happy to help with any issues but this was not required... I have just returned from a visit to Rome and I stayed at the Giotto hotel. Having been to Italy once before I had a set expectation that I hope would be met. But everything was below my expectations. The hotel is a 3 star hotel, the facilities and services provided meet that standard. However the comfort of the stay... More

Stayed in this hotel for 3 nights and first impressions were of a very rude unhelpful check in receptionist was only interested in immediately taking the extortionate city tax off us immediately . We were then issued our key card to our room . Very old fashioned room with very smelly bathrooms and a musty wardrobe with 2 mangled hangers... More
