We ( me nad my girlfriend ) spend there new year in 2008/09. Good hotel but litlle bit far to city centre. You have to take first bus than go by underground(subway). Hotel look nice. Typical 3 star .For us OK

As a group of 4 teenagers we chose Hotel Giotto as it was the cheapest option and we were told "close to everything", which if you don't mind using the Metro everyday I suppose we were. Unfortunately the absolute biggest downfall for me was the hill we had to scale everyday which when you've been trekking around Rome in the... More

The hotel is a basic hotel, room was quite small but had everything you needed, working air con, safe for valuables and was clean and tidy. Bathroom was clean but the shower was very small but warm and powerful. The only problem with the room was that the walls were paper thin and you could here everything through them. We... More

The hotel is ok for the price, kind of far from the center around 15 minuts to nearest metro station(although there is a bus that can take you there).Breakfast is the usual (ham ,cheese ,some cakes, milk ,tea coffee and pastry, youghurt etc.).Friendly staff ,clean room with seif. All in all I was satisfied with this hotel. PS: the room walls are kinda thin... More

My first time in rome, and most probably my last. One member of staff (morning receptionist) was extremely cold, rude and didn't give a care or help, except for when it came to collecting cash especially the tax, he was just Interested in taking your money. Other staff were good, but this one guy (I don't know if I should... More

Stayed in this hotel with family. To get to closest metro station it is at least a 20 minute walk where you have to walk on the road as there are no pavements along half the route. The hotel reception area is clean enough. The bedroom is clean enough though the towels that were provided were totally threadbare and had... More

The hotel was clean and had nice rooftop bar. But the location was very poor and would advise you to stay elsewhere if possible. It was very basic and the walls were very thin and you could hear people having showers and flushing their toilets. The nearest metro stop is a 20 minute walk from the hotel or you can... More

I stayed at this hotel for two nights. It was my first hotel experience in Italy. The rooms are small but clean. Breakfast is served and includes bread and basic pastries. Nothing over the top but good enough to hold me down as I explored Rome in the morning. I don't know how far the train station is as I... More

Very basic hotel but always very clean and tidy. Breakfast is included but again very basic pastries, cheese, meat and tin fruit. Vending machine coffee. If you are a light sleeper this is not the hotel for you, the walls are paper thin. You can hear everything. Be prepared to walk, this hotel is about a 12-15 minute walk to... More

An out of the way hotel, approx 20 min walk from Battistini metro station. The hotel serves a purpose, the room was cleaned everyday. The lifts are small, barely fitting 2 people in. We found that the best way to travel into Central Rome was a short walk to the bus stop to catch the 49 bus to the Vatican.... More
