It was our first trip to Rome and booked Hotel Siena after a long search through Trip Advisor. It was a surprise when we checked in (nice lady) late and got to the room. We booked a Family Room and the room turned out to be much better than we expected - one spacious bedroom, one spacious separate living room... More

The hotel is in an excellent location, very central and close to all attractions. The staff are very nice. The hotel is well kept. We were there for 3 nights and Italy was very hot. The only problem in the hotel was the air conditioning was very bad because of which the we could not get good sleep. Despite repeated... More

We spent 3nights at this hotel recently. The location is really good close to the Spanish steps and also the Trevi Fountain. Tiny lift but it does have one! We struggled to work the room key in our door and were eventually shown on our last day how it worked. Had the woman at reception come up to our room... More

The location was perfect! We were walking distance to all the main attraction of Rome. Although the rooms were small (what rooms in Italy aren't ?!?) they were still comfortable enough for us. The breakfast provided was delicious and all staff were friendly. Only battle was the stairs to get to the room, but probably a good thing after all... More

My mother and I stayed at Hotel Siena for 10 days, we had such a great experience! The location of the hotel was perfect. It was central allowing us to explore all the tourist spots by foot (we love to walk). The rooms were clean, cozy and comfortable. Best of all Hotel Siena had an extremely friendly staff. We were... Ideally situated between the Spanish Steps and Piazza Navona, this small hotel is a gem. The place is clean and everything works fine the staff is very friendly and the breakfast that is normally included is very good with Italian standards. The only disadvantage is that the economy rooms are extremely small, one could say piccolissime but you get used... More

We stayed here for a few days, the location was fantastic. It only a short walk to the Spanish steps & about 20 mins to the Vatican. The room comfortable & the staff extremely helpful. The staff sorted outed out a few tour issues we had & gave very clear & helpful directions. Highly recommended

One of the better hotels we have stayed in. Set right in the middle of the tourist routes it could not be more convenient. Nothing was further away than a 45 minute walk. The hotel itself was very nice and very clean. My wife and I did not find the room to be overly small although the television was placed... More

Staying in Colonna

Neighborhood Profile
Colonna
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very center of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping center, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
