The location is excellent - walking distance from many of the attractions Rome has to offer. Also, there is Metro station near by. The staff were very helpful and nice, breakfast was very good, and the hotel has a nice welcoming feeling. We stayed for 5 nights and highly recommend it.

This is a small, cute and modern hotel at the heart of Rome. Don't expect huge and comfortable rooms. Rooms are small, but very clean and interior is pleasant. Breakfast was grate, although hotel is small. The scrable eggs are delicious and you may also find grate mozzarella, bread, youghurts, fruits, croisants and 2-3 types of other sweets. Spanish Steps... More

This is a great place to stay. The rooms are small but not compared to other hotels in Europe. The breakfast was pretty good too. The Spanish Steps are just down the street (within 5 minutes). The restaurants close to the hotel are also good. Getting a taxi is also very easy, just a short walk down the street.

Hotel Siena has a wonderful location which makes the stay very comfortable. The concierge at the front desk was very helpful and speaks fluent English. They were king enough to let us check few options for available rooms when we arrived. The Hotel is 3 minutes walk to the Spanish Steps and 4 minutes walk to Trevi Fountain. Also very... More

It was a pleasure to stay in this hotel. It is overall very clean, nice and the rooms are quite big for Italy. The breakfast was delicious and the choice was wide. All the major attractions are reachable by walking. We really loved our stay there also staff was very friendly .

Stayed here four days last week. The hotel is placed right between the Trevi Fountain and the Spanish steps. Lots of nice restaurants nearby. The first thing we noticed, is that this is a "miniature" hotel. :-) The lobby is small, the elevator is tiny, -and the double room we got was 14m2 (including the bathroom). It was a good... More

Great Place to stay. It's steps away from the Fountain of Trevi and a couple of blocks from the Pantheon and the Piazza Navona. And only a short taxi to the Train Station. This is what I consider the heart of the city….Restaurants, Bars and shopping everywhere. The rooms are small (but in Rome they're all small). Most important, they're... More

We were looking for a place in the heart of everything and this hotel is it. Restaurants abound. We visited 2 very near by and both were excellent. Grocery store within a couple of blocks. The mini frig and safe in the room were an added bonus. Even though it is on a busy street when the windows are closed... More

Have been to Rome numerous times and stayed in various locations. Preferring the Spanish steps, I chose this hotel for its close proximity (5 minutes walk) you are close to everywhere, yet tucked behind the main streets, so quiet location at night. Rooms, as most are in Rome, are on the small side but everything you need. Bathrooms adequate and... More

Staying in Colonna

Neighborhood Profile
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very center of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping center, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
