Within half an hour walk of Colosseum, Trevi, Pantheon etc. Ten mins from the local underground at Republica. A great restaurant five min walk from hotel, turn right out of entrance and it is a few hundred yards. Rooms are okay, not as good as I was expecting. Floor looked dirty and was not cleaned during our stay. Even left... More

The hotel is newly renovated with a Classic Italian feel. Ornate wallpaper, marble bathrooms, spiral staircase. It is very tasteful and clean. The staff is welcoming and extremely helpful - willing to give recommendations or just chat. The hotel is located away from the center, but most major attractions are a short subway/taxi ride of 20 minute walk. It was... More

Stayed here for 2 nights on our way to join a cruise. This is a lovely hotel and the staff are so pleasant, especially on the reception desk. We had a problem with our transfer from the airport - (nothing to do with this hotel ) and reception were so helpful in sorting this for us. Our room was small... More

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at Bailey’s Hotel. The staff of the Bailey’s was excellent especially the front desk manager Jerrod. Jerrod was very knowledgeable on Rome and had great suggestions on local restaurants in the area, and took time to explain the transit system of Rome, and even gave great suggestions on how to avoid becoming victims... Prior to our arrive worked with staff to arrange a car service and champagne and sparkling juice for kids in room upon arrive. The staff greeted us warmly and provided an easy check in. Stayed here for 2 nights while visiting Rome before a cruise. The staff were lovely & happy to help with any questions. Plus the staff upgraded us all so we had the same type free of charge. The breakfast was a simple continental one with enough to fill up on. The rooms (deluxe) were in true Italian style with material... More

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
