Prior to our arrive worked with staff to arrange a car service and champagne and sparkling juice for kids in room upon arrive. The staff greeted us warmly and provided an easy check in. The hotel is within walking distance of Termini and all the major tourist spots. Staff recommend several local places to eat and Il Latte was a... More

Stayed here for 2 nights while visiting Rome before a cruise. The staff were lovely & happy to help with any questions. Plus the staff upgraded us all so we had the same type free of charge. The breakfast was a simple continental one with enough to fill up on. The rooms (deluxe) were in true Italian style with material... More

We stayed for three nights at Bailey's Hotel. It was OK, but I wouldn't stay here again. First, the good things: the staff are excellent. We received a very friendly welcome with lots of advice about what to do and where to go. The location is very good. Via Flavia is very quiet and there are lots of decent restaurants... More

The hotel advertises free wifi in rooms. Your lucky if you get a connection for 4 mins. The Internet continuously disconnects. It's a pain. The room is a decent size, but the bathroom is tiny. The breakfast is good. Warm scrambled eggs with a selection of cold cuts and pastries. The staff is amazing!!! They go out of their way... More

When we arrived we were welcomed by Gerald. He was very friendly! The hotel is clean and situated in the perfect location. We were upgraded which was an amazing start to the holiday and were given glasses of prosecco whilst our room was getting ready. The bar area was lovely and the bar man was very friendly! We then got... More

Small (29 room) comfortable and clean, with very friendly and helpful reception staff. The hotel is situated in a quiet back street, but within reasonable distance of Romes main railway station (Termini) and 2 Metro stations, Republicca and Berberini. The hotel is listed as 4 star, yet has little in the way of amenities. Small bar and lounge area, small... More

We stayed in Rome for three nights at the Baileys Hotel. It is a small but perfectly located hotel with the friendliest most accommodating staff. It is walking distance to most attractions and restaurants. Gerard, the manager is very friendly and extremely helpful. I would definitely return to this hotel!!

Stayed here for 4 nights Gerald was so polite and helpful. Helped organise our tickets to the coliseum and our pick up for the airport. Great location for all sights. Rooms very clean and great sleep. Would def recommend this hotel when staying in Rome.

I choose the Bailey's Hotel because it came highly recommended to me by a friend. Within several hours it became apparent to why he had recommended the hotel. I am a frequent traveler and rarely have I seen a staff work so hard to ensure that the guest is having an amazing stay. To give an example, on the first... More

In a hectic Rome this hotel is an oasis: quiet, clean. It is very hard to find a room for three adults. The hotel is nicely located close to Via Veneto and the Spanish Steps (a few blocks away). There were a few things I didn't like, hence the 4 stars: wifi extremely slow, soap/shampoo combo is terrible, staff not... More

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
