Just returned home tonite from my 2 1/2 week trip to Italy. Our last stop was Rome where we stayed at the Hotel Isa. We arrived from Florence in our rental and the diredtions from the hotel were terrible. Thank goodness for our GPS (who gave us wrong directions as well). There were 3 couples all on the 2nd floor... more

We arrived quite late, the hotel having arranged a good airport transfer with a nice driver who came in a huge SPV thing and whisked us into Rome in 30 mins from FCO. Check-in was quick and the staff efficient and friendly. Our family room was a 2 bed suite basically, both with large en-suite bathrooms, my only minor disappointment... more

Great location--very comfortable walk to Lepanto metro stop as well as Vatican, Pza Navona, etc. Just outside of the overrun tourist area, which made it very pleasant. Loved the breakfast buffet on the terrace--like a wedding breakfast. Room was great--normal size for Europe but with a running shelf alongside the walls to place stuff--providing more surfaces than you get at... more

My husband and I spent 3 days at this hotel pre-cruise. We were very satisfied with this hotel. We booked a superior deluxe room. The room we were given was on the fifth floor and was clean and spacious -- in fact, it is the largest room I've ever stayed at during my many trips to Europe. Everyone we encountered... more

Air condtioning saved our lives as hot hot hot. Small room but adequate - the lift worked- breakfast was excellent. Quiet location but good for Vatican and Piazza Navona. Do get them to have a taxi to pick you up if you are not catching the train - we have been caught out before - 50 euros. Excellent meal on... more

This small boutique style hotel is great value for money and in a good location not far from a metro stop. The breakfast is good and the rooms are nicely decorated (although one of our was very small and the other had a strange smell when the aircon was on!) The staff on reception and in the bar were very... more

We spent 4 nights in the Isa Hotel on our recent trip through Italy. It was clean, very new, and very comfortable. The location was perfect - just outside the really crazy tourist area, but close enough to walk to almost everything. The windows blocked out the light and most of the noise - I'm a very light sleeper and... more

We spent 4 nights at the hotel and were really glad we had chosen it, there were so many to chose from in Rome. The front desk staff was super helpful, the maids were really nice and the staff at the rooftop terrace was over the top great, especially the chef who seems to work constantly! The breakfast was a... more

When we arrived our room was not ready and we were asked to come back in an hour to check in. We came back and were given the key to our room. The housekeeping staff seem to be the only ones allowed to use the lift during the day, so we had to drag our case up 3 flights of... more

This is a really nice city centre hotel. Its location is perfect 5 mins from the vatican. The breakfast is brillant will keep you going until dinner. The staff were very friendly and always willing to help and chat. The room was not quite what I expected from the website but they seem to be doing up the hotel floor... more
