We just returned from Rome and enjoyed a wonderful stay at Hotel Isa. The rooms were beautiful and the entire staff from the front desk to our wonderful girl taking care of our room were very friendly, courteous, helpful and professional. The roof top breakfast and evening bar is almost heaven! The breakfast alone was unbelievable and the staff was... More

This hotel is conveniently located to the Vatican and, for folks like us who don't mind walking up to 7 miles/day, also within walking distance to the Jewish Ghetto and Colloseum. Front desk very courteous and helpful with bus and train instructions and recommending a great nearby restaurant. Room was a little smaller than expected and a/c was confusing but... More

Had a 3 night stay in this hotel early May. This is a lovely little hotel that is very central to the top tourist spots in Rome. Hotel is clean and our room (deluxe Standard) was nice an spacious. Room was facing the front of the hotel which is on a busy enough street so if you are a light... More

This is the 2nd time I stayed at this hotel. The first time was 5-6 years on a week long trip to Rome with my mother. That stay was excellent. This time my husband and I spent 3 nights in this hotel before our Mediterranean cruise. We had a premium double room with a balcony facing a court yard. Excellent... More

Having stayed before, we found the upgrade of the hotel to be an added benefit. Courtyard room was much better than the rooms overlooking street. Breakfast on rooftop is very good in a pleasant location. Hotel is near all attractions that interested us and we will continue to recommend this hotel to family and friends.

Stayed for 5 nights. The hotel was nicely presented & very clean. The staff were extremely helpful & polite. Willy on the bar is a star. The breakfeast has a great selection, located on the rooftop terrace which gives great city views. If I had one negative, we were given a small room but we were moved to a larger... More

Fantastic hotel with a good location centrally in Rome near Piazza Cavour, wonderful rooms, friendly staaf and a roof garden with the most fantastic breakfast! Can really recommend this hotel! There are several good restaurants in the neighbourhood.

A week in late April. Redeeming feature was the roof garden breakfasts, evening drinks and staff there. But there were too many irritating features to encourage us to go back. No air conditioning (it wasn't available in April!), so to cool down the room we had leave the window open to the significant noise of the main street, Design annoyances... More

The Isa hotel has superb decor, friendly staff and very very nice rooms (ours had a wet room and jacuzzi... Simply decadent!) Breakfast is served on the roof terrace, with a good view of St Peters square, the roofs anyway. Cocktails and dinner are also served up on the roof (6th floor) but we didn't try that, maybe next time.... More

The Isa Hotel is the perfect location for a city break in Rome. Just minutes from the Vatican and a short walk over the bridge to the center of the city, this hotel is ideal if you are planning to stay in Rome and explore on foot. Although located in an historic district the Isa is tastefully refurbished with a... More

Staying in Prati

Neighborhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the center, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighboring Borgo, Prati is a local favorite for its aesthetic organization and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
