Stayed here prior to meeting up with a bus tour out of Rome. This hotel is centrally located within walking distance to the train station and major attractions. Getting here was easy. The Hotel is very clean, the staff are very friendly, knowledgable and professional. The rooms however are very small and the bathroom is compact which is typical in... More

Dear Customer Thank you for the comment that needs our response to manage the reader's understanding. Check-in time is after 12. In case of availability we can anticipate the times, but the rooms were still cleaning on his arrival early in the morning so we had to ask gently waiting. 104 is a double room good for single occupancy in... After reading reviews on tripadvisor, I must admit I was a little apprehensive about staying here, but the reviews could not have been more wrong. On arriving to a very clean foyer, we were greeted by a very friendly receptionist, whom gave us an excellent map with ideas of where to go and how to get around. Going up to... More

The hotel charges for things like internet and TV that most hotels provide as part of the service. Even having paid for the internet, it was non-functional, and they insisted that the license for the wifi could not be transferred from one device to another; paying customers would be expected to pay again if they wanted to use the wifi... I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone and I myself am sure I am never returning to it. The rooms weren't very nice and there were stains on the bedsheets. The windows didn't close well and the last four nights I woke up every night because of the noise outside on the streets. One night there were even people yelling... More

I actually can not think of anything nice to say about this hotel. Needless to say, I would not reccommend it to anyone. If you read other reviews, they have said it all. Small rooms, dirty, unsafe (I think every floor had broken fire alarms, the hairdryer chord was severed in our room), breakfast room that smelt of urine and... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
