I stayed at this hotel mid-December with my boyfriend. It was actually my second visit, and this time round, I specifically asked for a larger room with a decent-sized bathroom, away from the lift. I am happy to say that they honoured all of my requests - I don't think we could have had a better room at that hotel.... More

Basic accommodation if a convenient location. We stayed in Hotel Embassy for four nights and ended up paying less than EUR 300. Hotel is old and very basic but does the job if all you need is a place to sleep during your stay in Rome. Wifi is weak on upper floors. Free breakfast. Kumar, Alessandro and other staff did... I took some photos to upload, but it looks like all of them are already on this site. In the bathrooms there is mold on the shower walls and the water tank for the toilet. It looks like they remodeled the plumbing at some point, but left the fixture around, and placed covers over them. The bed was uncomfortable. They... More

My wife and I stayed in the Embassy Hotel for three nights at the beginning of a longer trip to Italy. We stayed in the hotel a few years ago so knew what to expect. The Embassy, spread out over several floors, shares its building with private apartments, a doctor's surgery, a language school and offices so is a little... More

In terms of value for money, I would say this place is fair and nothing more. Most aspects of the place are solid but not special in any way. Its quite a good location being 5mins walk from the metro and via Nazionale. The road outside was busy and noisy but that for me is part of the city experience.... More

We had 4 nights at the Embassy this August. Like others it was a little hard to find but once located it was a great venue from where to explore Rome. The hotel situated in a large block with reception on the first floor and whenever we were coming or going there was always a friendly greeting from the front... More

We stayed here for three nights at the beginning of our July trip. We are a family of four with two tweens. The hotel is a little hard to find the first time, but the location is excellent once you get the hang of the neighborhood. Breakfast is standard with excellent coffee and tea. The room has AC, decent shower... More

We stayed at the Hotel Embassy at the end of July. We had booked two rooms as my daughter was with us. I couldn't fault it as the rooms were clean, we had nice breakfasts each day and the rooms were serviced daily with clean towels etc. We were a ten minute walk from Termini where we were able to... Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
