We were a party of 11 who travelled to Rome over the New Year, arriving on the 31st December. First we had an apartment booked, but the people let us down so thankfully while packing we found this hotel. We paid well over the normal rate but had no choice but to take it. This hotel is by no means... More

For these days in Rome I had chosen an apartment at first ,than I found the Apt busy ,( was occupied) . What a fck !!!!! But fortunately nearby I found the Hotel Embassy , Mr. David was so kind and helped me in this adventure. I got a triple room on 3rd floor, Room 330. The Hotel Embassy is... More

This is a very clean simple hotel offering breakfast in a nice area with lots of restaurants around and near the sights Trevi fountain etc good restaurant in front and nearby. The hotel offers clean basic rooms with breakfast, it is quiet and the service is good . It is near the termini station where trains to the airport depart.

The rooms are not the biggest or most luxurious in the world but my bed was comfortable, the heating/air con worked well and the tiny bathroom was well laid out. Room was cleaned daily and the WiFi worked well throughout the hotel. Breakfast is all sweet pastries and yogurts, but I have a very sweet tooth so that suits me... More

The hotel was in a building with several other hotels and businesses, the picture on the website must have been taken when it first opened as it know looks very old from the outside, we had a triple room which was ample in size except for the bathroom as the shower was so tiny that you couldn't move once you... Be aware, the heating doesn't work or they are trying to cut costs, hence the rooms are cold as hell. We changed several and all the same. Definitely not a 3 star hotel, 2 at most, considering there wasn't even toilet paper in the room. Awful experience!

Embassy hotel is very close to Termini station (about 500m) and also very close to metro station of piazza Republika about 150m (3-4 stops away to piazza di spagna 5-6 stops to the vatican city) and also close to fontana di trevi and the rest of rome centre. So we didn't use any public transport to get anywhere except the... More

We were moved to this hotel for a final night in Rome due to our other hotel closing with a problem with their water. Hotel Embassy was horrid! I would not have stayed there more than one night. The hotel is rated three star it is not! The hotel shares a building with other businesses the walls were cracked and... More

The rooms are dark and gloomy but considering we were out most of the time it was ok. The room was freezing and when we asked about the heater we were told they don't have. Blankets smelt dirty. The noise levels of the people above us was shocking- the floor boards are so thin that you could hear EVERYTHING. Shower... More

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
