Hotel is close to train station and restaurants. Room was small, had to leave water running a long time until it got hot, shower leaked, rubbish bin was not emptied once during 4 night stay, hair of previous room occupant was on the floor in the bathroom, TV kept turning itself off and Wifi signal was mediocre. Breakfast on roof... More

Ignore the bad reviews on here - there's little to fault about the Torino. Room (6th floor) was clean and well presented. Air con works fine and mini-bar prices reasonable. Room is cleaned to a good standard every day. Breakfast is great and caters for a wide range of tastes, and the roof terrace is terrific. However, avoid the coffee... More

We hadn't read much good about this place after we had booked, but we were pleasantly surprised. We were a family of 4 and booked 2 rooms on the 5th floor for 7 nights. The location is great and within walking distance to all attractions and restaurants. They cleaned the bathroom every day and changed the towels etc. The cleaning... More

Booked through Expedia double room for three. No problems. Pretty large, lean rooms. Helpful staff. Good breakfast. Overall very positive experience. Location convenient to trains, most of attractions are in walking distance.

I was glad that when we arrived at the Hotel Torino we discovered it was actually a very nice area. I had been told that it wasn't & there wasn't easy access to sites. We took the hop on/off bus & it was very convenient, several stops were right near our hotel. Very clean, breakfast nicely done. Would most definitely... More

Arrived at Roma Termini by train and we were inside the hotel within 5 minutes. There are Metro stops at Termini too which offer you easy access to the Colosseum, Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain and the Vatican. We also walked into the centre of town and this was an enjoyable walk of around 20-25 mins. Cracking location! We were very... More

Had seen unfavourable reviews of this hotel and was anxious about staying there. I have just returned from a four night stay and can not fault the service we received there. Staff were polite, professional and helpful. Hotel is old and characterful. Our room was perfectly adequate and the hotel location perfect as a base for exploring Rome.

POSITIVES: 1) It's near the Termini station. From that station you can go everywhere in Rome (airport inclusive) 2) There is a lot of restaurants on the hotel's neighbourhood. 3) The breakfast on the rooftop terrace is nice, but prejudice the 6th floor guests.(noise). NEGATIVES: 1) Definitly, avoid to be assigned to a room on 6th floor. It's extremely noisy,... More
