The worst hotel i've ever been! The front desk guy, Mario, is so ironic and stupid! He shouted with the guests. The shower didn't heat and had water pressure. The wifi doesn't work properly. The air conditioning is central and very weak. Terrible!!!

My stay at hotel Torino was very pleasant. The hotel is located at a 5 min walk from Roma termini, so it made it very easy for me as i was travelling to Napoli and other southern cities from Rome. The conceirge was very helpful with helping me out with my ways to plan my day. There are many city... More

We booked Alegrio package from trip central ( which is booked via Aura tours) In Rome they booked the group into many hotels close to each other. Unfortunately , we ( 4 of us) were booked into the worst hotel of the bunch (hotel Torino). the Hotel is old, but that's expected in Rome. But the room was dirty, outdated... More

This was the second time to stay in this hotel. This time the room provided was excellent - it was a suite which was ideal since my wife & I brought our adult daughter along this time & she had her own bedroom. The plumbing to the bath needed some repair but it all worked okay. Hotel Torino is ideally... More

The hotel is in a fabulous location close to Termini and all local transport. Fabulous restaurants close by with very helpful staff. My room was comfortable, but no shower (extension tap work well though). Breakfast was fresh and suitable for a big day exploring, but one staff member "Roberto" stood out for his great customer service and help, thank you... More

This is precisely the type of hotel to expect for the price, the location near Termini and for a clean and well equipped room. It is only a few minutes from the Piazza della Repubblica. Continental breakfast is provided on the top floor, nothing special but ok for kick starting the morning.

love this hotel! its only a short walk from Rome's main train station. Reception can also sort out a few excursions which we found very useful. The room we stayed in was quite small but because we only used the room to sleep in it didn't matter to us. The hotel is extremely clean in all areas and the staff... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
