Hotel is ok but room does need refurbished as furnishings are damaged and getting old. Also building needs repaired, cracks on walls and damp at the balcony doors. Bed was comfy and one of the best I have slept in with the amount of times I visit Rome. Bathroom could do with deep clean, there was mould between the tiles... More

We had a terrible experience here after arriving in Rome and our Original hotel was booked and transferred us to a "similar" quality four star hotel. This did not fulfill my expectations. I would have given this 2 stars if the staff members weren't so excellent and pleasant. They are a gem but seriously there are flaws with this being... More

Torino Hotel has a good location in Rome within the walking distance from the main Termini train station. Reasonable nightly rates with rather good breakfast on 7th floor which extended out to nice open terrace to chill out in good weather. Hotel reception is quite helpful & friendly, and good places to eat near by. Top tourist attractions are near... More

Loved this hotel, from the welcoming reception staff to the beautiful rooftop area with views of the Vatican and not forgetting the magnificent breakfast served up here every day. Staff were all extremely friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Rooms were lovely with private balconies and spacious modern bathrooms. A wonderful stay- would highly recommend.

Loved the location, within walking to the train/metro, good food options, friendly staff, clean room, and a jaw dropping view! Breakfast was delicious is on the roof top was wonderful, mind the birds though! They like to clean the tables. The roof top is open until fairly late and makes for a nice place to sit and enjoy a glass... More

We stayed at Hotel Torino for 2 nights on our arrival in Rome. The staff were as helpful as they needed to be, albeit a little abrupt. We were able to store our bikes in their luggage room for our stay which was great. The room was basic and the shower managed to flood the bathroom everytime it was switched... More

Dear LynnTott, thanks for your kind review. We apologize for the breakfast issue, it is continental but not an English breakfast you are probably used to. We have ham, cheese, eggs, bread, croissants, cakes, cereals, milk, fresh fruit, jam, honey, nut cream, tea, coffee, juices, etc, it is usually enough. Also, for Italians and the majority of the guests weather... More

We needed a hotel close to the train station (Roma Termini railway station) and this hotel was perfect (about 5 minute walk with luggage). Pros: close to train, good price, friendly staff, clean, right in the middle of all the restaurants /shops, heat worked well in room (important in December!), & felt safe!!! I stayed here with my husband, and... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
