This was our last port of call after three weeks in Italy travelling with my husband, mother and two teenage children. We arrived after an arduous train journey and then had to lug all our bags walking from the train station to this hotel. The reception we received upon check-in was awful. The lift was so slow that we then... More

This was our second visit to this hotel and it did not disappoint. It has a great location near the Termini Station (although not an area of great scenic beauty) with good quality rooms that are well appointed. Most enjoyable breakfasts in the roof top garden restaurant ...and the staff there are a real joy ...very pleasant and friendly without... More

We stayed at this hotel for two nights as part of a group on a rail journey holiday. Reception on arrival was appalling. Room was dark and small. AC was only fixed on 2nd day and wired to be on all the time - the thermostat was visibly broken. TV never worked. Meal on arrival very poor. Lift inadequate for... More

A great place to explore the city from. The hotel is clean and tidy and the room size is good. The roof bar is great and the best place to be as the sun goes down. Breakfast is good and you can also eat it on the roof which is fab. The only problem and it is a small one... More

A great location for a weekend visit to Rome. Our room was of a good size but the bathroom was very small. The whole hotel is very clean and well kept and the bed was very good. The only complaints and they are only small are the Wi-Fi doesn't work anywhere in the hotel. You can get connected but it... More

This is a 4 star hotel under the Italian classification and this level covers a huge variation of standard. Diana would be a 3 star hotel at best on a French or an US scale. This hotel actually has single rooms with single room prices, so for the solo traveller the rate can be quite reasonable but for doubles they... More

Hotel Diana in Rome is in a great position for transport, restaurants & shopping. It is spotlessly clean, staff are helpful & friendly, & the roof garden is an oasis from the noise & traffic of the streets below. The rooms are small but the prices are very reasonable & the food in the restaurant is simple Italian fare. The... More

This hotel was centrally located and easy to find - cab drivers all knew where it was. The staff spoke English decently, but not fluently. The rooms are very small compared to American 4-star hotels but we expected that. As a matter of fact, I know some people who just wouldn't have been able to fit into the room without... More

Would have gotten 4 stars if not for the AC issue BAD No AC. The place was boiling. And I got an excuse about how they don't turn on AC at Rome that time of the year. Give me a break - it's your electrical bill. You can turn on the AC if you like. And check the forecast to... More

Location was great but, found the rooms a little small and, also the breakfast was very mediocre. From the photo's shown had much higher expectations. Bed was comfy, towels nice and fluffy but, staff on reception could be friendlier and more well informed. Room staff were excellent.
