Hotel Cilicia is a very nice hotel with very helpful staff, it's just out of the way from public transport. If you don't mind walking this is a lovely hotel. It's clean, large rooms with everything you need. The breakfast is good, not exceptional but will set you right for the day. My only criticism is wifi is there, but... More

We stayed here this weekend and for the price paid can't complain about the hotel, rooms were basic but clean and spacious, bathroom nice and clean, shower cubicle was small. Breakfast was plenty of choice meats cheeses breads pastries jams fruits and cereal. Selection of drinks. Would have liked tea coffee facilities in the room though as it cost 7... More

We've been to the Hotel at the begining of October. The hotel is money's worth. The rooms a bit small, but good enough if you not going to be all day at the hotel. The service on the resepsation is good and welcoming. We arrived to the hotel earlier but they prepare our room at time. Indeed the noise from... More

We spent 5 days at the hotel. The room was neat and clean. The room and bathroom were both very small though. Shower was tiny. Breakfast consisted of pastries, tea, coffee and juices, as well as cereals, bread, cheese and cold meat. A good choice if you are not spending a lot of time at the hotel. Transport to the... More

when i read the other reviews i had a sense of deja vu, the other reviewers experienced many of my concerns. It is NOT in a convenient for visiting the main attractions and the staff could do with some lessons in customer service and good manners.. When you are running a hotel with international quests more effort should be put... More

I only sleep and eat the breakfast in the hotel, so: Price: good, 48 Eur/night + 4 EUR/day local fees Room(single): small, clean, but noisy due to the position near some hotel AC system or the kitchen ventilation. The shower very small, I cannot bend to pickup something from the ground. Internet: Even there was two Wifi(free) network in the... More

When I first read the reviews before booking, most of the people mention how the hotel is quite a walk away from the nearest metro station. I thought, ah! 15-20 minutes walk is no problem! easy! Boy, was I wrong. The walk was not difficult, no uphill or downhill. You pass by a few shops and see a different side... More

Stayed here as part of a groupon deal on our visit to Rome. For the price we paid, our trip to Rome was amazing value. Hotel Cilicia was clean, friendly and the staff were helpful. About a 30 minute walk to the forum but plenty to see on the way!! Not too far from San giovanni metro stop and within... More

Location 7/10: The hotels location is good, but not great. It is located just next to a very busy road, so expect a lot of noise especially if you get the road view rooms. Depend on how good you are in walking, it is possible to access places such as colosseum on foot; it's a 30-40 minutes walk. Otherwise, buses... More
