The staff were both polite and helpful. Room clean and spacious with large king size bed. Breakfast typical European buffet, but was fresh and with good choices. Only downside is position in that it is a hilly walk from underground station. All in all a good alternative even though we would not have necessarily selected the area. There are some... More

Booked for just one night and there is no need for a long winded review. Quite simply if you are looking for a good hotel at a reasonable price you need look no further. A little off the beaten track, but clean, comfortable with typical Italian friendly hospitality. Good breakfast too. Only bad point, wi-fi is a bit slow, but... More

A very nice, quiet, well-kept hotel quite close to the Via Veneto and two subway stations. The room was large and clean with a modern bathroom with lots of amenities. Friendly, helpful staff. All for a very moderate price. Would definitely stay there again.

Stayed here June 2015. Very nice hotel. Our room was very quiet and had a TV, desk, and safe; also a hair dryer & toiletries in the bathroom (no facial tissue or washcloths, though). The staff was very cordial. When I couldn't print out my boarding passes using the public computer, they allowed me to go behind the reception desk... More

Hotel is very clean and rooms quite spacious compared to European standards. Front desk staff need training on Customer Service, they're attitude is "you need me more than I need you". Nasty attitude with guests, one old American guy was just asking for his receipt and got a nasty reply. You Management should sit in your front desk lobby area... More

Great quiet location, very attentive staff, clean rooms and nice breakfast buffet. We stayed for 3 nights with a group of 12 and would come back again in the future. Close to via Veneto, and a short walk from the Fountain of Trevi.

We stayed in a Jr. Suite. Very lovely. Two couches. A table that would seat 4 and a king size bed. The hotel is in a quiet Piazza-- a big plus. It has contracts with the cruise lines so you may see tons of luggage being loaded. The service in the hotel was just OK. Desk staff polite, but certainly... More

Very nice beautiful rooms. This hotel is located within 20 minutes of Roman sites if you are physically fit to walk. If you cannot walk you are out of luck and choose something closer. Very nice restaurants and shops nearby. Near nice boutiques, Spanish Square, great gelato and public transportation. You cannot ask for a nicer cleaner room. If I... More

Booked this hotel for 4 nights based solely on TripAdvisor reviews and was not disappointed! good location within a 10 minute walk of the train station and metro line. And not too far from the main attractions. Breakfast is included and was amazing! Full spread of italian cold cuts, cheeses and pastries. A variety of juices and cereals, and you... More

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
