Lovely hotel is a central however quiet location! Staff were fantastic and nothing was ever too much! Rooms were spacious and clean with a large and incredibly comfortable bed! Breakfast was truly delicious with a large variety of choice and the hotel itself was close to some really really good restaurants which served some amazing food, the in-house bar is... More

We love this hotel that it is now a tradition to stay. Location, Service, Comfort we know what to expect and some great little eating outlets nearby that cater for all budgets, and you will struggle to find more helpful staff. We can't speak highly enough of the Londra & Cargill and the staff.

After reviewing just about every hotel in Rome in my price range, I stumbled upon Hotel Londra & Cargill for my 7 day visit to Rome - how lucky was I! Felt at home as soon as I walked in which was a blessing having just arrived from Australia. My room and bed were very comfortable and quiet with lovely... More

Enjoyed our trip to this hotel. Good location for the office and also good choice of restaurants where we could eat outside. The reception staff were very helpful when one case was delayed at the airport for over 24 hours. The only small issue was that there was no hot breakfast available otherwise good. Could walk to shops and some... More

We stayed at the Londra and Cargill hotel after Christmas. It was in a nice quiet location convenient to shopping and sightseeing, although you did have to walk a bit. The rooms were fairly large and the breakfast was fresh and offered several choices. However, the beds were very old and uncomfortable. Ours sagged very badly. The noise from our... More

Our room was good and well air conditioned which was very nice during hot summer. Location wasn't maybe the best, but all the sights are quite spread apart anyway so it didn't matter so much. Good breakfast and friendly personnell. If you want to find good restaurants, ask the personnell. They suggested us very good ones.

We stayed four nights here. The cost is not bad and it is located in an area that has a neighborhood feel to it. Enough cafes very near for food and drinks. The staff was a bit stiff in general. Good breakfast and nice view of surrounding buildings. Easy to get around from there by taxi, bus, or walking. Would... More

Several times in Rome, and each time - nice hotel. Some days ago we've been at Londra & Cargill - pretty and nice, calm boutique hotel with very high level of service, It is located a little bit aside from tourist routes, however enough close to Spanish Steps and Via Veneto. As soon as taxi in Rome is not expensive,... More

You will feel like a true roman staying at this hotel. You are in a quiet neighborhood with lots of wonderful restaurants and local shops. The location has you with in an easy walk of many of the local bus and metro lines. Rooms sizes were good.

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights with my sister and it was our first time in Rome. We found this hotel the perfect base from which to explore, we walked to all of the key attractions and never needed public transport. Contrary to the other reviews, we didn't have any problem with the Wifi, so perhaps there was... More

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
