The hotel was great ,our group rented three rooms for eight nights. Thank you to the wonderful front desk staff, so polite, helpful, and respectful to us every day. Young Giorgio the bellman was extremely helpful. The breakfast was fine, they will even special brew you expresso or cappuccino on request otherwise house coffee w hot milk on the side.... More

We had a two days stay in this hotel in Rome, located in a very quiet street in a residential area of Rome. The French and English speaking staff is professional and helpful. The room is of good size, with a good bathroom and cooling system. The hotel is clean. The location is slightly remote from the historical center (the... More

Where to start. You go into the hotel it looks great in the lobby. I felt underdressed but this is where the fun stopped. The night before arrival I called to check all was ok. And also it was partners birthday so wanted to make it a little special so asked what can be done. Was told we can get... More

Just returned from this hotel I had a 4 night stay here and there were a few problems. Firstly the location is a little out the way it was quiet which would be good for some people but for first timers to Rome like us it was quite hard to find where things were. Secondly the 'soundproof' walls were not... More

The hotel was close to sites for walking. We had an amazing lunch at a restarurant near the art museum but was too warm in there (airconditioning off in November). The meal was so good but the washroom was below standard(only one working). We had been to Trevi Fountain before but was it has been renovated so we walked there to see. Comfortable hotel in quiet área. Good size room, excellent bathroom and shower, however had to ask on more than one occasion for shower/shampoo to be replaced. Mini bar in room is empty and you need to order from bar downstairs for any drinks etc. Good continental breakfast, nothing cooked but excellent choice. Waiters very attentive. My wife and I spent 5 nights in this welcoming hotel in a quiet section of Rome but near the Termini. Our room was ample in size and the bed comfortable. The breakfast was fantastic although there was not hot offering. There was a bar area available in the evening and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

We were booked at this hotel by our travel agency three days prior to boarding our ship for a cruise. This is a very old world European style hotel. Elegant. All the front desk staff are dressed in suits. The bar and restaurant staff are dressed very formally and provide very good service. The hotel is in a residential neighborhood.... More

I had a massive single room on top floor with lovely views. God sized bathroom with slippers, shower gel, shampoo and even body cream. Buffet breakfast typical Italian style which def differs to other countries but they happily catered for gluten free and had a good selection. Waiters friendly and happy to speak little English they could. Very handy location... More

This was a good hotel. We were relocated there after our planned hotel had a water leak. It was a little disappointing as it was a much larger hotel and more 'standard' that the hotel we had selected. The furnishings are a bit dated but the hotel was clean and quiet and located in a safe neighborhood. The staff were... More

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
