We stayed here for a 4 night break in May after a recommendation from some friends, we were not disappointed, From the moment we arrived until we left there was nothing to complain about excellent and friendly front house staff very friendly bar man and house keeping was great. Lovely clean hotel in a quiet location great selection for breakfast,... More

We stayed here one night after a cruise. This hotel is located in a quite area, so sleeping was easy, yet within an easy several blocks walking distance to restaurants and ice cream! We came directly to and from the hotel via hired tour transportation so I don't know how convenient it was for site seeing. It has a nice... More

We stayed at the Londra and Cargill for 4 nights, and We can not recommend this hotel highly enough! From the moment of arriving, to when we left everything was terrific in this hotel. The staff are all very helpful, friendly, and we felt that they genuinely cared about our stay. (which considering how busy the hotel is, was impressive.)... More

Located in a nice quiet residential area, without a lot of traffic. Room was clean. Beds ok. Good sleep. Breakfast with sufficient choice of products. Free wifi working ok. Room price is perhaps a little expensive. A little far from metro stations, but it is always nice to walk in Rome, you will see monuments everywhere.

Lovely hotel - spotlessly clean rooms in quiet residential area. Only downside for me was the ineffective air con. Not really a problem when we stayed there mid April but may be in the height of summer! We visited with our grown up children, so requested and received adjacent rooms. 508 and 509. The rooms whilst adjacent had a small... More

I would recommend this hotel. I found all staff very friendly and helpful. There is a good selection of cold buffet food for breakfast with a small choice of gluten free breads/crackers upon request, together with a choice of hot and cold drinks. The hotel has local bars and restaurants nearby, not forgetting the award winning ice cream parlour. It... More

Booked a pre-cruise stay at this hotel, chosen primarily because of its location. It did not disappoint. The hotel itself and the staff was very agreeable. The room satisfactory. The location exceptional.

Lovely hotel is a central however quiet location! Staff were fantastic and nothing was ever too much! Rooms were spacious and clean with a large and incredibly comfortable bed! Breakfast was truly delicious with a large variety of choice and the hotel itself was close to some really really good restaurants which served some amazing food, the in-house bar is... More

We love this hotel that it is now a tradition to stay. Location, Service, Comfort we know what to expect and some great little eating outlets nearby that cater for all budgets, and you will struggle to find more helpful staff. We can't speak highly enough of the Londra & Cargill and the staff.

After reviewing just about every hotel in Rome in my price range, I stumbled upon Hotel Londra & Cargill for my 7 day visit to Rome - how lucky was I! Felt at home as soon as I walked in which was a blessing having just arrived from Australia. My room and bed were very comfortable and quiet with lovely... More

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
