Fantastic stay in classic ,classy, perfect hotel. Efficiency and experience of reception and concierge staff make tour travel easier. If you are looking for best hotel in Rome this is the one without doubt.

The combination at Hotel De Russie of location, beauty and comfort is unbeatable. All these are trumped by the service ( doorman, concierge, room service to reception) which is second to non. The atmosphere is pleasant, welcoming and relaxed yet all take their job and their customers very seriously. No sooner is your room phone off the hook, there is a responsive,... More

Stayed on business as well as visiting for a day previously. Service is without doubt 5*, nothing was too much trouble by all staff. Rooms were well equipped and a good size, if a little warm. Food first class. All guests who attended the event rated the hotel excellent. My only regret, was not staying for the weekend.

We stayed 3 nights at the de Russie during a week long vacation in Italy. We stayed there on recommendation from my travel agent who knows we like to travel 1st class. We were not disappointed in the least. Not only was the staff absolutely delightful from start to finish they made you feel so welcomed and glad you were... More

From the moment you are greeted at the door, your entry into utopia has begun. How do they combine a contemporary aesthetic with an old world feel? You are personally greeted from Christian the doorman to Bianca in the bar up to Mauro the very engaging hotel Manager. The rooms are luxuriously done with large bathrooms. Even the smaller rooms... Perfect location in the centre of all the sites and shops. The staff were so lovely. At great hotels you sometimes feel staff are snooty but this is definitely not the case here, they are so friendly and helpful - suggested some great restaurants and had tickets to the sites without us pre-ordering. Food is brilliant. Had both breakfast and... More

My family stayed at the Hotel de Russie for a week. We had a suite with a connecting room for our teenage children. The combination of the two accomodations amounted to us having a nice sized apartment! Every person who works at the hotel was wonderful, from the doorman to the reception desk staff to the concierge to the wait... More

A good hotel with a great concierge. The major plus of this hotel is its own piazza style gardens where the bar and breakfast can be enjoyed. A cool little place next to the good shopping streets and their restaurants..

Hotel is in a great location, the staff are helpful and friendly. The food is very good but restaurant hours were surprisingly limited, and often full during breakfast hours, the first morning we were told there was a 20min wait at 10, but a smaller menu was available in the bar! Disappointing for a 5 star. The rooms are not... More

I had heard about a hidden paradise in the middle of crowded center of Rome near Spanish steps but I was not sure what to expect...I became certain when the door opened and the fresh exotic flower collection stood in front of me If you cannot afford it,it is expensive,no doubt, come for a coffee,a refreshment of some georgeous finger food...but... Staying in Campo Marzio

Neighborhood Profile
Campo Marzio
From its original role as ancient army training fields to its present-day identity as one of the city’s most desirable neighborhoods, the Campo Marzio is the best place to get lost in Rome. Gorgeous Renaissance and Baroque palazzos line the streets, and are filled with enticing boutiques and food shops. By day, Rome’s best-dressed denizens criss-cross its streets in a fashionable parade of errands, occasionally pausing to look fabulous in gorgeous piazzas like San Lorenzo in Lucina. Campo Marzio can be a bit of a sleeper after aperitivi hour (9pm), so visit by day and experience the pulse of daytime Rome.
