The Piemonte is a good, clean three star hotel. It's five minutes from Termini and the metro so easy access to most places. Rooms are a nice size and air con works very well. Beds comfy with lots of pillows so slept well. The bathroom was small but adequate. The shower was a fine size just very close to the... More

The hotel is a 5 minute walk from Termini train station, which we arrived at from Fiucimino airport via Terravision bus 8 euros return, takes approx 30-40 mins. Room was a little dated, electronic blind and fridge didn't work, so we reported it, fridge was fixed but blinds weren't. Wifi worked well for us in room, no problems except you... More

I booked two rooms and stayed in the hotel for 3 nights with my family. The location of the hotel was very convenient to have access to public transportation such as train and bus. But we mostly had walk for the city sight seing as there were several historical places in the city on every corner of the streets.Rooms of... More

Room was fine and cleaned everyday but there was a disgusting smell from the bathroom which I complained about but nothing was done. Also between 6am and 9pm everyday there is a loud mechanical noise which vibrated the room!

Probably of the 5 hotels we stayed at in Europe, this was our least favorite. The best part is its close location to termini. The AC was good even in our hot august stay and wifi was moderately fast. The shower was to teeny tiny you could hardly move and breakfast was pretty bad for options. The worst part was... More

This hotel is just within 4 to 5 minutes walk from Roma Termini station. You can actually stroll your bag or take your rucksack and walk down to station to board long distance trains or city Metro. The Colosseum Metro is just 10 minutes in Metro which forms the meeting point for many Rome City tours. Coming to the room,... More

This is a nice little budget hotel in the centre of Rome. It is about a five minute walk from Termini where trains, buses and the Metro operate from. The rooms are a decent size and are kept very clean by the pleasant and helpful staff. Breakfast is a buffet affair and can be rolls, cheese, ham, yoghurt, cereals, croissants, fruit,... More

On arriving at the hotel it was hot and humid. Booking in was not too bad, reception area was very pleasant the reception staff was rather rude. I found it strange that all the tourist sightseeing broachers were kept at the back of the reception and had to ask for each one you wanted. On-going to our room we had... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
