Beautifully converted 17th-century palazzo. Five days into a two-week stay, I sprained my ankle badly and had to go to a hospital. I don't speak Italian and was traveling alone, so this was a daunting prospect. The duty officer at the American Embassy offered minimal help: "Ask the front desk at your hotel to help" was his advice, and luckily... More

We stayed in Rome conveniently located near the santa Maria cathedral. Only 10 minutes walk from the colosseum and only a 5 minute walk from the termini, made it a perfect location for our stay in Rome. The hotel was nice with friendly staff, the bathrooms could have been cleaner....breakfast is typical Italian style everything is sweet. In the area... More

We stayed in this hotel in June and were in Rome for a long weekend. The hotel is a 4*, however it is more like a 3*. The staff were nice and friendly and made us feel very welcome. The breakfast was OK. The best bit was the pastries, the rest was not really up to scratch. There is no... More

Lovely 4* hotel situated on a square next to the Basilica Santa Maria Maggiore decorated in old traditional Italian style. Lovely marble floors and comfortable lounges. Room was well furnished with a comfortable bed, nice linen and efficient air conditioning. Lovely en suite with bidet and large shower plus all you need including hair dryer and toiletries. We chose the... More

We selected this place based on TA reviews and we were not dissaponted. It's a 10 minute walk from the Termini station and is located opposite the church of St.Maggiore. The neighborhood has a lot of restaurants . The hotel is a Old hotel with a lot of character and has a nice courtyard and a library space . It... More

We stayed here with our kids while in Rome. Our kids are fairly young, and this hotel offered a suite that could hold all four of us. The hotel is definitely quaint, and historic. The staff was extremely friendly. The room was tiny, and the bathroom was smaller. I don't think you could change your mind in that bathroom. That... More

The Antico Palazzo Rospigliosi is the place you have to stay when visiting Rome. My wife and I stayed here in January 2013 while in Rome for our honeymoon and we loved every minute of it. At the end of our 8 day Amalfi Coast Food and Wine Tour we spent the last night at this hotel. While it is centrally located, that was the only good thing. The rooms were "cleaned" but the carpet, drapes and 25 year old bed covers etc. were so laden with cigarette smoke and dust it was gross. The bathroom... More
