Our stay at Antico Palazzo Rospigliosi was absolutely a delight! First it is really a Palace were a Pope resided. It has numerous resting rooms elegantly appointed, an enchanting interior courtyard, a breathtaking chapel, the restaurant associated to the hotel is a favorite of the local Italians, exquisite and very reasonably priced. We felt as if we were royalty at... More

Ideal place in rome which is reasonably priced and within walking distance or short metro ride from all of the main sights and locations. front desk staff is extremely accommodating and even was able to get me credit to use in next two years(on a non refundable room) when i had to depart earlier than expected. can't wait to visit... Stayed for 3 nights with family as a birthday treat. The location was excellent with the hotel opposite a beautiful church in front, with a hop on and hop off bus around the corner which was idea and a taxi rank across the street. Lots of lovely restaurants and shops nearby so very handy as you do not need any... More

From arriving at this hotel, we were met with nothing but friendliness, helpfulness and efficiency from all the staff. Rooms were cleaned daily to a very high degree. Breakfast was excellent. Also we enjoyed staying in a hotel with such an interesting history. Its situation, near the Colisseum, and within easy reach of a Metro, was ideal. We would certainly... More

This hotel is okay if you get a reasonable rate. It is not a 4-star hotel by US standards. It is a lovely old building in a splendid location: 10 minutes from Termini Station (close enough for convenience but far enough away from the questionable loiterers), across street from Santa Maggiore Basilica and her relaxed armed guards. The breakfast is... More

Not a bad place really, but could be so much better. Location is quite convenient, roughly halfway between the train station and the colosseum. Old, impressive building. They still have real single rooms, quite small but for the price I paid, no basis for complaint. (I booked at the negotiated rate of my contact in Rome. I might have ended... More

Pros: Good location, 5-7min walk to Termini station(subway and trains.) Spacious room, pretty quiet considering that our room was facing a busy street. Bathroom is also big. Good reception service. Breakfast is included but after 3 days it gets really boring(to our taste) because they serve the same food every morning. Can’t blame them for that. If you want cappuccino... More

Stayed the last six days in the hotel. I read previous reports and got to the hotel with an open mind. I must say that I have mixed feeling about the hotel but I can say that the issues that I did have are only minor and that overall not only is this a great hotel, I would definitely stay... More

My partner and I stayed at this hotel in May for 3 nights. We arrived at approximately 12pm so it was a little early to check in but the hotel was happy to take care of our luggage whilst we went and explored. There is a wash room and seating area in reception should you stay to wait for your... More

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel, it's in a really good position with a really good family restaurant around the corner, the room was comfortable, clean and a good size. All the staff are very welcoming and always very polite, there was a young Asian gentleman whom I found extremely polite. Traditional Rome breakfast I assume- was good, my... More
