Me and my mother stayed at this hotel last week. We were upgraded to this hotel from another hotel and happy we did, as this hotel was beautiful. The room was clean and a good size along with the bathroom along with wifi in the room. The staff were polite and friendly. The food buffet for breakfast was fresh and... More

Perfect location, quiet and safe. Clean and quaint rooms. Wonderful staff and a good daily breakfast. Highly recommended. This was our fourth visit to Rome; when we return, this is the hotel we will return to.

I was for the fifth time in this beautiful hotel. It was my birthday during the 3 night of stay. That night, when I came back to my room, I found a complimentary bottle of good italian champagne with a greetings card for my birthday. I was happily surprised. Rooms are comfortable and well furnished. They gave me a room... More

The location is nice even if Santa Maria Maggiore square is becoming dirty noisy and full of "nothing doing" people. The hotel needs urgent works regarding furniture water system and amenities (shampoo bath soap very poor) - the room I got had several serious problems above all the shower that was oxidized with dangling pieces. Breakfast nothing special, and about... More

Dear Mrs. Teresa, we have checked in our system and there is no match about your reservation and real stay in our hotel. We remain quite astonished by your comment about Santa Maria Maggiore Square. It could not be our fault if some non EU citizens have decided to meet in this square. The hotel was built in 1600, it... More

This is a historic hotel. Small rooms, smaller elevators! 3 people were allowed in the elevators at one time. It was very cozy, but comfortable. I was traveling with a tour group and finding places for luggage was a bit of a jump. The beds were very firm. Showers were tiny and a bit of a stretch to operate the... More

I found this hotel and suggested we stay here with some extended family while in Rome for a few days. It is pretty close to everything (.5 mile from colosseum and about 2.5 miles from Vatican City) and includes parking and a breakfast buffet. We had three rooms total and all but mine was pretty nice. My room, unfortunately, was... More

I am currently staying at this hotel and am loving it. I am here for a week and have two days left. I have been able to walk to all the sights and it is very close (5 min walk) to the main Termini station and the starting ointment for all the hop on open top buses. It is right... More

The location is great. Close to all major monuments. Walking distance to restaurants and cafe places. The rooms are clean and the staff friendly. The only downside is the wifi service. It barely reaches the room. If you need wifi you have to go to the patio. Overall I would recommend it to everyone.

Dear Client, We thank you for your stay in our hotel. We regret for the wi-fi signal not available in your room. The wi-fi service is always available in all of our rooms and in every public areas of the hotel. Sometimes one of the wi-fi repeters located everywhere in our building stops to work. Staying in Monti

Neighborhood Profile
Monti
Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighborhood just west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season, quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its cobblestone streets. The neighborhood supports unique and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime residents as well as hipsters on the hunt. Hang out at Piazza della Madonna dei Monti anytime after lunch and you'll always find something going on.
