From arriving at this hotel, we were met with nothing but friendliness, helpfulness and efficiency from all the staff. Rooms were cleaned daily to a very high degree. Breakfast was excellent. Also we enjoyed staying in a hotel with such an interesting history. Its situation, near the Colisseum, and within easy reach of a Metro, was ideal. We would certainly... More

This hotel is okay if you get a reasonable rate. It is not a 4-star hotel by US standards. It is a lovely old building in a splendid location: 10 minutes from Termini Station (close enough for convenience but far enough away from the questionable loiterers), across street from Santa Maggiore Basilica and her relaxed armed guards. The breakfast is... More

Not a bad place really, but could be so much better. Location is quite convenient, roughly halfway between the train station and the colosseum. Old, impressive building. They still have real single rooms, quite small but for the price I paid, no basis for complaint. (I booked at the negotiated rate of my contact in Rome. I might have ended... More

Pros: Good location, 5-7min walk to Termini station(subway and trains.) Spacious room, pretty quiet considering that our room was facing a busy street. Bathroom is also big. Good reception service. Breakfast is included but after 3 days it gets really boring(to our taste) because they serve the same food every morning. Can’t blame them for that. If you want cappuccino... More

Stayed the last six days in the hotel. I read previous reports and got to the hotel with an open mind. I must say that I have mixed feeling about the hotel but I can say that the issues that I did have are only minor and that overall not only is this a great hotel, I would definitely stay... More

My partner and I stayed at this hotel in May for 3 nights. We arrived at approximately 12pm so it was a little early to check in but the hotel was happy to take care of our luggage whilst we went and explored. There is a wash room and seating area in reception should you stay to wait for your... More

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel, it's in a really good position with a really good family restaurant around the corner, the room was comfortable, clean and a good size. All the staff are very welcoming and always very polite, there was a young Asian gentleman whom I found extremely polite. Traditional Rome breakfast I assume- was good, my... More

Well I have literally just returned from Antico and truth be told have been left with a very mixed review. This hotel is located in a very convenient location, with Termini (main station) a 5 mins walk, colosseum 15 mins and many attractions close by. Breakfast is reasonable, beds are comfortable, service is questionable. The reason I would say the... More

Dear Client, We are really surprised to read your words. We arranged all the services that you asked for the birthday of your girlfriend to be ready at 5.30 pm, as per your direct reconfirmation at the desk: 1. Sauvignon blanc with happy birthday card 2. Very rare bouquet of roses “Tourquise Blue” to do “Scattered Rose petals on beds”... More

Stayed here as a surprise break for my 50 th birthday celebrations and what a lovely hotel, we stayed in one of the front facing rooms which had a great view of the church outside. It was I thought nicely situated so most of the sights of Rome are within walking distance. The breakfast was very nice and served in... More

How come this hotel received 4 stars? The photographer who took the hotel pictures shown in the booking sites should get a medal for showing "unreal" corners of this hotel. Location is ok but don't compromise! The reception and the reception staff were unpleasant. The decor tired and dirty. The first room we have checked in was depressing. Unclean, stains... More

Dear Client, We really disclaim your opinion that is clearly defamatory. Your words comes from the anger you largely shown us on your arrival in the hotel. You arrived very nervous and disappointed. As per your words, your rented car had engine and electronic problem during your trip to Roma so that you had to call twice for assistance. For... More
