Hotel Julia is in a great location. It is close to the metro, buses and favorite sights but it is on a side street (quiet). I only needed to stay one night. I was able to throw my bags down after traveling from a 7 day stay in Assisi. I booked the hotel knowing that I wanted to make it... more

Hotel is in a great location - very close to Trevi fountain/Spanish Steps/metro etc. The rooms were clean and tidy and had a security box. Our rooms faced onto the road and so were quite noisy. You could also hear people in other rooms, albeit not loudly. Our shower head was slightly loose so the water trickled out. For the... more

Clean basic Hotel. Ideally positioned for Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps and other places of interest. We would stay there again. more

The location is really good - about 5 minutes to the Trevi fountain and lots of nice restaurants. There is no need to book a tourist bus tour because all the major sights are in walking distance (Colosseum, Vatican 15-20 minutes) If you book this hotel make sure that you ask for a quiet room. A friend of mine arrived... more

Stayed 4 nights at Hotel Julia in August at the start of the three week trip around Italy. The location was great, it was clean & quiet and that is all there is to rave about. The location was fantastic. 5mins walk to the Trevi, Via Del Corso, Spanish Steps. Piazza Venizia and other sites are not very much further.... more

The location of this hotel is fantastic, which is what you pay for. It is walking distance from nearly everything but the Vatican and the Coliseum, which can be easily reached via the subway. The rooms are very basic and the breakfast left a lot to be desired. However, it was quiet, comfortable and a good value if you are... more

A friend recommended this hotel to us and I booked it directly via email with the hotel. We stayed at Hotel Julia in Rome from June 15-20. We travelled to Venice and Florence and returned to stay for 2 more nights at Hotel Julia again before returning home to Canada. The location is extremely convenient - very close to the... more

This was our second stay at the Julia. We knew from our previous visit that the rooms weren't anything special. However, this time I really noticed that the beds were terrible-- springs in my back, it was very loud, and the breakfast after staying at other hotels left a lot to be desired. The location is good though--- easy walking... more

I only got to stay one night here, had a single room but it would have done nicely if I was here more nights. Location is good, close to the sights, (spanish steps etc.) Did hear some street noise but it didn't bother me. more
