I had booked here on the basis of past reviews on TA. Turns out I was given a tiny dingy room for one with no aircon in the height of summer. The upper floors were disgusting and unventilated. I would not have let my pet dog stay there. I moved to a hotel nearby that was significantly better and charging... More

Nothing outstanding about this hotel except the value and the location. If you are reasonably mobile, you will not need transport other than your own two feet to see almost all the important sights in Rome. Perfect budget base for the serious tourist.

Stayed at Hotel Julia for 6 days. WE were given a a comfortable large room. Friendly staff. The main attraction is the location, right in the centre of Rome, walking distance to most sites and many restaurants. Near Trevi Fountain and Spanish steps. Walking distance to Barberi train and close to Termini.

Me and my wife spent a very nice 3 days getaway in Rome in Hotel Julia. Room was not very large, as expected in that area, but clean and confortable. Very close to the subway station and in walking distance of Fontana di Trevi. A lot of bars and restaurants in the area. The only minus of the place would... More

No complaints. I have been to Rome quite a few times now and I knew I wanted to stay in this area. Close to the city centre but quiet enough. Withing walking distance to the Fontana di Trevi, my favourite restaurant in Rome and everything you will probably want to see in Rome. No need to take the public transport.... More

This was a good hotel for a three night stay Good points - Fantastic location - Great staff. There is one guy, Paulo I think who worked mornings. He was fantastic, provided us with a tour every day and gave great advice - The breakfast was Ok Not so good points - we were 'upgraded' to an apartment across the... More

I stayed on the 1st floor and the wifi was terrible. My sister was on the 2nd floor and her wifi was great. Very thin walls, I could hear the person next door TV every night like I was sitting in his room with him! There was also a man who coughed up a lung, followed by a spit down... More

The room was clean, wifi was working well. It was quiet and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was on avarage.... More

3 adults stayed for 2 nights in April 2015. We had previously arranged with the hotel (by email) to have a driver meet us at the airport. This was well worth the $55 Euros. Check in was smooth and English was spoken at the desk. There is an elevator in the building. Our room was a triple, 3 single beds... More

Staying in Trevi

Neighborhood Profile
Trevi
A non-stop photo and souvenir opportunity, Trevi is all about action. From early morning through the wee hours, the piazza surrounding Trevi Fountain hosts a never-ending flow of tourists hoping to make a wish or take a selfie. Clever restaurants, charming gelaterias, uncanny bars, kitsch shops, and a range of hotels make up the local landscape. Beneath the bustle are the remains of an ancient neighborhood that you can visit by heading over to a repertoire cinema and asking for a peek underground. There is something for everyone, but if peace and quiet are what you seek, plan to visit in the early morning hours.
