We stayed in a hotel apartment about 200 yds from the hotel which was lovely. Went in through huge doors into a courtyard with statues and fountains, felt very Roman. The apartment had a great shower and modern facilities, 2 tvs, comfortable bed and was fairly quiet. Only thing we didnt like was one very small window looking out onto... more

Best feature is the location -- the center of old Rome -- nearby streets safe day and night. Our room, in the main building, was large and clean with a comfortable bed; large bath room with lavatory, toilet, bidet, and shower (which was a little on the small size, but certainly adequate). Windows in bath and bedroom allowing cross ventilation.... more

On booking into the Hotel Trevi we had to wait for hours-late afternoon until getting our room. We found ourselves not staying in the actual hotel but being taken up the road to a 5th floor studio. Quite roomy, very new and obviously not completed as electrical wiring had not been finished and joinery not completed. View was overlooking rooftops.... more

The good stuff - Great Location, easy walking distance of all major attractions. The bad stuff - practically everything else about the Hotel. It was hard to find (Taxi dropped us off in another road because access is bad), staff attitude was lousy - many of them could not or would not speak English. Room was tiny with cabin style... more

We stayed in a studio up the street for 4 nights. It was clean with second floor, quite small the problem was it was very gloomy - one window overlooking the back of a statue about 0.4 sq.meters(that will be 44 sq. feet). We just slept there quite tired so it didn't matter. Truth is, Rome is a location itself. Overall... more

thanks to prev reviews we knew what to expect: small clean rooms in perfect location, all true. we stayed with 4 small children who loved running to the fountain every morning. Short walk to bus stops for all locations. Breakfast perfectly adequate. Bell boy carried ALL our luggage up and down from rooms on arrival and departure. Thanks to previous... more

Be extra careful when booking. They can tell you that they are overbooked and try to put you in a different hotel (they have five of them on other locations). After an argument we kept the fountain Trevi location but on a fourth floor in a building without elevator... more

There is no doubt that the hotel is well located, this was one of the reasons why we selected this hotel, however there were two specific requirements that we indicated in our initial selection in Expedia that were NOT met: AIR CONDITIONING ROOMS: the Air Conditioning system is very poor and inadequate to provide comfort. The electrical system in each... more
