Perhaps I am a creature of habit and that is why sometimes I repeat visits to places, or else it is because I liked the place! The fact is that the convenience and experience that I have had at Hotel Trevi drew me back there again in January. It is quite true that there is a temporary minor inconvenience with... More

We booked this hotel 3 weeks in advance because we wanted somewhere central and modern. The pictures on the website look great don't they? However, when we turned up, we were told we could not be accommodated due to essential planned maintenance works. I had only emailed the hotel a few days previously to advise that the trip was for... We booked this hotel for the location, but weren't sure what to expect based on the mixed reviews. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast had plenty of choice and you could eat as much as you liked. We had a room on the front of the hotel, with a window to the alley. This was a bit dark, but not... More

Everything about this hotel was great. All the staff were polite and helpful. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Breakfast was very good, plenty to choose from. Couldn't get a better position for sightseeing. Would reccomend it to every one.

Booked for special occasion, and was thoroughly pleased. Hotel room very small but that was clearly advertised so not annoyed. Staff very helpful and breakfasts excellent. This hotel holds a top spot for touring Rome and enables you to visit the majority of attractions by walking, only the tiny room holds the score back.

Well what a fantastic location for our first trip to Rome. The staff where great and very friendly. The breakfasts we both thought where excellent with plenty of choice. We could walk to all the top spots with no difficulty. Shame the fountain is covered by scaffolding for restoration work as it really is on the doorstep. The rooms ha... More

we were were exhusted when arrived & then taken to a room which was smaller than my bathroom & not in as good condition. We asked for another which was even worse, like a dungeon. The "boy" as he was called by reception was a good sport though& finally we paid extra 60Euros & we were given a room in another... More

This hotel can not be beaten for location, as it is literally a stone's throw from Trevi Fountain. We had a room in the annexe, which suited us just fine apart from the lack of natural light (only had one tiny window up by the ceiling). Breakfast is rather average though, I would probably eat elsewhere if I were ever... More

Great location, very clean, staff very helpful. Pity the fountain had scaffolding around it and empty. Still u are among all the restaurants and sights. Close to Vatican within walking distance. We walked everywhere.

We stayed here for three nights in May. The hotel is so close to the Trevi fountain and finding ourselves within walking distance to the train as well was perfect. The hotel itself is tired and old and nothing too exciting. Our morning breakfast was very nice and overall in a crazy busy city this hotel was not bad.

Staying in Trevi

Neighborhood Profile
Trevi
A non-stop photo and souvenir opportunity, Trevi is all about action. From early morning through the wee hours, the piazza surrounding Trevi Fountain hosts a never-ending flow of tourists hoping to make a wish or take a selfie. Clever restaurants, charming gelaterias, uncanny bars, kitsch shops, and a range of hotels make up the local landscape. Beneath the bustle are the remains of an ancient neighborhood that you can visit by heading over to a repertoire cinema and asking for a peek underground. There is something for everyone, but if peace and quiet are what you seek, plan to visit in the early morning hours.
