We stayed in this hotel as part of a holiday to Rome. We are a young couple. We booked through booking.com. It should be noted that the Rome city tax of 4 euros per person per night will need to be paid on top of the booking cost. Location: The hotels is located a 5 minute walk from Republicca metro... This is an older Hotel, but is has been very well maintained and looked as if it has been newly renovated. The staff could be a little more hospitable, but other than that, we had a great stay. The room was comfortable. The bathroom was a little small, but expected since it was an older building. As for the breakfast,... More

My family of 5 stayed here 3 nights. Good, very clean hotel in a nice neighborhood. Breakfast was delicious and the breakfast room was very pretty. The rooms were a little small and the beds were too firm for our liking, but this may suit others. Really not an easy walk to anything except the Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain... More

We stayed for 5 nights. Hotel is very clean. Staff very helpful. We got the larger room, which was good for a long stay. Separate shower and tub, 2 sinks in bath. Bed very comfortable! Location, not perfect, but good enough if it isn't too hot out. We used the Metro, but also walked a lot. Bus stop across from... More

Hotel Ranieri was a great selection for our first trip to Rome. The room was very clean and comfortable. The size of the room was small, but that is simply the reality in Rome. The staff were very helpful and recommended great local restaurants.

Sadly my family and I never made it to Europe. We were supposed to have a 4 day stop in Rome at the Ranieri Hotel, but due to illness we had to cancel our trip. The Hotel Ranieri was very understanding and cancelled our hotel rooms at no charge. We hope to go soon and visit Rome and of course... More

Hi I travelled with my sister and niece for my 60th Birthday for 3days. I really enjoyed my holiday and the hotel really helped. Its situated in a good location close to the metro and bus service which are both very reliable. We saw everything you needed to see within the three days but when in Rome you must walk.... More

I stay at many hotels in Rome for 30 years. I left an apt because I broke my shoulder and needed a bathtub and friends to help me. The desk person gave my friend such a hard time as he was helping me check in with my luggage cause he had no I D. He was with me. They had... More

The hotel is located in a quiet charming neighborhood..... The staff are so friendly, so helpful.... They got us tickets to the Villa Borghese with ease and a smile. Also, the free breakfast was delicious and a great way to start the day.

We stayed four nights here as our base in Roma and visited most of the places - including the best of gelato in Rome (La Romana) on the same street just a block away. The bed is very comfortable and clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful and choice of breakfast including scramble eggs, bacon and other variety of... More

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
