Stayed 5 nights in May. For the first time staying at Ranieri I was unhappy upon checking in (3rd visit) – I arrived the Friday of a long weekend, and ended up in a small room with a twin bed, despite booking the way I always had. The hotel was fully booked, so there was nothing that could be done.... More

Since the year 2000 I have watched this hotel grow cheery, elegant , welcoming .In fact I think Rome is the same, colorful and inviting, chic and yet bouncy, youthful and kind. At the Ranieri food at mealtime is plentiful,it suits many tastebuds, and it is attractive ,appetizingA great collection of wines is on display. The hotel with everywhere Murano like windows and... My family arrived for a 3 day layover in Rome before visiting Florence. The hotel was charming, the staff was wonderful - very helpful with directions/public transportation, restaurant suggestions, and the room was very comfortable, clean, spacious, with a refrigerator, flat screen TV, etc. The location was ideal for us, near the subway, buses and train station. The neighborhood was... More

We spent 4 days at the Ranieri Hotel and we really had a great time. Very friendly and helpful staff, nice lounge and bar area, excellent breakfast, comfortable room with free wifi ( we asked for a quite room and they gave as a room facing at the courtyard, and it was simply perfect). Brilliant location, close to the major... More

Just stayed at the Ranieri for the second time. Great hotel. Staff are friendly and exceptionally helpful. Rooms are a decent size and very clean and the prices are very reasonable. Location is ideal, walking distance from both Termini and the metro at Repubblica, but also decent walking distance to most of the sites in the Centro Storico. This hotel... More

I stayed in this fantastic hotel before, and again it's my first choice in Rome, the staff is very welcoming and friendy, they made me feel at home. Just a few blocks from the train station, it's very central. This is definitely my hotel every time I'm in Rome..

The staff is small but very helpful. The hotel is located for easy access to all of Rome and a 10-20 min walk from the train station. They provided an excellent buffet breakfast every morning. The room was quiet but a bit cramped by American standards. The elevator is small so you may have to take 2 trips to move... More

Me and my wife visited Rome last December. We stayed at Ranieri hotel because of it's location and affordable price. The room was on the second floor with the windows facing the main street. During December the windows stayed closed at night so it was quiet and warm. The personal was very friendly, the breakfast was a regular cold breakfast, but... More

I enjoyed a very pleasant stay for four days. Hotel very quiet, spacious rooms, very clean. Breakfast above average (at least for Rome). Friendly staff, helped us to make reservations at museums. Location perfect for those who want to visit Rome. I recommend it for tourists.

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
