Just stayed at the Ranieri for the second time. Great hotel. Staff are friendly and exceptionally helpful. Rooms are a decent size and very clean and the prices are very reasonable. Location is ideal, walking distance from both Termini and the metro at Repubblica, but also decent walking distance to most of the sites in the Centro Storico. This hotel... More

I stayed in this fantastic hotel before, and again it's my first choice in Rome, the staff is very welcoming and friendy, they made me feel at home. Just a few blocks from the train station, it's very central. This is definitely my hotel every time I'm in Rome..

The staff is small but very helpful. The hotel is located for easy access to all of Rome and a 10-20 min walk from the train station. They provided an excellent buffet breakfast every morning. The room was quiet but a bit cramped by American standards. The elevator is small so you may have to take 2 trips to move... More

Me and my wife visited Rome last December. We stayed at Ranieri hotel because of it's location and affordable price. The room was on the second floor with the windows facing the main street. During December the windows stayed closed at night so it was quiet and warm. The personal was very friendly, the breakfast was a regular cold breakfast, but... More

I enjoyed a very pleasant stay for four days. Hotel very quiet, spacious rooms, very clean. Breakfast above average (at least for Rome). Friendly staff, helped us to make reservations at museums. Location perfect for those who want to visit Rome. I recommend it for tourists.

We wanted something close to train station so we got this hotel. Very good value for money. Rooms were average size. Bathrooms clean with decent water pressure and bath. Bed sheets clean. Its a 10 min brisk walk to train station and 20 min walk with luggage. Even though the hotel is 10 min walk - i would have preferred... More

The rooms are beautiful, modern and elegant. The bathroom was spacious. The room was very clean and tidy. There was no traffic noise (windows to the court). Staff very helpful and friendly. Lounge area comfortable and elegant. The breakfast is more versatile than the typical Italian sweet breakfast. The only minus was that the zircon was turned off at night.... More

The location is good, as we were able to walk to almost everything, we even did the coliseum from the hotel, although its a good hike. The hotel and room was very clean and charming. The breakfast was satisfactory and in keeping with the size of the hotel. The staff was very helpful and we enjoyed our conversations at the... More

If location is important to you then this hotel is good. It is also quaint with its spiral staircases and elegant looking rooms. However, the bed was terrible (my husband said it felt like sleeping on a stack of cardboard) and I am used to sleeping on hard European mattresses. The service was not great either, except for one young... More

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
