So it's away from the sites but the rooms are comfortable and the staff is nice. The wifi is pretty good for Italy and while you are away from the sites it's not too far that you can't walk to them. The bed and breakfast is pretty limited as well. I don't know that I would stay here again if... More

This hotel is idealy located close to all of the main tourist attractions in Rome. It is a 10 minute walk to the Rome Termini central rail station and from there you are about a 20 minute walk to the Trevi fountain, Panthanon, Spanish steps and the Colosium. The hotel breakfast is on the lower floor, opens at 7am and... More

Stayed for 2 nights in mid August. It is within walking distance of the Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps and the Colosseum. It is a standard three star hotel - clean and convenient. Breakfast buffet in the basement was simple, but adequate. Free Wi-fi was good. We did have a strange incident where we got stuck for 20 mins in the... More

This was our second stay at The Hotel Ranieri (with a two year gap in between). What was lovely was that everyone remembered us and treated us like old friends. The staff couldn't be more friendly, patient or helpful. All the receptionists couldn't do enough for us. The rooms we had on both occasions were very clean, comfortable and cool,... More

We loved this little hotel. They said yes to basically everything we asked for, an ice bucket, ice during breakfast, use of the lounge while we waited for our flight etc. They were very accommodating. I personally was looking for a hotel with a 24 hour front desk, air conditioning and a good breakfast with some protein in it which... More

We arrived at mid day, and as our rooms were not yet ready, the receptionist advised us to wait in the lounge. Our first impressions were that the hotel looked rather dated, and we were quiteapprehensive, as to what our rooms would be like. However, we were pleasantly surprised, as the rooms. although basic, were spacious, with AC ( which... More

We stayed in this hotel as part of a holiday to Rome. We are a young couple. We booked through booking.com. It should be noted that the Rome city tax of 4 euros per person per night will need to be paid on top of the booking cost. Location: The hotels is located a 5 minute walk from Republicca metro... This is an older Hotel, but is has been very well maintained and looked as if it has been newly renovated. The staff could be a little more hospitable, but other than that, we had a great stay. The room was comfortable. The bathroom was a little small, but expected since it was an older building. As for the breakfast,... More

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
