This time we chose Ranieri that provided us what we really respect. It was clean, elegant, quiet and great location. Except Vatican all attractions within 5-20 min walk. Good bus and underground connections if going outside of city center. Good breakfast, nice and helpfull staff. A couple of years ago we´ve had two bad hotel experiences in Rome (two different... Have spent a week at the Ranieri in a Junior Suite. A superb hotel, friendly and helpful staff, very clean, excellent breakfast, very comfortable bed, all in all a wonderful stay. No other place for us to stay if and when we return to Rome. Walked everywhere, Vatican, Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Pantheon and we are both mid sixties.... More

Location is close to train which you need for The Vatican and Colosseum. If you are a walker you can walk several places pathenon, spanish steps and trevi fountain which are not far at all. Location was decent because of the train i would not recommend the bus.

We stayed at the Hotel Ranieri Rome for 5 nights. We discovered after the first night that the hotel's location was FAR away from the city center and all of the attractions of Rome. We had to take a bus to get anywhere, the bus stop was very close to the hotel, but we had to wait an average of... More

I was alone and the staff were so friendly and offered suggestions on top attractions. I loved Rome so much, i walked to 3 differents train stations from here. Location perfect for many restaurants and amazing ice creams . I had a good buffet breakfast to last me all day.

Quiet area with lots of nice and pricey tavernas and restaurants nearby. Can specially recommend Fiaschetteria Marini at Via Raffaele Cadorna 9 and Osteria Quarantaquattro (44) at Via Aureliana 42/44. The room was simple but clean with comfy beds. We had the window facing the courtyard: an ugly but quiet place. The breakfast was really good for being in Italy:... More

This was a lovely hotel in a handy location for transport, sites, restaurants and bars. Clean bedroom and en suite. Great buffet breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice little bar where we enjoyed a relaxing drink after busy days site seeing.

As noted by other reviewers, the Ranieri in Rome is a comfortable little hotel with a super location. I too had a great experience with the front desk staff and the housekeepers, and the breakfast was better than average. My one gripe is that the hotel website does not show pictures of the "classic" room--it only shows the more expensive... More

Spent 4 nights in September. Staff friendly and helpful. Room decent size for a short break. Breakfast adequate, hotel bar nice and reasonable prices with generous measures. Easy to walk to metro stops and buses outside hotel which are useful to access some areas of the city.
