If you need just a place to sleep then the Hotel Quattro Fontance is quite enough. The rooms are tiny, so they are not really enjoyable to stay longer in the room. The breakfast in the morning, which is included, is quite good. They have a selection of chaning food.

Stayed for 2 nights before xmas. I was impressed when I came into reception as this area seems quite posh, the room however was not so much. Our room was one where you climb wooden steps which are quite steep to get to bed, please be aware of this if you are elderly or have mobility problems, my mum for... More

More

Small quaint rooms with tile floors and rugs, free room safe, refrigerator, no iron. You have to pay to have your clothes ironed. Internet is 5 euros for two days. I had a shower, I don't know if there are any tubs in the rooms.NO ELEVATORS. I was on the 3rd floor. Nicely modern decorated front and hallways. Lovely patio.... More

As a first visit to Rome, and not being able to relate the location on a map to where we might be, we were somewhat concerned to read the reviews on Tripadvisor. However, we have to say that we were more than pleasantly surprised. From first walking into the hotel to be greeted by a warm smile and information that... More

The photos of the rooms on the website are very misleading. We had a tiny twin room, not much room around the single beds which were pushed together. I don't think our neighbours rooms were much bigger either. However, the staff were friendly and helpful, although obviously on commission to sell you tours and car service to the airport. The... We stayed here in 2007. Loved the location. It was basic and well placed. There was laundry down the road, a general dealer a couple of shops down. It was clean and simple. The aircon was not great - 36 degree celcius weather made things a little uncomfortable. However, that was not problem for us. Breakfasts were fine - small... More

Everything about this place is old and bad. Staff - Awful! Since when is not possible to pay separate bills, me and my friend sent a few things to the laundry and when wanting to pay each other it's corresponding part we were told it was not possible because of the commission the bank charges. Stayed in this hotel for a three night break with my husband and two young children whilst visiting Rome. It is perfectly situated for visiting lots of the tourist attractions which are within easy walking distance. Despite it being quite basic, it was clean with friendly helpful staff. My children loved our room which was completely different from anything we'd... More

Pros: Central location with easy access to metro (next block) and train (10 min walk). Walking distance to main sights. Rooms and toilet were clean. Wifi. Cons: small rooms with poor air conditioning, no sound proofing (to other rooms), poor breakfast. Poor wifi. So, it's good for you if you like central location, don't mind little noises during night and... More

Staying in Trevi

Neighborhood Profile
Trevi
A non-stop photo and souvenir opportunity, Trevi is all about action. From early morning through the wee hours, the piazza surrounding Trevi Fountain hosts a never-ending flow of tourists hoping to make a wish or take a selfie. Clever restaurants, charming gelaterias, uncanny bars, kitsch shops, and a range of hotels make up the local landscape. Beneath the bustle are the remains of an ancient neighborhood that you can visit by heading over to a repertoire cinema and asking for a peek underground. There is something for everyone, but if peace and quiet are what you seek, plan to visit in the early morning hours.
