This is a very cute boutique hotel in the perfect location in Rome. You are within walking distance to everything. The staff is very helpful, the rooms are large and clean, the bathrooms are a bit small, and, if you have a lot of luggage, there are no elevators. The no elevators and small bathrooms are the reason for the... More

Stayed at Residenza Frattina on a recent trip to Rome and really enjoyed it. It is locate dup several flights if stairs in a massive traditional Roman town house but is well worth the effort. The hotel is relatively small and the reception staff provide a very personal service, remembering your room number, asking about your day and they are... More

Hotel was very old but most comfortable. The room that we had was such a surprise a big circular bed in the middle of a large room with stained glass windows, the only down side to this was that there was not much natural light. But the size made up for that. Breakfast was excellent with plenty to choose from. The... More

The location of this hotel is excellent being close by to most major attractions including the Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps and and eateries and shops. We were four adults and stayed in a spacious room with two double beds located close to the breakfast room. The wifi was great with no issues. The bathroom was nice and spacious and... More

Great location. Nice down to earth hotel as long as you're not expecting a view. A few tatty touches such as peeling wallpaper in the lounge/breakfast area. I would expect a better finish for the room prices. But hey this is rome. The breakfast is very good with a great selection & staff are attentive with coffee & tea. On... More

To be honest despite the elegance of the breakfast room, the pleasantness of the staff and the location I was disappointed by this hotel. The positives are its great location. We walked everywhere for five days and there was a nice bar/café making good coffee nearby, which was a bonus at the start and end of a day. However, I... More

This bed and breakfast hotel is centrally situated and within easy walking distance of many key attractions. The Trevi fountain and Spanish steps are just a few minutes away, with the Pantheon and Piazza Navona within ten to fifteen minutes walk. If you have walked as far as Piazza Nuvona take on the extra fifteen minutes to walk down to... More

A brilliant location in Rome, seconds from the Spanish Steps and minutes from the Trevi Fountain and Pantheon. An old building, a couple of floors up from the main street. Individual rooms with very comfy, memory foam beds. Minimal but free mini-bar, free teas/coffees all day with cakes, small but good quality breakfast. Staff were all very friendly and helpful,... A great place to stay with a family and visit all the main sights, from Ancient Rome, through Centro Storico, Trevi and Quirinale to Villa Borghese on foot. The only thing, avoid the Rome Zoo, one of the saddest ever.

Staying in Campo Marzio

Neighborhood Profile
Campo Marzio
From its original role as ancient army training fields to its present-day identity as one of the city’s most desirable neighborhoods, the Campo Marzio is the best place to get lost in Rome. Gorgeous Renaissance and Baroque palazzos line the streets, and are filled with enticing boutiques and food shops. By day, Rome’s best-dressed denizens criss-cross its streets in a fashionable parade of errands, occasionally pausing to look fabulous in gorgeous piazzas like San Lorenzo in Lucina. Campo Marzio can be a bit of a sleeper after aperitivi hour (9pm), so visit by day and experience the pulse of daytime Rome.
