Good location, close to Termini station. Easy access to the city centre. Helpful receptionist, very old elevator! Bedroom is small, old furniture , no view. Breakfast not a wide selection of choices. However an average 3* hotel, nothing more that you would expect.

This hotel is located quite near Termini so it is easy to arrive from airport. We came with Leonardo da Vinci-train and returned with bus which was much cheaper and the bus stop was on the street corner. With metro it was easy to go to Vatican and Colosseum and then walking back seeing the city and finding restaurants to... More

This hotel is less than a block from the train station in Rome which makes the location ideal. I was pleasantly surprised with our room. It was cleaner and larger than our hotel room in Venice which was supposedly a 4 star hotel (and obviously quite a bit more expensive). We just needed a room for one night because we... More

I booked the Rimini Hotel for a three night break in Rome, it was perfectly located less than 2 minutes walk from the train terminal 'Termini' in the centre of Rome. We asked for a top floor - floor 6 which was great as I think maybe on a lower floor you could be disturbed by noise from the busy... More

Hotel Rimini is perfectly placed to explore Rome. About 100 M from Termini where all tours start and buses and trains from the airports go. (Be careful of the little friendly lady who will offer to direct you and then charge grandly) The rooms are small but if you get a balcony it will be as big as the room... More

Paid to have an upgrade €10 per night to have a terrace. It feels like the upgrade gave us a much better room. Spacious, clean and tidy. Not seen the normal rooms though. Man in reception was a bit gruff, but seems like a typical Italian. Really convenient to the station, great for exploring Rome and dead easy to get... More

Convenient for travellers using Rome Termini train station. Hotel Rimini is two blocks from the station with shopping concourse & two supermarkets. Friendly lobby staff & elevator for luggage to the room, which was small but clean with private bathroom. Excellent buffet breakfast in a top floor lounge with panoramic views over Rome's churches. Worth taking photos. I would stay... More

Great location , close to Termini, our room was pleasant enough clean and tidy , quite a big bathroom ,no tea or coffee making facilities in the room at all so you need to wait until breakfast for a hot drink, we only had breakfast 1 morning and weren't impressed at all , we stayed 5 nights ,the lift is... This is a budget hotel and that is reflected in the room and the food. Hotel was clean and tidy and the staff were quite friendly and helpful, A great location for exploring Rome. The open top bus stops nearby and it is near the station which suited us as we had two night in Rome before going on a... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
