Not a great looker from the outside as a single doorway into the hotel denotes the location. Reception small but efficient with short corridor to lift and stairs. Lift is tiny just cases and two people but adequate. The room 603 was basic but clean and quite acceptable for its star rating. Bed was very comfy and bedding and towels... More

The hotel is located near Termini Station. Very good connection of public transport from/to the airport and with every major important place. Rooms are small but clean. Breakfast is ok. Would stay there again.

We stayed here as part of a BA package. We chose it because of the location more than anything else. The bus from the airport stops litterally 2 minutes walk away. Also it is very easy to walk to the main sights from here. We are so pleased that we chose to stay here , the staff were all very pleasant... More

We were booked into this hotel by our travel agent as we wanted accommodation close to Roma Termini to catch the early morning train to Venice. It took about five minutes to get from the Hotel to our seat on the train. Full breakfast available and reasonable restaurants close by. Clean room. Stayed three nights October 2014.

We stayed here for a week , the room was booked as a vacation package. This hotel is right next door to the Roma Termini which is very convenient. When we checked in , we were given a room on the 7th floor , this room was so small that it barely is large enough to fit the bed. The... More

I stayed here recently on a trip with my boyfriend for his birthday. I was initially cautious due to the reviews about Termini Station (moreso of the people surrounding it) and whilst I can understand the worries, there are a lot of people around, if you are streetwise, you'll be fine. The hotel was so easy to find. You walk... More

We were lucky enough to be upgraded to the top floor, it was fine it would make a good family room. To be fair it is not the best hotel we stayed in, but what did it matter the location outweighed everything. It was so easy to find when we arrived in on the train, pretty shattered from nearly 30... The Rimini is less than a block away from Termini which is highly convenient for arrival/departure by international, national and local train, including the airport train (hotel lift means luggage is easily transported to one's room). A major bus depot is directly in front of the station, accommodating those who want to get around Rome other than on foot or... More

Hotel Rimini is about 2 mins walk from the Termini. We stayed on the 4th floor. There is a small elevator which really only fits 1 person and 2 suitcases or 3 people. We mostly used it just for going up as there are a LOT if stairs. Our room was spacious, and included a queen size bed, a wardrobe... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
