Did not expect too much before arriving and was positively surprised. Very nice hotel, super friendly staff, excellent food including a good breakfast buffet for Italian standards. Rooms were quiet and spacious. We had a small workshop and used the conference facilities, which were perfect at least for smaller groups (up to 6 people, at least). Location is also perfect.,... I got back to London on Friday following a 5 night stay at the Rose Garden Palace with my partner. We were celebrating our 2 year anniversary. From the second I booked the hotel I knew I'd made the right decision! Positives: - preordered a bottle of Veuve Clicquot to be in room at specific time, it arrived with a... More

This place was perfect for us. After 4 weeks on the road the rooms was comfortable , spacious and the bed was great. Had dinner in the restaurant a couple of times and loved the food. The only down side was the restaurant / bar service was slow during the week as not enough staff on deck.

Great value for the dollar with outstanding breakfast and service! The location was excellent near the "Spanish Steps" and wonderful shopping. Fitness Center and pool were a plus! I booked this room through AAA travel and they highly recommended it. It had a nice bar with good selection of wines. The staff spoke very good English and were very helpful... More

Rose Garden Palace did NOT live up to it's good reviews. AC did not work in my room. Same thing happened to my friend. He got moved to another room with good AC. 3 other couples I travelled with all had AC. I complained and asked for a new room. I was told, "We will fix it or move you... More

We stayed here for a few nights and loved it! When you walk in you are greeted by the very professional and extremely helpful staff, we even had an impromptu Italian lesson from one of the staff, it was great. The rooms are spacious and very well appointed and the beds are big and comfortable. The breakfasts are great, with... More

This was our first visit to Rome when we recently stayed at the Rose Garden Palace hotel. There are so many hotels to choose from, we certainly didn't find it easy to pick this one out but we are so glad we did! Everything is within walking distance and really close to Villa Borghese. The hotel is lovely, breakfast is... More

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
