We stayed here for four days while visiting Rome. Nice location, close to sights but in a quiet park of town. Staff was exceptional and always ready to help. Very accommodating for our small dog. Restaurant had good food as well. Beware of laundry service, it gets very expensive. We would stay there again. Thanks.

This is a hotel we have stayed in several times and have already booked again for next spring. That says it all! It is well located close enough to all sites on foot and at the same time pleasantly quiet. There are good restaurants very close by. The rooms are comfortable with good beds and clean. The jacuzzi pool is... More

This hotel is perfect for an American in Rome. We loved the coffee. American breakfast. And walking to the Spanish Steps and Borguese Gardens. The staff is friendly and helpful. I would stay here again when I return to Rome.

We stayed there from 19th to 22nd of May, found through Ventes Privées a French website, we were impressed by the high class looking and still a comfortable feeling, with good people taking care of your staying! Very nice to recommend, perhaps cost could be high in high season, so to try in low or mid season! Location closed to... More

We stayed at this property recently during a trip through Italy. The hotel is very well located, across the street from the American embassy, two blocks from Via Veneto and about three blocks south of Villa Borghese. It is a short downhill walk to Piazza Barberini and a short stroll to the Spanish steps. When judged alongside other European hotels,... More

We were very pleased with this hotel. It is not really centrally located but the hustle and bustle of Rome was only about 10 minutes' walk away and at the end of a hot day's sightseeing it was lovely to return to the slightly cooler temperatures of the tree lined streets and to relax in the sauna and jacuzzi (although... The Rose Garden Palace is beautifully located across the street from the American Embassy; as a result, too many Americans populate the rooms. The rooms, however, are beautifully decorated and perfectly maintained. My only complaint is that the breakfast was mediocre, as was the breakfast service, given the cost of the stay.

Dear jfa762, First of all many thanks for your review. We are extremely sorry to realize such a discontent from your side about breakfast, which is generally appreciated. I chose this hotel for the swimming pool and was not disappointed. After a long day of sightseeing, it was great to take a dip in the lovely indoor pool at this hotel. My room was very large with high ceilings and a walk-in closet. Bathroom was gorgeous. View was nothing special and the crowd at breakfast was not particularly... More

Dear Celia M, Thank You for your time in posting your great review about your recent stay at Rose Garden Palace, It is a pleasure to know that you appreciated our rooms and our bed. We spent 4 night here at the end of April to celebrate my husbands 70th birthday. He had never been to Rome, so I wanted to find a nice hotel, near to the sights, but not too busy or noisy. We were allocated room 314 on the 3rd floor. Quite a large room with a view over the courtyard garden/bar,... More

This hotel was amazing. We arrived a day late due to our flights being cancelled due to a fire at the airport. Upon arrival Marco the manger quickly got us checked in and upgraded us to the Junior suite due to missing out on a day in Rome making our day. The room was nice and spacious with a good... More

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
