Dear Madame, thank you for your kind review. We are delighted to know that you felt comfortable with your room and that you were helped when needed. The breakfast buffet is freshly made everyday and we receive the croissants daily from a famous patisserie in town. Our buffet breakfast offers a wide selection of food, whether you like it “Italian... More

Great location, only a short walk to the nearest merto station, the perfect way to explorer all rome has to offer and the hotel is only a 10 minute walk to the Colosseum, a must see for anyone visiting Rome. The hotel has everything that you need and the staff were extremely helpful.

The Valle hotel is perfectly situated for walking around Rome being only 6 mins from the colosseum and about 8 mins from the train and metro station the hotel itself was very clean and on arrival the receptionist was very polite. The room was very clean and was cleaned every day by the pleasant cleaning staff and also comfortable and... More

Let me start by mentioning the positives the hotel is central for both the main bus and rail terminus 10 minutes up the hill and the coliseum 10 minutes down the hill. We were located in a room at the rear of the hotel which was very quiet so we weren’t bothered by the noise like other guests have complained... More

we stayed at the Hotel September/October 2014. I shared a room with another lady, our room faces the street and we can hear all the street noise including garbage collection at midnight! The room is quite tiny and dark, very very basic facilities, no TV, no fridge, wifi is on-off, the key card usually does not work. The toilet/shower is... More

The place has the collesum at the end of the street 1way metro at the other. It's clean and basic also small . I couldn't understand why they put a chair with a back under the dressing table as you didn't have room to sit on it. The bathroom was small and clean but the shower head kept falling down... More

Not what was expected. Bathroom uncomfortable and toilet seat broken. Hair Dryer and refrigerator did not work. No ice in hotel. Small elevator with long wait. To walk up one needs to go outside and have someone one stair door. Limited continental breakfast.

First with the positive – just to be fair. The hotel is very well located in central Rome and easy to find on the long Via Cavour running down the hill from the main railway station. The hotel advertises a distance of 300m, but the walk down seemed a lot farther - perhaps it was the effect of an early... More

The only positive aspects were most of the staff including the helpful front desk and the location. However the negative aspects will be keeping me far far away from this hotel. I've had $200 USD stolen likely from whomever are cleaning the rooms. I've emailed the hotel and awaiting their response. Not only that but the ac failed to work... More

A comfortable and clean choice, with a great location, really, you won't be disappointed! Central to absolutely everything, metro (Savour), most major sites and attractions. This is definitely a choice for you if your room is just for sleeping in, breakfast here is simple but ample. Plenty of eating options nearby, overall a great hotel stay.

Staying in Monti

Neighborhood Profile
Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighborhood just west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season, quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its cobblestone streets. The neighborhood supports unique and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime residents as well as hipsters on the hunt. Hang out at Piazza della Madonna dei Monti anytime after lunch and you'll always find something going on.
