I was referred to this hotel by a friend who had stayed here through convenience, and on arrival at the main train station - Termini - from the airport via coach, we found its central location to be a winner. My friend had advised me that most of the hotel has already been through a room refurbishment, and our room... more

I am a bit surprised at some of the negative reviews and wonder about their age. Our family of 5 stayed there overnight recently as we came in from Venice on the train and were flying out the next day. The bathrooms in our two connecting rooms were brand new, the rooms were spotless, the beds and pillows were comfortable,... more

We booked this hotel with a number of colleagues for four nights. Judging from the website the hotel looked classy and pleasant. However, as soon as we came in, we noticed that the website is perhaps the only classy element of the hotel. The lobby is tired, the staff hardly speaks English, there is no internet connection in the room,... more

I booked this hotel from their website, after desperately seeking for a hotel in Rome (most of hotel were fully booked at that time). The pictures of the room was so cool, lots of roses in the garden, etc. However, when I checked in, I just realized that the room was very old. The bed was too old, the carpet... more

We arrived to rome for our honeymoon. The Hotel was very nice. The room was cleaned every day. During our vacation, the hotel's staff was very helpful for guiding us, as it was our first time in Italy. The breakfast was simple but rich. Always fresh with a wounderful attention and service. Thank you for making our honeymoon unforgettable! more

I booked the Villa delle Rose online and was fooled by the pictures. The lobby needed a makeover and the room was small, dark and damp. The bathroom was tiny and not very comfortable. The bed was hard and the pillow was more like a flat tire. We stayed here because of its close proximity to Termini. My mistake. We... more

Taking blind from Internet I was more than happy with this place. It was hot in Rome but my room stayed cool. Street noise quieted down at night and even during the day was no worse than NYC. Breakfast service well stocked, good coffee. Plenty of hot water, very clean and well kept. English/French/Spanish speaking. In our party was one... more

I can forgive much about this hotel simply because of the small garden, particularly on a hot and sticky June evening (though there's not much to be done about neighbouring squabbling cats). Arriving after midnight, I was given a small back bedroom on the second floor, a floor which has obviously been subdivided with dropped ceilings, etc, to create a... more

I only stayed one night and then changed hotels, this place was truly terrible, dirty dingy and in a really bad area. I actually felt sorry for the staff, all of whom seemed very friendly and helpful, sadly there hotel was not so likeable. more

Although the hotel is very near to station the area around hotel is not very nice. You will not want to walk in the area at night. The hotel itself is dirty. Looks like the carpets are never vaccuumed and they are coming off the floor. The rooms are dirty. The water glasses we were given had fungus on them.... more
