Our stay at Hotel Villa Glori was just perfect for a quick trip in Rome as a mother/daughter team traveling together in Europe for the first time. The location may not have been extremely ideal but the price was great for the hotel seeing as how Rome can be VERY expensive. It was in a nice quiet neighborhood and offered... more
My daughter and I spent 3 nights here. Very nice, but small, rooms. Pleasant staff most of home speak some English. Breakfast was very good. Good restaurant just across the street for lunch or dinner. Short bus ride to the Flaminio train station. more
This is a really really nice hotel. Upon checkin, the staff told us about attractions we might be interested in, gave us a map and directions to everything, just outstanding. We were 2 girls traveling together, and they gave us our own rooms across the hall from each other for no extra charge. I'm sure they just had more demand... more
I stayed in the Vila glory in the winter, where everything is closed by 11pm so it was a good choice. The hotel is in great shape, clean and the service and breakfast r good. the problem is that u need to take a tram ride (5-10 minutes, tram No 2), to reach "Piaza del popolo" (M. Flaminio), which is... more
We arrived at the Villa Glori Hotel on 20th Aug. 2009...to be informed that our room had no electricity, so they were sending us to the Hotel Grand Fleming at their expence. On arrival at the Hotel Grand Fleming the comment was"over booked again are they ?) Nice Hotel.. ideal. We had very enjoyable stay in Rome....We didn't get the... more
Small hotel but very nice. Rooms were smaller than I'm accustom to in the U.S., but were very nicely appointed. WiFi was available at 6 Euros per day. Short walk to catch the Tram to the Metro station. Approximately 15 minutes to most historical sites. more
Put simply, this is a very nice hotel. You soon realise that the city centre is easy to get to from the hotel, but, most importantly, while at the hotel there, it's very quiet. Trust me, once you've walked around Rome on a baking hot day, the last thing you need is a broken sleep through excessive noise (once made... more
This room was so small my knees hit the closet when I sit on the end of the bed. I was able to keep all my luggage (and I had alot) in the closet to keep the walk area clear though. I had to carry my large and heavy bags over a stair way to get to my room. The... more
This hotel is not at the central of Roma. You will need to take a 8-10 mins tram from the nearest subway Flaminio, then a less than 5 mins walk from the tram station back to the hotel. From Flaminio stn, you are already at the Piazza Del Popolo - and a 15 mins walk will lead you to Spanish... more
