Nice place to stay. Good value. Staff friendly and helpful, particularly Eamon. Great location. Quiet, peaceful area. Only minutes away from the Termini station which was very handy. Room very basic but clean with regular maid service, air conditioning and a decent-sized bathroom. This was an ideal place for me to stay. I would recommend Hotel Viminale to other travellers... This hotel is located an easy 7 minutes walk from Termini (more if you are weighed down by luggage). We studied Google Maps in advance since we knew we'd arrive in the evening and didn't want to be reading a map on a street corner at 9pm around the seemingly dubious next-to-railway-station neighbourhood. The street is quiet for most part... More

We went to rome for the first time, 2 couples 1 child, booked the hotel myself as I've been told I'm the expert, no pressure so. Picked this hotel based on reviews, value for money and location to what we wanted to see. The hotels in rome are historic and full of culture or other countries might say worn and... More

The hotel is well located on a quietish street. Its worth noting that the traffic that does pass is quite noisy at the front of the hotel, we wore earplugs at night to sleep. The windows have shutters which do a good job at blocking lights for more sleep Bathroom is fine, good shower etc. Beds comfy, 2 singles pushed... More

I couldn´t get a clue how this can be a 4-star hotel. It might have been maybe 20-30 years ago. The whole place is just completely outdated. The breakfast was really bad - watered down juice, greenish salami. One of the worst breakfast I´ve ever had. Well, I could give a place maybe 2 stars and that will be fine.... More

The location was great if you want to see Rome by foot, near Termini station. But... the hotel looks deplorable, old furniture, carpets and sheets. We stayed 4 nights and nobody changed our towels and sheets. Odd cleaning smell in the hotel and rooms. The breakfast was not tasty, smelly ham, overcooked eggs and bad coffee. The staff was cold and... More

I picked this hotel mostly because of it's location and the price but I was happy. It's walking distance to most of Rome but far enough from the center to be reasonable. The roof deck is a nice bonus. The rooms are small but efficient, I wasn't spending much time in the room.

The hotel itself is in very good location, cannot fault it for that. The termini is 5 minutes away, Colleseum maybe 15. You could walk to the 'Wedding Cake' and Piazza Navano, however it was 40 degrees whilst we were there so we didn't bother. The hotel itself is very tired and could really do with some TLC. I was... Location of this hotel is fantastic! Just 5-10 mins walk from Termini and about 15 mins to the colosseum. There are lots of nice bars and restaurants within a few mins of the hotel-definitely recommend Strega just around the corner!! Reception staff on arrival were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful and it was lovely to be... More
