Staff is very friendly, breakfast is nice. Do not stay here if you need wifi, it is not reliable. It only works a few hours each day, and the front staff just says "sorry, we call somebody. It happens a lot." The walls are pretty thin, but once we spoke to our neighbors, they quieted down. When a new person... More

Awful, shabby, outdated, dark and dreary, breakfast very poor. The only good thing was the towels and sheets were clean otherwise we would of walked out. Stayed for 2 nights and stayed out of the hotel as much as possible.

We just stayed for a full week and were very satisfied! It's central but in a quiet street. You can walk to most places (the tunnel by Nazionale is a shortcut downtown), and the metro at Repubblica takes you to other sights -- everywhere but Trastevere, really. Take a left at the end of Via Palermo and you're in Monti,... More

We stayed 3 nights at this perfectly positioned hotel. The rooms were comfortable and the breakfast was 5 star. Rooms were very quiet. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel was easy walking distance to all tourist attraction in Rome and a 20 minute walk from the Rome Central train station. Also close to the centre of Rome and... More

I took my mom to europe this april and I paid hotel virgilio with my miles. However if you keep in mind you are in Europe the hotel is pretty good. I mean, the rooms are ok (I live in USA if you want a suite go the big chains) but if you want to experience the real Europe the... More

Stayed in February with my boyfriend. We were very pleased to find that the hotel was within a walking distance to many tourist attractions. The staff at the reception was pleasant and friendly at first, but when we asked if we could borrow a socket converter they instantly seemed annoyed with the question. We were a little surprised by that... More

Smart Reception Area - but a quite unfriendly man on reception - not welcoming at all. Other staff friendly and helpful. Good location for seeing all the major sites of Rome - but although on a side street - very noisy. If you have a front room (which we did) traffic/street noises until at least 2.00 am. Breakfast OK but... More

Stayed here in February with my husband and in-laws. Very central, short walk to the colloseum etc, very close to bus stops and metro (this has to be seen to be believed in rush hour). Hotel is spotlessly clean, beds are comfy, breakfast is adequate. Is exactly as advertised. Hotel bar wasnt open when we were there but an excellent... More

Fortunately i didn’t pay for my room here and used some of my Avios as a 'reward'. I certainly would of been disappointed if i had paid, the rooms were tiny and we were given a room on the bottom floor literally on a street level with two single beds. I've never been to prison but i imagine they and... More
