This hotel is very nice! Great location! Many nice not touristic cafés and small independent shops. Stuff is friendly! Breakfast is huge! My room 142 was so nice! I have only good impression of this hotel!

Spent six nights here and would definately come back again if in Rome. We were sightseeing on foot and were able to walk to most places. Room was on the small side but clean and tidy. Breakfast was plentiful, from eggs and bacon to sweet cakes ! We booked well in advance and got a very good deal. The reception... More

I don't know where to start, everything was awful. Breakfast with the worst coffee i have ever tasted, the treatment that i had since the arrive. Looks like that they didn't know what they where doing, i paid everything one night early and when i got to the check out they said that i had paid nothing. Don't recommend for... More

I waited to long to book my trip to Rome and the original hotel I wanted was not available, so I chose this one. The location is excellent, walking distance to lots of things. The room was clean, although the bathroom had a strange smell several times. I could def hear people walking and talking within the property(I had a... More

I spent a week in Rome and I really enjoyed the stay. The hotel is situated in a very good position: near Termini (10 minute walk), not far away from the city center (again 15 minute walk) and in a shot bus ride from Vatican. Yes, of course, it was a little bit noisy (especially at night), but the noise... More

The location was very nice, within 10 minutes of 2 Metro stops, 15 of Termini and the Colosseum. Breakfast was pretty decent, plenty of options. Room was kind of small but not bad, clean. The only big downside was that the bed was pretty terrible and hard. Our double was actually 2 twins pushed together and you could feel the... More

A very nice little hotel, centrally located, within walking distance of some attractions, and only a short bus ride to the Vatican. The rooms were clean & tidy, the shower was powerful and hot, and the maid service very quick and efficient. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was very good, my only tiny complaint was the four... More

stayed here with my daughter last week. lovely hotel with helpful, friendly staff. Room was plenty big enough for our needs. Good choice of food for breakfast and plenty of it. Ideal location for getting to main attractions of Rome. We bought a 24 hour pass for the hop on hop off tourist bus which was good value. We ate at... More

This hotel is in a great central location and if you do stay here, you'll save money on taxis. Termini station is a 15 minute walk with luggage. All the main sights of Rome are walkable from the hotel– including the Vatican, just across the river. So it would be a good choice for someone coming to the city for... More

The location was good easy to find and central to all the main sites, we spent 5 days and we only hired a couple of taxis the rest was walking around. The hotel had clean facilities, internet worked, the breakfast was a good start of the day. There are a few good restaurants within 5 mins walk from the Hotel.... More

Staying in Monti

Neighborhood Profile
Monti
Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighborhood just west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season, quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its cobblestone streets. The neighborhood supports unique and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime residents as well as hipsters on the hunt. Hang out at Piazza della Madonna dei Monti anytime after lunch and you'll always find something going on.
