Stayed at the Verona for my Brithday in Rome, we read all the reviews which we took on board, therefore there were no unpleasant surprises, quite the opposite. The staff were extremely helpful, breakfast was more than enough to fuel you for a busy morning sight seeing (just ask the staff for cheese eggs and ham) the room was clean... More

My wife and I stayed in the Verona for two nights. It was a short walk to the centre of the city and close to the main railway station. The room though small was clean, equipped with a mini fridge and had a modern style bathroom . The staff were courteous and friendly. There were free bicycles available to explore... More

Booked with friends as a 3 night break. The rooms are quite compact, as were the ensuites, so don't expect anything else - if you are practical & realise that you only sleep there, they are more than comfortable - there was adequate wardrobe space & the cases fitted easily under the bed to keep them out of the way.... The hotel is very basic. I had read this from other reviews but I was still a bit surprised. The room was too small for a family of 4. There was insufficient closet space, only enough for 2 people. The other 2 had to live out of their suitcase for the week that we were there. The bathroom had mildew... More

We stayed at the Verona for 4 nights following 3 nights in Venice. We caught the train from Venice to the Termini in Rome, the Verona was within walking distance. Our room was comfortable, although the shower cubicle was small. We had a small fridge in the room that was useful for storing water, fruit, wine, beer etc. The breakfast... More

We stayed for 3 nights in early August and found it to be a very good value hotel in a good location with friendly, helpful staff. An easy walk from the termini and genuinely only about a 10 minute walk from the colosseum. Breakfast plates of ham, salami and cheese were adequate, plenty choice of bread and pastries, and boiled... More

We already had a good idea of what the Verona looked like from their website, but the reality was somehow more pleasing to us. It is a very compact hotel but this created a more intimate atmosphere and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were satisfactorily air conditioned which was vital when outside temperatures were in the... More

We recently stayed in the Verona hotel Rome (Sunday 2nd- Thursday 6th August 2015) as far as we were no the concerned we could not fault this hotel whatsoever! The hotel was clean and tidy and the breakfast in the morning was exactly what is expected from a city break hotel. Thank god the air conditioning worked perfectly and it... More

We stayed for 4 nights with our 2 teenage children and other family members. Pros- excellent location within walking distance of the bus and train station, metro and many places to eat nearby. 10 mins to Colosseum and 20 mins to Trevi Fountain so getting around to tourist spots is easy. Wifi in all areas of hotel. Breakfast is plentiful... More

The location of the hotel is excellent for the collosseum and Roman Forum. The Santa Maria maggiore church at the top of the street is as every spectacular as St. Peter's We stayed in room 102 room which was compact ,but we were only in it to sleep!! The shower door was broken so water leaked out. All the staff... More
