I booked the Verona Hotel as a surprise for my husbands 60th birthday. The hotel staff were great and arranged for wine and a note to be placed in our 3rd floor room. The room was spacious with a lovely large shower room, 2 big windows, usual furniture and a secure wall safe which was an added bonus. All areas... More

Was here for 2 nights. Room ok, big bed, no curtains - you have to hang out of the window and close the outside blinds - be careful on the 5th floor! Breakfast very poor but then you get what you pay for. Staff friendly, bathroom not big but big enough. No restaurant but good one next door - see... More

We stayed here 4 nights in November 2014 and the hotel staff was extremely helpful . Our wallets had got stolen and even though the hotel was prepaid there was also a City Tax which we were supposed to pay directly at the hotel. The receptionist was very helpful and did not keep us waiting at all. In fact ,... More

We stayed here for 3 nights in November. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our Room was large and very clean. Breakfast was typically Italian but yummy, don't forget to ask the lady through the hatch if you would like ham and eggs! The hotel Verona is an ideal base for exploring Rome.

We had a few days here after Easter, and the staff were very helpful and friendly , and booked a tour for us to Pompeii. The hotel itself is modest from the outside but inside is very clean and although the room we had was small and the shower slightly cramped for a big chap like me, but there was... More

We stayed here over Easter for 4 nights. Got the "Family Room No. 507" on the 5th floor. Clean, well refurbished room with all amenities. Lovely balcony overlooking the backyard - which gave us some very peaceful and quite nights. Breakfast was typical italian but there should be something for every taste. Very helpful and pleasant personell, who were always... More

Very spacious rooms. Good heating. Very good hot water. Very good breakfast service. I was travelling with my daughter and we loved the fact that we had a double bed each. The room had a very nice small balcony.

Staying in Monti

Neighborhood Profile
Monti
Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighborhood just west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season, quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its cobblestone streets. The neighborhood supports unique and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime residents as well as hipsters on the hunt. Hang out at Piazza della Madonna dei Monti anytime after lunch and you'll always find something going on.
