Recently stayed for 3 nights as an anniversary weekend break. This hotel is easy to find from Termini station, 5mins walk. It is a good location for exploring the Coliseum and Rome on foot. No taxis or public transport needed. The hotel suited our needs and was what we expected for the location and budget. It was clean and well... More

I booked this hotel for a last minute city break to Rome. The hotel is a lot more central than I thought - 10 min walk to Colosseum, but don't walk to the Vatican - it took me just under an hour in a heat wave! There are plenty of places around to eat, after walking all day it was... More

Nice, clean hotel. Staff friendly and very helpful. The air conditioning wasn't really working and in 37 degree heat this was important. Rooms Are adequate and worth the money although alittle small but it did meet our needs. Very good location

Clean and comfortable hotel room within 20 minutes easy downhill walk to the Colosseum and forum, also within sight of the magnificent St Maria Maggiore which contains wood from Christ's first cradle. Breakfast is included and within 10 minutes walk of Italian, Chinese and Indian restaurants and my favourite gelataria. On arrival, tourist tax charge of only 4 euros per... More

the hotel was great and just what we needed for our week long trip in Rome. the staff were great, really friendly and helpful. The free breakfast was also good with a good selection of pastries and cereal on offer, along with meats and cheese and eggs when asked. the room we had (403) was great for the two of... More

Good points: Friendly staff - great receptionists Aircon! Safe in room Bad points: Terrible breakfast - consisting of mainly pastries thats not very fresh and the closest to fresh you will get is canned peaches. You have to ask for boiled eggs and ham and cheese as it is hidden Kids beds filled the room up completely and were very... More

this hotel is ok and the staff are absolutely brilliant, but it is only 3 star. the first room we had was 203 which for a stay of one week was hopeless as there was no drawer space to stow your small clothes, it had a small wardrobe but was totally useless for staying in for a week. Following morning... More

The staff at this hotel are friendly and helpful but I wouldn't stay here again because the bathroom was very small especially the shower. I am only 5' 4" and I struggled to shower properly and the shower head power was poor. It was a wet room of sorts it had a small mat to stand about 12" square and... More

Nice hotel in walking distance of all the major sites and train stations, breakfast was basic but ok for what we needed. Staff on reception were helpful when we needed help or directions & rooms were clean with a nice balcony.

Check in was good with lady on reception very polite and helpful. She provided information regarding location of main tourist attractions and if within walking distance how to get to them or if best to use public transport. we were given a double superior room as it was a special trip to Rome for my husband's birthday. The room did... More

Staying in Monti

Neighborhood Profile
Monti
Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighborhood just west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season, quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its cobblestone streets. The neighborhood supports unique and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime residents as well as hipsters on the hunt. Hang out at Piazza della Madonna dei Monti anytime after lunch and you'll always find something going on.
