Very spacious rooms. Good heating. Very good hot water. Very good breakfast service. I was travelling with my daughter and we loved the fact that we had a double bed each. The room had a very nice small balcony.

This is a well priced hotel. It is close to good transport links to get round Rome. Staff friendly and helpful. Rooms small and simple which is fine at the price. Would stay there again. Close to main station but not so close as to be a problem.

Super, well located hotel. No frills but clean and very cheap. All staff very friendly. Breakfast continental but plenty of choice and plenty of it. Our room was large for a double with a superb bathroom. Plenty of restaurants nearby and only 5 minutes from Termini station. Great ice cream place on corner of Via Cavour (50 metres).

Hotel Verona was everything we required for our four day trip to Rome! The rooms are small and basic, but as you are in Rome a place to rest your head after a busy day sight seeing is all you need! We had a balcony overlooking a garden and rustic Italian style buildings! The hotel was clean and at breakfast... More

Fantastic location, room was great as has everything you need and is a reasonable size. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The location is perfect for sight seeing as all the main attractions are within walking distance. The restaurant next door is also a must as it is cheap and very good quality Italian food. As for the poor reviews... More

we visited Rome from 20 - 23 Feb we stayed in Hotel verona and found it excellent. From booking in Alex who is on reception was very friendly and helpful nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were adequate for our 3 nights stay, very clean with a mini bar and safe which we did not need to pay for.... More

By flying to Rome, you take the Leonardo express to Termini and walk 5 minutes to the hotel - that's very good. The hotel have an airport service, but we did not use that. You can easily walk to the centre of the town and all the things you must visit. The hotel says they are close the Spanish Steps... More

My wife and I stayed for 3 nights at the end of February and it was great. The room was clean and it had everything you need for a city break, the staff were very polite and keen to help with any request. At the Verona you are pretty much in the centre of Rome and you are only 10... More

Stayed here for 3 nights while in Rome. Small, clean room with a balcony that overlooks the back. It is fairly quiet, or we were too tired after a day of walking to notice otherwise. The breakfast is not very good to be honest but it is included. Coffee was from a dispenser, don't expect too much. If you want... More

Staying in Monti

Neighborhood Profile
Monti
Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighborhood just west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season, quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its cobblestone streets. The neighborhood supports unique and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime residents as well as hipsters on the hunt. Hang out at Piazza della Madonna dei Monti anytime after lunch and you'll always find something going on.
