we visited Rome from 20 - 23 Feb we stayed in Hotel verona and found it excellent. From booking in Alex who is on reception was very friendly and helpful nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were adequate for our 3 nights stay, very clean with a mini bar and safe which we did not need to pay for.... More

By flying to Rome, you take the Leonardo express to Termini and walk 5 minutes to the hotel - that's very good. The hotel have an airport service, but we did not use that. You can easily walk to the centre of the town and all the things you must visit. The hotel says they are close the Spanish Steps... More

My wife and I stayed for 3 nights at the end of February and it was great. The room was clean and it had everything you need for a city break, the staff were very polite and keen to help with any request. At the Verona you are pretty much in the centre of Rome and you are only 10... More

Stayed here for 3 nights while in Rome. Small, clean room with a balcony that overlooks the back. It is fairly quiet, or we were too tired after a day of walking to notice otherwise. The breakfast is not very good to be honest but it is included. Coffee was from a dispenser, don't expect too much. If you want... More

we arrived at termani station from the airport and the hotel is a simple 5-10 min walk away. This was perfect as we would have been lost trying to get a taxi amongst the busy crowds stood outside the station. When we arrived we were greeted by lovely reception staff who gave us our key and showed us up to... More

Stayed here for 3 nights over valentines weekend. I honestly could not find a fault with it! The staff on reception are very pleasant and helped us with directions and recommendations for food etc. The room was a tad on the small side but absolutely fine for what we needed, the room and bathroom was very very clean and the... Just had 4 nights in Rome at this hotel. Its location is excellent, a 15-20 min walk from the Colosseum and Forum straight down the main road, there's no way you can get lost! The tour buses also stop just across the road next to the church. The hotel and my room were impeccably clean and my room was cleaned every... More

Returned from a four day break on 5th Feb, the hotel is well worth a visit although a budget priced hotel it seemed a lot classier. From arriving and being greeted by a very helpful young man, every member of staff we met at the hotel treated us with the upmost respect and were helpful in every way possible. Room... More

Staying in Monti

Neighborhood Profile
Monti
Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighborhood just west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season, quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its cobblestone streets. The neighborhood supports unique and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime residents as well as hipsters on the hunt. Hang out at Piazza della Madonna dei Monti anytime after lunch and you'll always find something going on.
