We were thrilled with The Selene on our recent trip to Rome. The proximity to the train station is what convinced us to book here, and it was so worth it. The neighborhood was great and the room was a very good size for the two of us. We loved the private bathroom and the breakfast buffet in the mornings.... more

My husband and I stayed for 5 nights here, easy walk from the train station. The beds were hard, pillows were hard, but the service was great!!! Breakfast was good. I would stay here again on a return trip to Rome, great value, as hotels expensive in this city. more

One of the best possible locations - you are in walk range to railway station and subway or you can just spend ( as we preferred ) a whole day on waliking and sightiseeing this lovely city. A pleasant hotel - without frills - however the rooms very modern and clean - with super king bed and good bathroom. Excellent location as within walking distance of the metro and buses. We found the selene hotel in a small street down the opera plaza, close to the terms of Diocletian.
