Only the staff, they are very nice people, very helpfull, you just ask for any thing related to the city, but not the hotel, and they will do every thing to help you out!! Yet, if you ask for anything related to hotel, which is not very nice by the way, they will not be able to help. I hated... More

We went there for the New Year holidays. The hotel is within walking distance from all main locations - 15mins to Colosseum, 15mins to Fontana di Trevi, 30mins to Piazza Navona and around 45mins to the Vatican. The reception was very friendly and bfast was typical italian with croissants, toast, cheese and cappuccino! We asked for a quiet room, and... More

Staff were great, and location convenient to Termini and walkable to most sites in Rome (and easy metro to Vatican). Rooms in good condition but overall feel is somewhat of a budget hotel. Room was big but bathroom fairly narrow. There are other options in the same area for a better price.

A perfect located hotel, near Termini and Republica metro station, and easy access to all main points of atraction. Of course, all staff were friendly, profesionist and helpful(Florian was by far the best host i ever met, and i'm sure i won't find somebody like hime very soon, at least in Europe). The room was very clean, the bathroom as well,... More

After traveling to Florence and Venice from Rome, we booked Hotel Dorica to spend our last day/night in Rome before returning home. We had previously spent 3 nights at another hotel in Rome (way too expensive but worth the price) and had booked Hotel Dorica to save some money. Hotel Dorica was a pleasant surprise and was much more than... More

Location: The Viminale is one of the seven hills of ancient Rome, so the location is well within the central area, even by the city's ancient boundaries. Yes, it's located where there are cobblestone streets aplenty! The Quirinale and Esquiline (hills) are both within easy walking distance. The closest major street/thoroughfare is Via Nazionale, just about a block away. Via... More

Hotel Dorica was an excellent choice for us. It is very conveniently located a few minutes' walk from Termini station, close to Repubblica metro, and within walking distance of all the main monuments, museums and galleries in the city centre, though you will need the metro to go to the Vatican. The hotel staff were friendly and very helpful, and... More

We stayed there in November for 4 nights. We can highly recommend this Hotel. The staff is brilliant, friendly and very very helpful. Florian, Emanuella, Mario and Peter, are absolutely fantastic. Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
