Our stay at this hotel was part of a package and therefore cannot comment on the price/value equation. The hotel is off the beaten path and there if nothing to do around the neighborhood at night. The area is a little shady at night. The room we stayed at was beautiful, spacious and very clean. It was located on the... More

Front desk persons were not helpful and "stuffy". Felt like we were a bother when we arrived, and when asking for a suggestion for a place to have dinner. The rooms were clean, and small, but had a distinct odor. The "pillow" (if you want to call it that) were about as thick as a towel when folded. When I... More

The hotel is still undergoing renovation but is now almost complete. The room we stayed in was beautiful; well appointed, functional, and very quiet. Undoubtedly, the owners have incurred considerable expense to make it so. The pleasure of the physical beauty, however, is quickly negated by the experience of having to deal with some members of the staff. With three... More

This hotel was nothing like most of the pictures or the website. While our room was spacious and had a wonderful veranda, the rest of the stay was horrible. The staff were extremely unhelpful. You felt as if you were putting them out by asking for recommendations or help. The breakfast, while typical, was poor. Terrible coffee, juice that tasted... More

Hotel rooms are clean and the staff was helpful, but didnt care for the neighborhood. or th towels that were provided, would recommend bringing your own towels! Breakfast was plain, nothing fancy. Did not like the location, if it was in another location, would possibly stay here again. More

We stayed at the hotel donatello for 3 nights. We found it to be a comfortable, well kept hotel and the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was served outside in the small garden- we had a flask of coffe, croissant each and a bread roll, very nice. It is a little walk to the nearest metro stop but we... More

Service was appaling. The hotelier in the night shift was very kind, but the hotelier in the morning shift was extremely unkind, or racist? i don't know. Rooms were immaculately clean with lovely furniture, wall papers but bad location, had to walk long distance from Termini station. Loved the rooms, but I guess staying at the hotel is all about... Hotel Donatello is located two metro stations away from the Termini metro station (which is not only the railway station, but also the connection between the two metro lines), so it is easy to reach. Hotel Donatello is also located very near several bus and tram stations, which also help you get to Termini, so, again, getting around the city... More

We were very fortunate to find this hotel when the Commodore cancelled our reservation 2 days before we arrived. The people were very friendly & helpful, the room was small but clean & comfortable, great shower, a refrigerator, & even a balcony which we didn't have time to use. The bath towels are like sheets but they get you dry!... More
