Fantastic little B & B with a lovely couple who are very welcoming and helpful in every way. The location is excellent with many sights within walking distance. Metro station within walking distance as well as a supermarket and many restaurants. Pietro and Christina take very good care of their guests and will join you for a chat in the... More

We stayed at this lovely apartment for 3 nights, and the experience made our first trip to Rome even more memorable. Thank you so much Pietro and Christina! The apartment is a few minutes’ walk from Termini station, 15~20 mins walk to Coloseo, it locates in a quiet neighborhood without any safety concerns, we tried 2 times back in the... More

Our B&B hosts, Pietro and Cristina, do not live on the premises, but very nearby. Cristina met us within minutes of our arrival and gave us the rundown on Rome sights and our neighborhood which was close (but not too close) to the Termini train station. This location makes it easy to walk or catch the metro or the bus... More

Pietro and Cristina were practical warm and friendly and provided us with great information about Rome. Everything was clean, and we really felt like home. Rooms are cleaned everyday, thanks to Maria. They served good breakfast everyday, love the tiramisu plus the Italian coffee and bread. The hotel is located very near to Termini station and Metro. The place has... More

What a fantastic B & B! Located conveniently just a short walk from Termini and extremely affordable. What we thought was most invaluable was the local knowledge on must do's, eat's, see's; walking/transport routes and queue-jumping tips that Pietro shared with us. It really made our time in Rome easier and more memorable.

My wife and I just stayed three days at BIancagiulia. Pietro and Cristina couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful. The place is beautiful and just a few blocks from the Termini station. Unlike many places in Italy, you can even get full on their breakfast :).

Clean, friendly and cheerful. Pietro was very helpful and gave us tips on the best places to visit. Room was clean and fresh with a beautiful balcony full of flowers. So much more personal than a hotel as it was in an apartment block with a beautiful foyer and courtyard. So much more the feeling of the real Rome. Close... More

From the first day of booking we had a little issue with the booking company. Pietro personally contacted us and fixed the problem. When we got there it was cool because he remember the situation and who we were. He got a map and sat with us outlining the map and circling places of interest and how to get there.... More

I cannot praise this establishment enough. Pietro was a wonderful host. The B&B is located close to the Termini. Pietro took the time to sit and advise us of all the places to visit. Every morning he would arrive and have coffee with his guests. Check what we had done the day before and advice what we should do today.... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
