i stayed here for 3 nights during the world swimming championships. although my roman native friends told me it would be hopeless for getting in and out, in fact the combination of the hotels free shuttle bus (reservations usually required) and the brilliant public transport in the area (705 bus and then the metro, or the 130 bus all the... more

Bad Service all the way through. We were travelling as a group and the check in is already horriable. The lady asked us to come to the right, then she went to do other things to the left, then she call us to the left. what the hack?? The rooms are decent they are clean but that is it. A... more

Stayed here for 2 nights late October 2007. I was part of a large conference group and this is a good hotel for a conference with excellent meeting rooms etc. Room was exellent. Hotel clean and tidy. No problems really. A little too far out from centre to be a good tourist location, although there was a hotel shuttle bus.... more

I stayed at the hotel because I was not visiting Rome, just transiting between the airport and a cruise that left the next day. My luggage failed to arrive at Rome airport and the hotel staff were fantastic at contacting lost luggage, getting them to track the cruise so my luggage could be returned at some other port (it turned... more

We stayedi n this hotel on the way back from the Amalfi Coast to catch a plane to KL. Out of all the hotels we stayed in Europe and KL this is the only one I have written a bad review about. The hotel claims it is a 15 minute trip from the airport (must be by helicopter). The cab... more

Think it is fine for what it is - a large conference/chain hotel on the outskirts of Rome. Don't expect luxury and you won't be disappointed. We had no problems with the shuttle - which is a large coach, not a minibus (as we had expected). Clearly a popular hotel with large groups of US tourists, who can take over... more

A very clean hotel with very heplful staff. Well priced if you can incorporate a weekend deal. The restaurant was fantastic and so were all of the staff. The free shuttle bus never let us down. (15 mins late one day but the traffic was very bad - elections were on and the Pope was throwing a party in the... more

While the room was spacious and clean, the air conditioner did not get the job done. It was 105 degrees outside, and after 3 days on a Tuscan farm, we were looking forward to some modern creature comforts. The pillows were so hard, they hurt our ears. There was no sound-proofing, as evidenced by the constant noise of a wedding... more

As others have stated, the Four Points Sheraton is not in the heart of Rome. There is a shuttle that leaves the hotel every 1 1/2 hours so if you do miss the shuttle you do have a problem. We would take the shuttle every morning at either 8:00am or 9:30am and return on the 11:30pm shuttle. The ride takes... more

Do not rely on the "complimentary shuttle service" advertised by this hotel. We chose this hotel our last night for the sole purpose of easily being able to use the shuttle to get to the train station and then Fiumicino airport. Hoped to avoid the steep cab fares and having to drag bags through Rome. HOWEVER, the shuttle never showed... more
