We were only here one night as a stopping off point on the way to the airport. The hotel staff was super helpful and pleasant. The room was adequate albeit small. Ours had three single beds! Bathroom was updated and shower was great. A/C worked well. Breakfast was fine.

Located on a quiet street but close to the hustle and bustle. A lot of great restaurants nearby and close to the train and the subway. Walk from train was about 10 minutes with our luggage, hotel was easy to find. Friendly staff and decent breakfast. Room was spacious and we were lucky to get a room on top floor... More

Centrally located in a quiet side street and only about 10 minutes walk from the Colosseum. Great rooftop terrace bar, ideal place to relax any time of the day or night, with a splendid view over Rome.

We wanted a room near the Colosseum for a family of 4 as we only had a day in Rome before going to the Santa Catarina in Amalfi. This hotel worked great it had four single beds and 2 bathrooms for a good price. The late night check-in was very helpful and the hotel manager moved his car so I... More

We stayed here in June for 2 nights before leaving on a 10 day cruise. Hotel staff was great, friendly, and accommodating. Breakfast is included, and was very good. Location is within walking distance to the Colosseum, and the open air bus. Roof top bar was awesome, with a great view of Rome. I would stay here again.

Stayed here for two nights in July before doing a cruise. Location was perfect. Sites are walkable from the hotel. Staff was extremely helpful! Breakfast was an added bonus. Though the room was small it worked out fine. The terrace was a great place to have a drink and relax while looking over part of the city. Just a note... More

I stayed with two of my friends for one night here. We wanted to be somewhere close to all of the attractions while also not being overly expensive. This place was perfect for what we were looking for! It's maybe a 10 minute walk to the Colosseum. The beds weren't super comfortable and the walls were pretty thin but for... More

Staff couldn't do enough for you. Friendly and helpful. We would always get to the hotel in the evening when the bar had no staff, but the gentleman behind the reception was always happy enough to get us a drink. Breakfast was really good. With lovely fresh pastries, yoghurts, bread, different spreads, cakes, biscuits, cheeses, egg, meats, hot drinks and... More

Three stars of five is more likely directed to the hotel owners and management. The location is great. Very close to the Colosseum and metro station. There are many nice places to eat around the hotel and even Termini station is really close. About the staff I can say only the best. All the guys at the reception were always... More

This hotel is in an excellent location. Close to the colesseum, once we had our bearings it was a 30-40 minute walk to the Vatican &20-30 minute walk to the Spanish steps and the Trevi fountain. There are a lot of places to eat nearby. The room was maintained and very clean, the reception staff spoke excellent English and were... More

Staying in Monti

Neighborhood Profile
Monti
Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighborhood just west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season, quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its cobblestone streets. The neighborhood supports unique and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime residents as well as hipsters on the hunt. Hang out at Piazza della Madonna dei Monti anytime after lunch and you'll always find something going on.
