Hotel was very clean, friendly & comfortable- The roof top terrace was a must in the evening with stunning views all across Rome (very romantic :)... More

I stayed here for 4 nights with my teenage son in August. The hotel is on a quiet sidestreet off the main via cavour which leads down to the Roman Forum and Colosseum so the location was great. The staff were very keen to please and my son was very happy to have free reign over the hotel computer in... More

We stayed for 4 nights during last Thanksgiving week. This was a nice hotel which had friendly staff and very close to many tourist spots. You could walk to the Colosseum and The Capital or take the subway. There were many good restaurants around. I would stay there again.

We stayed as a family of 4 in the hotel in July of 2014 for three nights. The hotel is conveniently located near Termini Station and the Colosseum. The front desk staff was always friendly and helpful. The room we had for our family had 4 single beds & 2 bathrooms (only one with a toilet). That was a pleasant... More

We stayed 2 nights at this hotel in June 2014 with our toddler. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk from the termini train station. Located in a quiet street, the hotel room was comfortable with a private bathroom and nice shower. The roof top terrace offers some spectaular views both night and day of this eternal city. The... The Hotel Colosseum met and exceeded all of our expectations during our 2 week vacation in Rome. The staff were great, the breakfast was more than adequate, the room was larger than anticipated, the A/C was fantastic considering it was so very hot in Rome and the location couldn't have been better. On a nice quiet side street (Via Sforza)... More

This is a lovely little hotel set right in the heart of Rome. We booked through the hotel for a taxi transfer to and from the hotel which cost 70 euros from the airport to the hotel and 50 euros back. As we stepped out of the arrivals gate there was a very pleasant gentleman waiting for us who then... More

Took a while to find Hotel but when we did it was easier after that. Hotel was in great location and close to underground which was easy to use. Staff were great and would do anything for you. Room was great. View from rooftop was fantastic. Would go again.

Staff attentive, rooms clean and tidy, great central location, the receptionist when we arrived was brilliant, would definitely visit again. Only small downside was limited choice for breakfast as we stayed for 8 nights.

Q. Why did the Colosseum have to close? A: The lions had eaten up all the prophets! Well, not quite. It is very much open. Emperor Vespasian, builder of this mighty edifice, would be thrilled at his legacy’s enduring fame, even without the big cats, the swords and the sandals. He would be somewhat disillusioned at the group of dubious... More
