We would definitely recommend this Hotel to couples on their first visit to Rome. The location was key and we could walk to the Colosseum , the Trevi Fountains , the Spanish Steps , the Pantheon etc etc with ease. We only caught the metro to The Vatican City and that was cheap and close by. We flew into FCO... More

The location is very convenient and the hotel in general is not too bad. The best thing is the amazing view from the rooftop terrace. The rooms are OK, furnishings are ok, all pretty average. I arrived at 12 and was told I could not check in till 2pm.

This was my second trip to Rome, my first with my husband and I booked this hotel to be in good walking distance to the Colosseum and Roman Forum. It was a bit tricky to find at first, but once we located it, we were fine. Our room was great! We were on the second floor and had our own... More

Hotel was being upgraded while we were there, installing a new bar, but that did not detract from the experience. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, rooms were very comfortable. As we were put on the 7th floor, we managed to make the most of the roof top veranda (even in February). Overall, if you a visiting Rome to... More

Stayed here in March 2014 for a few days holiday, great staff, room was adequate for our needs, Breakfast was basic but we didn't mind that. No bar as yet still under renovation. Rooftop terrace was amazing and the best views of Rome, so quiet and worth the time spent in the hotel. Location was good as well as being... More

Dear Nikinunu, I am glad you liked our position, the staff , and our hotel. The renovation works of the bar will finish in few weeks, even if you can always order to drink. We will serve drinks also in the rooftop. I am sorry to read you were robbed on the metro. This can happen in big and small cities.... More

Excellent continental breakfast with choice of cereals, breads, yoghurts, fruit, cakes, sliced meats, boiled eggs, fruit juice and tea/coffee. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Hotel Colosseum is in a very nice location near main railway station and not too far from Colosseum. The hotel is in a very quiet street until the school starts at about 9.00 am. Buffet breakfast was ok. However, we were missing some salads/fruits in it. We were lucky in that there were no noisy neighbors around. The walls of... More

Dear Client Juhani K, thank you for your review. As you said we are in a very quiet street but in the centre of Rome. You need about 15 minutes walking to go to the Colosseo and Roman Forum, and 10 minutes to arrive to main railway station. Also we are on the Monti District, one of the most characteristic... More

My teenage son and I were in Rome for three days during which I had to attend a couple of business meetings via web conference. It was our first time in Rome. The hotel was great for the tourist / vacationing part of those days and terrible for those few work hours. Location: Close enough to walk to the Ancient... More
